It's time to get in the wayback machine and revisit the characters that defined the mid-century American television landscape: Nick at Nite Couples. Bad Choices was exactly the right place to break out the fancy cocktail glasses, get fabulously dressed, and say things that would make shock our parents. Join Kris Newton, James D'Amato, Marissa, and MeganBob in (drunkenly) ranking the fuckability of fictional characters that we grew up with, from Happy Days, to Bewitched, to I Love Lucy, to The Jeffersons, and beyond. MeganBob wants to look like a toaster strudel in the name of love, Marissa pioneers the bold new idea of destination orgasms, Kris Newton sees the romance in being surprised by a face peeking out of the mattress, and James D'Amato takes what may possibly be his most controversial stand yet! Hit download, mix a drink, and enjoy the best filth Bad Choices can possibly offer! Big government isn't sexy. But small government? Local government? That government where you can get right up close and see the process unfolding. That government where you can run into your city councilor at the gym? Or at the local liquor store? Or trying to bribe a raccoon for votes? That's the kinda government you can get down and dirty with. This month, Hard Choices visits the recent past with a trip to Pawnee, Indiana. Yes, the bright-eyed innocence and the can-do attitude that believes yes, holes can be filled. We rounded up Kam Servo, Owen Winters, Kris Newton, and MeganBob to break a few noise ordinances (and one about keeping your pets on a leash.) Whether you're hot for Ron Swanson, April Ludgate, or genuinely ready to take the biggest dick in Pawnee, courtesy of JerryGaryLarry, this episode has you covered. Hard Choices swept through all of the 80's cartoons you know and love to select the cream of the crop (and Allo from Dinosaucers) to make sure that this episode is peak after peak. You can expect Big Feels aplenty from Hub, Annie Craton, Meganbob, and host, Kris Newton, as they get vocal about Cobra Commander, Master Splinter, Gadget, and Krang. Never has a group of characters cried out so powerfully for us to ask "how good is the sex and what is it like?" and we can promise that you'll get some answers that will make you gasp, laugh, and maybe even rush to AO3 for a fanfic fix. In 1994, Disney's Gargoyles glided into the preteen hearts of the afternoon cartoon crowd, appealing to us in ways we wouldn't fully comprehend for years to come: its borrowings from Shakespeare, for example, and the unfamiliar yearning that Demona's loincloth made us feel. Nearly thirty years later, we are no longer children, and we have put away childish things in favor of podcasts about childish things. At last, we're ready to engage the undeniable horniness of this 90's cartoon and imagine what a night of passion with a gargoyle (or a Disney Afternoon delight with Elisa Maza) would be like. Get ready for Annie Craton, Kris Newton, Lilian Carlisle, and MeganBob to unleash decades of pent-up thirst for some of their most formative monsterfucks. The NXT Takeover that originally aired on February 11th, 2015 left Bob with some big feelings about wrestling. You arrive at the opulent podcast of Mr. MeganBob to find yourself surrounded by three of their most dubious acquaintances: Dan Mulkerin, Lillian Carlisle, and Kris Newton. Apparently, they've all been summoned to rank the fuckability of characters from the classic mystery board game (and cult film) Clue. However, something seems... off. These hosts are keeping secrets, and when foul play disrupts the evening, the suspects' stories don't quite add up. It's as though one or all of these shady podcasters are vile liars and murderers! Or perhaps MeganBob got busy this month during prime podcast recording time, and this episode is weird to compensate! Regardless, there's nothing we can do but act normally -- perv on Professor Plum, gush about Chef White, fall into horny rapture about doe-eyed subs who want to be pounced on -- and wait for the final summation to reveal who did it to MeganBob, where, and with what. Or at least which board game characters three nerds are hot for. The episode of NXT that originally aired on January 21st, 2015 didn't intend to teach us a new word, but in our defense, Afrikaans words are simpler to spell on an American keyboard than 'Coup de Grâce' is. The Tarot! The mystery and magic of life's journey have never been so adeptly captured in any other collection of cards, except maybe Yu-Gi-Oh. In this episode, three spirits penetrate the Tarot's mystery and make some magic as they rank the fuckability of the Major Arcana. Dan Mulkerin weaves tales of infuriatingly excellent and crushingly mediocre fucks; Kris Newton, safely deceased and heedless of privacy, interprets the cards in light of his personal sexual history; and MeganBob sacrifices their very brand to espouse the sexiness of earnest, responsible love. Most importantly, we've got part-time fortune-teller Kit Mulkerin (complete with part-time accent) to command the spirits with the big deck energy such a task demands. The NXT Wrestling Fan returns in roughly six weeks to tell the tale of Sami Zayn's journey through Golden Age NXT! In the meantime, we have to say goodbye to one of our very oldest friends here on the podcast. We also say hello to the new permanent (and familiar) co-host that will guide us through to the conclusion of The NXT Wrestling Fan. As we work to prepare the next arc of the show, you'll have 3-4 bonus episodes on the feed covering a bit of AEW and giving you plenty of wrestling hilarity to enjoy while waiting for the return of the regular show. Kris Newton and I are thrilled to be working on this and we can't wait to bring you Zayn's NXT story in the coming months! Halloween is just Valentine's Day for monsterfuckers, and a very horny Halloween it is too! To celebrate the bounty of the season, our hosts gathered up 21 of the most hair-raising horrors ever committed to screen and ranked their fuckability using the only hard science that really counts. MeganBob is joined by experienced monster-loving mavens Stella Cheeks and Lillian Carlisle, along with Kris Newton, who is only just beginning this journey towards being claimed by that which goes bump in the night. In their search for the median of monstrous fuckability, everyone learns about therapy-fucks, embracing the void, and who's a very good boy. Whether your taste runs to Hellraiser, The Shape of Water, or The Bride of Frankenstein, we promise that there's a monster here that you'll be down to do the monster mash with. So, download this episode, steal a couple of candies from the bowl, and hold on tight for an episode guaranteed to make all of your very sweetest nightmares come true. By the way, we have a Patreon! You know, when MeganBob suggested this episode, a lot of the other hosts thought they were joking. Not one to be discouraged, they found three erotic galaxy brains willing to make a "Rainbow Connection" with The Muppets. What on earth is going to happen when you get three impassioned Muppet fans together to try and find the median of Muppet f*ckability? Well, it goes a lot like an episode of The Muppet Show. Join James D'Amato, Kris Newton, Crys, and MeganBob on a quest to get "felt" up by every Muppet that's ever taken to the stage (and maybe some we found in the alley behind the theatre.) One of us makes the case for a Daddy Himbo Muppet, one of us is tentatively willing to blow up a building if the orgasm is good enough, and one of us is asking you to please not proposition them with a Janice puppet (wink wink.) Part amateur Masters and Johnson, part earnest love letter to the world of Jim Henson, part utter madness, this is an episode that can't really be explained. It can only be experienced. Welcome to a very timey wimey episode where we take the entire long history of the Doctor Who franchise and do to it what Jack Harkness only wishes he could. We gathered up 21 characters from a wide spread of old and new Who and sat down in our best fezes and converse to rank the fuckability of all that time and space had to offer in our attempt to find the median of fuckability in the Doctor Who universe. Thankfully, our companions were up to the task. Jaime Smith, Sharon Schneiderman, Kris Newton, and MeganBob tackled the important questions like how likely are you to end up buried alive? Is a Scottish accent enough? Just what kind of cute faces will some of these characters make? And how romantic can one fuck be before MeganBob has to hide under the bed? Pick your favorite room on the T.A.R.D.I.S and settle in for all of the scarf-tangled fucking you can possibly stand. And yes, this is a big episode, but we promise you, it's going to feel MUCH bigger on the inside. By the way, we have a Patreon! It may be too late in February for Valentine's Day, but it's never too late for Villaintine's Day. That's right, we brought together four "Poor Unfortunate Souls" and asked them to rank the fuckability of 21 villains from the Disney animated canon. All we can say is "Be Prepared" because we will not stop until we get to the median of fuckability. And what happens when you ask Kris Newton, Kit Mulkerin, Marissa, and MeganBob to brave the "Hellfire" in their deepest darkest hearts like this? Well, you find out about Jekyll & Hydes, who doesn't mind being beheaded, the perils of physical comedy in the bedroom, and just how getting down with Chernabog could maybe work? Merry Cagemas, gentle listeners, and welcome to the seventh annual Cage Match, presented by the largely (but not entirely) defunct Smash Fiction podcast! Four Nicolas Cage characters are set to do battle for the title of World Heavyweight Cage, and these particular Cages are among the most wretched and tragic in the notoriously eccentric actor's oeuvre! Has Kit finally found a Cage worthy of their strange devotion in the form of Johnny from Zandalee? Is Miles' somehow even more nihilistic interpretation of Pig enough to turn a chef into a champion? Can Claire actually remember what happened in Prisoners of the Ghostland? And will MeganBob fall from grace in defense of Seth from City of Angels, or soar to new heights on gilded wings? Or, you know, just start shipping everyone? Special guest judge Kris Newton presides as the SmashFic crew comes together once again to celebrate friendship, good cheer, and of course, bullshit. Cage bless us, every one!
This episode of Hard Choices has to be invited into your feed because this time Kris Newton, Kit Mulkerin, Claire Mulkerin, and MeganBob are ranking 21 of media's most interesting vampires. No amount of holy water or garlic will spare you from the intensity of these boners. Sure, many of these vampires might kill you rather than let you make the walk of shame back to your coffin, but that's a risk we're willing to take. How dangerous is Viago? What smells would we put up with from Cassidy? Is Santanico Pandemonium definitely going to make us into a snack? And most importantly, who is the true median of fanged fuckability? Hit that download button and leave your neck exposed, because this episode is guaranteed to leave bite marks. It's a momentous day here at The NXT Wrestling Fan! (Not just because it's Halloween, but also definitely because it's Halloween.) It took more than a year, but at long last, we are finally covering the episode of NXT that originally aired on January 1st, 2014. Which means that if you want to, you can watch the show along with us without subscribing to WWE Network and giving money to Vince McMahon. Now all you have to do is subscribe to Hulu! And, you know, give money to Disney. But let's be honest -- there's a much better chance you're already doing that. Highlights of this episode include: A 2/3 Falls Match that, shockingly, ends after only two falls Colin Cassady can sing, actually? Well folks, we did it. We've arrived at Episode #14, something Miles has been looking forward to since the early days of this podcast. Because now we get to cover the episode of NXT that originally aired on August 21, 2013, and the main event of that episode is the stuff of legend. NXT had already been getting acclaim for its presentation of the women's division, but this two-out-of-three falls match between Sami Zayn and Cesaro is what truly put NXT on the map, and became the standard by which everything that came afterward was judged. It is THE classic NXT match, and there's no better way to celebrate it than by bringing on fellow NXT enthusiast and the host of Megadumbcast, Kris Newton. We ask him some questions about his relationship with pro wrestling before getting into the episode, which includes: NXT's first (and only) AJ Lee match A merciless act of photobombing The 2/3 falls match between Zayn and Cesaro More fun with vampiric back rubs Wrestlers who are more agile than their body types indicate they have a right to be The 2/3 falls match between Zayn and Cesaro Also there's a hippie in the ring for some reason The 2/3 falls match between Zayn and Cesaro THE 2/3 FALLS MATCH BETWEEN ZAYN AND CESARO, NO, WE ARE NOT OVERSELLING THIS By the way, that is, in fact, our music! In the not-too-distant future (next Sunday A.D.), there is a guy named Joel, not too different from the hosts of this week's episode, in that he has recently been reading The King In Yellow. Or rather, watching a filmed production of The King In Yellow - the only one known to remain. See, Joel has spent years in space aboard the Satellite of Love thanks to the evil Dr. Forrester and his dimwitted assistant, Frank, who regularly subject Joel to the worst films they can find, FOR SCIENCE. But thanks to Joel's ingenious creation of the riffing robots Tom Servo and Crow, he and his mechanical buddies have resisted all efforts from "the Mads" to drive them over the mental edge, blasting cheesy B-movies apart with an endless supply of jokes and turning legitimately terrible scripts into satirical sketch comedy, much to the Forrester's chagrin. This movie is different, though. This is no poorly-acted financial flop featuring teenagers from outer space or a satanic Freddy Mercury. Since first coming to light via the short stories of Robert Chambers in 1895, The King In Yellow is a disturbing, sinister work of decadent nihilism that has a habit of driving those who read it into paranoia, delusion, sexual perversion, and violence. Its history is shrouded in the thick fog of the unknown; any knowledge of its origins and subsequent passage through the world has gone unrecorded, save for a few cases -- and the reliability of even those sources is questionable at best. Like the secret Lovecraftian horrors to which it provides humanity a brief, dreadful glimpse, it was never meant to be seen by mortal beings. Or, if it was, we must ask what sort of vile author would attempt to doom us all with such an act (well, two acts, actually). Can Joel and the Bots use their wit and riffing abilities to withstand the sanity-destroying effects of a movie that is not just bad, but that inflicts supernatural damage to the psyche while also being bad? Or will Hastur the Unspeakable (shit, sorry) lead them like puppets into the bleak realm of the Hyades and dim Carcosa? Kris Newton of the Gameable Podcast and MegaDumbCast returns to Smash Fiction to help us find out, and folks, he has come prepared. The Yelling Sign is found, the dreaded name of Monster a Go-Go is invoked, and at least one of our regular hosts goes insane by the end of opening arguments. Not upon us, oh King, not upon us! Far-Too-Late Disclaimer: Yeah, I'm afraid you definitely shouldn't have read that description, because while it may have seemed long-winded and banal, you now have no choice but to listen to this episode in full. We apologize for the impending insanity.
Welcome to episode 14 of the Women of the Military Podcast. Today’s guest is Kris Newton. Kris spent 14 years in the Air Force both active duty and Individual Mobilization Augmentee (IMA) in the reserve. When she got out, she earned my Bachelor of Science in Microbiology at Bowling Green State University. She has worked in Food Safety since until recently when she took a sales position that allows her to be her son's high school hockey team manager. Kris enlisted into the Air Force after high school. She had a twin sister and a half brother who was six months older than her and she knew her parents couldn’t afford to send three kids to college. She had debating on taking a year off and saving up money for college, but ended up joining the military instead. She had wanted to be part of the medical career field, but the job she wanted required a long wait before a spot would open up. Worried she would chicken out and not join the military if she had to wait so long, she enlisted without a job declared and ended up being assigned to Security Forces. Three years into her military service she was given the opportunity to cross train into a new job. She tried to get into the medical career field again, but was unsuccessful and instead cross trained to become a paralegal. While she was a paralegal she switched from active duty to an IMA. She joined the military to be able to pay for college and with her time and service and the GI Bill she was able to go to school and get her degree. The flexibility of the IMA program worked great with her college schedule and she was able to do things she hadn’t been a part of while on active duty. She talked about the struggle of being a military spouse and how she was looked at differently when she wasn’t in her uniform. She specifically talked about a struggle she had with housing where she was not given a chance to talk and only when her husband spoke the housing officer listened to the concerns. She was still serving in the military in the Reserves, but was assumed to be a spouse and was treated disrespectfully. Are you considering joining the military? Welcome back to Whelmed Reprints. It’s the Holiday Season here in the States so we’ll be taking time to spend with our families and to get ready for Season 3, premiering on January 4th, 2019. With Whelmed Reprints our team will be picking a few of our favorite episodes to bring to new listeners. Our third reprint happens to coincide with this weeks release of Misplaced in the Enhanced Episodes on DC Universe, in which you’ll hear me reference this specific two-parter. Kris Newton is the co-creator and host of the Gameable Saturday Morning podcast. Growing up, Saturday mornings were the highlight of my weeks. I would get up at 6:30 and ride out the mornings eating cereal and surfing between stations until almost noon. Of course, I also started playing roleplaying games like Dungeons and Dragons and the superhero RPG Champions in my pre and early teen years. When I heard there was a podcast that did Whelmed-style storytelling analysis on scores of my favorite shows and discussed adapting them to RPGs, I downloaded it immediately. Then, when we got the announcement about Season 3, Kris and I started talking about Gameable/Whelmed crossovers. Kris first came on the show to talk about gaming, but after that first interview we talked for at least an hour off-mic and I knew I had to have him back. Even knowing how insightful and brilliant Kris was, I didn’t expect this episode to be much more than a fun romp into Captain Marvel AKA: Shazam. I was so wrong. Kris took me on a psychological, mythological, spiritual, social, and mystical journey into the world of Billy Batson. Kris gave me so much information on so many topics that I’m compelled to listen to these episodes again and again to catch things I missed the first time around. If you are as fascinated by Captain Marvel’s role in Young Justice as we are, just wait until you hear Kris talk about the influence this foundational character had, and still has, on the comic industry. And of course, if you have access to the Enhanced Episodes, check out “Misplaced” which aired this week. You can hear Neal blow both our minds about something in the fight scene neither Emily nor I had picked up on, and watch me cry on camera to the ending. Glad that’s recorded for posterity. We hope you enjoy today’s double-length collection and your upcoming holiday season. Stay Whelmed everyone.
Gaming podcaster extraordinaire Kris Newton returns to discuss handling destiny in our games! Kris hosts two of our favorite podcasts: The Gameable Saturday Morning Podcast (neé Gameable Disney and Gameable Pixar) and the much-more-NSFW MegaDumbCast. He's been on several times before, just as we've all been on various episodes of Gameable, and we're delighted to have him back again. After catching up for a bit and hearing what Kris has been playing lately, we answer a spot-on Patreon question from Shawn Stauffer, who asks us to put together an adventuring party consisting entirely of Disney characters. That done, and our Scripture for this episode read, we go deep into the idea of "destiny" in traditional storytelling and in tabletop gaming. What are some different approaches for including it in our games? How can we maintain player autonomy and input while getting full value from this powerful and familiar story element? What purpose does a destiny serve in our stories or as a metagame tool? And how do we mechanically define a destiny, if we do so at all? Also mentioned in this episode: Steve Jackson Games's In Nomine RPG; the Machine of Death anthology; the Protean City Comics podcast; and Magpie Games's Masks RPG. Scripture: Deuteronomy 31:19-22, Isaiah 46:10, Jeremiah 1:4-5, 1 Corinthians 2:9-10
When the Polynesian trickster god Maui steals the golden apples of the Hesperides and the mighty Olympian demigod known as Hercules is sent to get them back, there's only one way to figure out who would win in a fight. And when you're doing a Smash Fiction match between Disney characters, there's only one guest host to call in: Kris Newton of Gameable and MegaDumbCast! Unfortunately, Kris' attempts at thinking are immediately lost in a sea of yelling, as arguments over animated films about the power of love and friendship become possibly more heated than they ever have before! Also, Claire dives deep into the realm of cartoon physics (which is to be expected), MeganBob joins in on the raised voices and name-calling (which is most assuredly not to be expected) and Dan unwitting unleashes horrors the human mind was not meant to consider in the Lightning Round!
Well, listeners, it's finally happened. It was inevitable, really. It was clear right from the beginning that one day, these events would occur. Most of us never believed in the prophecy, but here we are. Smash Fiction has finally, officially caught the slashfic bug (MeganBob is actually the disease's primary carrier, so yeah, should have seen that one coming). Not only that, but we've infected the Gameable Podcast with it, as well. Kris and Katrina had no choice but to return to our show once again, this time for a series of arguments that would be purely speculative if they weren't so completely obvious. Smash Fiction's pledge has always been to answer the big questions, and this week, we tackle one of the biggest there's ever been. If, in one room, you were to put James Tiberius Kirk captain of the U.S.S. Enterprise, and his first officer, Commander Spock, and in another room, you put Frodo Baggins and his faithful friend and gardener, Samwise Gamgee...which hypothetical dream couple would be the first to throw out their inhibitions and get busy? Will Kris use the sheer depth of his Lord of the Rings philosophy to defeat Dan's insistence on things like facts and evidence? Will Katrina realize her secret destiny as a wedding planner? Will MeganBob somehow be able to prevent herself from shipping other characters during this process? And how can Claire possibly make a decision between the two? At long last, the definitive answers to all these questions lie within your grasp...if, that is, your mind can survive the experience.

Today in the Cave, we have one of the hosts of Gameable Saturday Morning, Kris Newton. Kris is a freelance game designer in Northern California. Along with his wife, Katrina, Gameable Saturday Morning analyzes movies and animated series and mines them for roleplaying game story arcs, characters, and ideas. I was introduced to them through one of our listeners telling me about their deep-dive into Batman the Animated Series, and as we speak they are dedicating an entire month to Gargoyles! When Sunnydale's resident black magic hacker and Hogwarts' most accomplished arcane student both find themselves needing to track down the same spell, an eldritch confrontation between the two most fanfic'd witches of all time becomes inevitable! Forced to lead the Scooby Gang in their fight against the First Evil now that the Slayer, Buffy Summers, has mysteriously vanished (hopefully not with the intention of joining a "league," or some such), Willow Rosenberg finds an incantation that will seal the First Evil away forever. The only problem is, it's located in the long-lost (and apparently not actually destroyed) Library of Alexandria, and Willow will need all her powers of research, not to mention witchcraft, in order to acquire it. Actually, that's not her only problem. Her other problem is that across the Atlantic, Hermione Granger got tired of camping in the rain and waiting for Harry Potter, also known as The Boy Who Sulked, to come up with a plan to defeat Lord Voldemort. After managing to infiltrate the Hogwarts library, Hermione discovered the same spell and its location, and is fast at work using her magical abilities to go after it herself. When the two witches meet in the whispering halls of history's greatest library, who will make it out with the spell they need to vanquish their respective enemies? Which team of advocates will come out on top in the soon-to-be-legendary "Dark Willow Argument"? Who will take this week's unorthodox Lightning Round and somehow manage to make it sexy? (hint: not who you think) And what stygian, tenebrous horrors will we unleash on the world by bringing in Kris and Katrina of the Gameable Podcast for a non-Disney related episode?
This Sunday, it's a Wasteful Billionaires Network spectacular! Two children, hoping to become the rich and famous stars of a new precocious kid/adorable pet TV program...but only one contract! Their two pets, one a bizarre blue alien experiment named Stitch (presumably dressed like Elvis), the other a bonafide dragon named Toothless (presumably trained by Vikings)! One network backlot filled with things for them to (non-lethally) hit one another with! Two coaches, Lilo and Hiccup, on the sidelines! Four advocates, including Kris and Katrina of the Gameable Podcast, making their return to Smash Fiction! One judge, getting steadily more drunk due to a barrage of RPG references! Plasma breath weapons, sneak attack hamsters, botanical #DanLists, reptile anatomy! The Battle of the Friendship Monsters! This Sunday, only on the Wasteful Billionaires Network!
Welcome to the jungle, we've got fun and games! Following a mysterious sign from above, Shere Khan, the most feared predator in all of India, has left his usual hunting grounds and set his sights on becoming the new king of the Serengeti. But of course, the land's present ruler, King Simba, might just have something to say about that! It's the ultimate battle of the big cats, a fight of fur and fang and feline fury! Will Simba's lion judo prove a match for Khan's tiger aikido? Do resplendent stripes trump a glorious mane? And are there no limits to Miles' complete ignorance of all things animal-related? Find out on this Disney-centric episode of Smash Fiction, featuring a surprise appearance from (gasp) Kris Newton of the Gameable Podcast!
Monstropolis is in crisis again, as its connection to the human world has begun to fray! To solve the problem, Monsters Inc. has sent its top agents, Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan, on a journey to the most terrifying place on Earth...Florida. Unfortunately, after a lucky tourist manages to take a snapshot of the two monsters, they find themselves hunted by the FBI's most eccentric and relentless truth-chasers, Fox Mulder and Dana Scully. Special guest advocates Kris Newton and Katrina Ehrnman-Newton of the Gameable Podcast join the Smash Fiction crew to find out if Mike and Sulley can complete their mission before Mulder and Scully turn them into undeniable proof that the truth is out there.
Kris and Katrina, hosts of the Gameable Pixar Podcast (formerly the Gameable Disney Podcast) join Grant and Peter in a special crossover episode on breaking established setting canon! Gameable Pixar just released a pair of episodes discussing The Prince of Egypt, and they invited Peter and Grant to join them in the second episode. They return the favor in this episode, where we discuss how to break canon in settings with high player investment—from Tolkien's Middle-Earth to Biblical Egypt, Israel and Caanan. If you want to give the Gameable Podcast a try, we suggest picking your favorite Disney or Pixar film and listening to Kris and Katrina discuss it in the relevant episode! They also particularly recommend their episodes on The Black Cauldron and The Nightmare Before Christmas as introductory episodes for interested gamers. To pick up with The Prince of Egypt, start with GPP's Bonus Episode 9: The Prince of Egypt and follow up with Bonus Episode 10: The Prince of Egypt Discussion. They're also on Twitter and iTunes. Also mentioned in this episode: Electric City ComiCon; StoryWonk's Dusted podcast; and an awful lot of superheroes. Scripture: Isaiah 55:8-11, Jeremiah 23:28-30, Matthew 23:13-15, Romans 15:4
