Episode 296 of the InGoal Radio Podcast, presented by The Hockey Shop Source for Sports, features an interview with Utah Hockey Club goalie Jaxson Stauber. In the feature interview presented by NHL Sense Arena, Stauber takes us back to his early days growing up the son of a former NHL goalie, Robb Stauber, and his path from the USHL to the NCAA to pro hockey, starting with the Chicago Blackhawks and six impressive games last season before signing with Utah in the summer and posting his first NHL shutout on Nov 30. It's a quick but information and advice packed interview with insights from the early days to now in the NHL.In the Parent Segment, presented by Stop It Goaltending U the App, we talk about the importance of understanding that good goalie coach, school and summer camp experiences are not always about fancy drills or exhausted kids, and knowing that quality reps might look a little different. We also review this week's Pro Reads, presented by Vizual Edge, which features Devon Levi of the Buffalo Sabres with another information packed breakdown from his rookie season in the NHL.And in our weekly gear segment, we go to The Hockey Shop Source for Sports to look at the incredibly light True Project X Smoke stick, with a unique look and just 555 grams for a 25-inch paddle.

In this week's episode of UTalk Hockey, Champ and Denz break down why Utah Hockey Club seems to struggle with consecutive wins in their inaugural season. Is the team bogged down by the psychological baggage of past losing seasons and relocation pressure, or are tactical gaps and defensive lapses the real culprits? Could it be something else entirely? The boys dive into each argument with their usual mix of wit, insight, and off-the-boards chirps. Champ brings his hilarious takes, wondering if the team needs a group TED Talk at X4 to shake off their inconsistency. Meanwhile, Denz keeps it classy and tactical, dissecting how a solid system might be the solution to their consistency issues. Together, they balance sharp analysis with a dose of humor to make even the newest Utah hockey fan feel right at home. Plus, we're shining a light on Jaxson Stauber's epic debut for Utah, where he shut out the Vegas Golden Knights in a stunning 6-0 win. DON'T BE SURPRISED is back in this weeks episode, and in Chirpin' with Champ, we read out the week's funniest online chirps and predictions, which includes EZ Raccoon's take on the Utah Hockey Club. On this episode of the "House of Hockey" Podcast, Rae and her guest co-host Joe Cangelosi, dive deep into the latest NHL news, PWHL news and share candid opinions on the hottest topics in the hockey world. Joe is a two-time guest of the podcast and a former pro hockey player most recently playing for the Carolina Thunderbirds. We dive right into the NHL frenzy, starting with the Florida Panthers vs. Carolina Hurricanes showdown that seemed to involve everyone throwing punches. And speaking of fights, who could forget Brandon Tanev of the Seattle Kraken taking on Connor Garland of the Vancouver Canucks? And let's not overlook the confrontation between Bobrovsky and Tkachuk, adding more fuel to the fire in the NHL rivalry department.  But the drama doesn't stop there. We discuss the rollercoaster week for the NY Rangers' Matthew Rempe, from his eventful first game on the outdoor rink to controversial hits and game-winning goals. Plus, Auston Matthews of the Toronto Maple Leafs reaches a milestone with 50 goals this season in his home state of Arizona, while the Arizona Coyotes face controversy with Adam Ruzicka's contract termination after a troubling social media post. In AHL, we celebrate the Rochester Americans' unique initiative of putting nicknames on jerseys for a good cause, and goaltender Jaxson Stauber's impressive night for the Rockford Icehogs. The PWHL takes center stage with the historic Battle on Bay Street at Scotiabank Arena, where Montreal faced off against Toronto in front of the largest pro women's hockey crowd ever expected and the newest sponsor of the league. We also delve into the lighter side of hockey fandom with a social media viral video call-out involving a disgruntled Toronto Leafs fan and a tossed hat. Its the last week of January and the All Star Weekend and Trade Deadline are fast approaching.  The rumors are heating up but there are other issues to discuss as well.  We start in Florida, where the team is struggling to meet expectations.  We move northwest to Vancouver where the reality show is in full swing, with the GM actively interviewing head coach candidates and Boudreau is getting emotional.  Krejci has come out and stated among other things in a long quote (thanks Ty Anderson), that the coaching change in Boston has been good.  Toews is rumored to be on the move out of Chicago and could land in Boston and the rumors swirl around Horvat.  There has even been an asking price put out there by Jeff Marek.  Jaxson Stauber could be a reason the 'Hawks miss out on Bedard as he looked good in a 5-3 win over the Blues, his first in the NHL.  John Gibson has moved into 2nd place all time for wins on the Ducks.  Congrats to both of them!  We pose the question should Corey Crawford be a hall of famer?  Jim Montgomery gave a quote after the Bruins/Leafs game on the 15th that seems to indicate that the players are in charge.  Finally, we talk about Jaro Halak and his 16 years in the NHL as an "undersized" goaltender.  Lots to discuss and breakdown.  Give a listen, comment and Enjoy the Show!
