The Kingdom of Kongo establishes a rare partnership with an up-and-coming European power, Portugal, to the point that the King of Kongo and his family embrace Christianity and take Portuguese royal names. However, this partnership will also be ground zero for one of the greatest atrocities in human history. KB tackles the 100 men vs Gorilla debate. Why he's changing up his tour schedule. The NBA playoffs and his Bozeman Mutual lock of the year!!!
On this episode of Virgo Season, things get unhinged fast. Joyhdae might be magical, Ryan is fighting for his life against spring pollen, and somehow we land in a full-blown debate about whether 100 men could really defeat a silverback gorilla. (Spoiler: absolutely not.)We dive into the cultural phenomenon that is Sinners, Ryan Coogler's new horror film starring Michael B. Jordan in a dual role. Ryan and Joyhdae have thoughts—from the symbolism and social commentary to why this might be one of the best films of the year. If you haven't seen it, beware of spoilers. If you have, you'll want to hear this breakdown. Then it's on to Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter Tour and the viral moment her daughter Rumi completely stole the show. We talk about Blue Ivy passing the baton, the evolution of Beyoncé's legacy, and why the internet needs to stop projecting diagnoses onto Black children enjoying themselves onstage.Terrence Howard is back on his usual nonsense, this time claiming he turned down playing Marvin Gaye because he'd “cut his lips off” before kissing a man. We unpack the homophobia, the delusion, and the fact that no one even asked for him to play Marvin in the first place. And yes—it's real: sperm racing is officially a sport. We break down the details of this live-streamed fertility competition and try to figure out how we ended up in a timeline where people are betting on literal sperm.Plus, the now-viral internet debate: could 100 men defeat a silverback gorilla in a fight? Joyhdae and Ryan analyze the odds, the science, the stupidity, and why it proves once again that group projects are doomed to fail. From viral moments to pop culture chaos, this episode of Virgo Season is packed. #VirgoSeasonPodcast ----We want to hear from you:Did Sinners live up to the hype? Who would win, 100 17-year old soccer players or one gorilla? This is the question du jour as Nathan, Nick, and Caleb gather around to talk about the Copa del Rey final, the Champions League semis, and Liverpool winning the league. Of course, there are detours to Paris and Wales and Monaco along the way, plus more gorilla talk.

Billy Graziadei reflects on some epic tours and reunions, the interview kicks off with nostalgia over seeing Biohazard live alongside acts like Ozzy Osbourne, Sepultura, and Danzig. Memories resurface of Biohazard's early tours, including unexpected moments that kept the band from rejoining Ozzfest. Fast forward, the discussion dives into Powerflo's raw, intense process behind their latest album, *Gorilla Warfare*, which is built from heavy collaboration and Sunday jam sessions. Balancing multiple bands, each member is focused on their love for music over fame, bringing everything they've got to keep rock and metal alive. Reflecting on his band's unique blend of metal and hip-hop, Billy explains that their sound evolved naturally from their diverse influences, rather than a planned fusion of styles. He emphasizes that he doesn't intentionally write for one band or the other; instead, he allows songs to find their own place within his projects. When working with PowerFlo, he values the collaborative process, especially with vocalist Sen Dog, where ideas flow freely and they build on each other's strengths. This organic approach fuels a sound that feels raw and authentic, bringing the best of their musical backgrounds together. This week's episode features Biohazard and Powerflo axeman Billy Graziadei! He joins the show to talk about Powerflo's second album Gorilla Warfare coming out on the Day of the Dead (November 1)! We start our conversation discussing what it's like to juggle so many projects at once and his duties in the process, what sporting event gets the songwriting process flowing for Powerflo, his role as a producer in the songs and how that works for Powerflo, touring the project this time around with Biohazard backing full swing. We also chat about how it's hard to be anything but humble thanks to his opportunity to keep hitting stages in 2024, being a huge Cypress Hill fan and ending up in a band with Sen Dog, and what it was originally like to release Biohazard's Uncilivization on one of saddest days we experienced in our country Petar and Brandon discuss the passing of original Iron Maiden vocalist Paul Di'anno, Erik Rutan from Cannibal Corpse losing 90% of his belongings, Jon Schaffer addressing his role in the insurrection after getting sentenced, Biohazard and Life of Agony bringing the noise to Europe, and Kamala Harris getting the ICP endorsement! We were so lucky to speak with Soltan about his track, "Romany Adventures" from the album Gorilla Warfare, a collaboration with Shaq. The track is sampled throughout the episode, but you can listen to the song in its entirety anywhere you listen to music. Soltan is the stage name for bass music's most enigmatic producer from the Middle East. Soltan first called the attention of the bass music scene in November 2014 with the release of his debut artist title EP, Soltan on Sectionz Records. After releases on Firepower Records and remixes for Seven Lions, Zomboy, and Pegboard Nerds captured the attention of industry leaders like Dillon Francis, Skism, Kill the Noise, and many more. Setting up his live debut in 2018 at the Animalz Music Festival in Paris, France, Soltan is the tip of a spear in an elctronic music movement he pioneered by his unique approach to sound, inspiring EDM growth and even genres and taking the industry into emerging markets with emerging markets with signature Middle Eastern influences.
