We know Saturday nights and 'UFC' go together and this weekend we had 'UFC on ESPN+ 46'. On this card, four fighters REALLY stood out, because the performance they put out was great, but in themselves, they seemed completely rejuvenated. Court McGee and Ben Rothwell both looked like early versions of themselves, but better still. We saw the best version of Norma Dumont Viana we've seen in the Octagon. And you'd never have recognised this Jared Vanderaa from the one who debuted at 'UFC on ESPN+ 43'. We had finishes on the card, as David Dvořák scored a first round rear naked choke, Bruno Silva landed an atomic right hand. And in the Co-main, Carla Esparza put on the type of dominant display, (resulting in a second round TKO) that was the perfect calling card for a title shot! AND, in the Main Event, Rob Font pretty much had flawless coming out party. Even in the first round where he was taken down numerous times, he could never be held. His jab was a piston and now the division definitely knows dem Cartel boyz ain't messing aroundp‼️ And as Steve Jobs would say "and one last thing", cause we had 'Submission Underground 23' on Sunday. Straight out the gate Aaron Tiegs let cats know what type of night this would be. Nicholas Maximov also demonstrated just what slick looked like. And if you didn't know the name Raquel Canuto well, hope you were paying attention. We saw what happens when Richie Martinez ain't bout that smiley ish And anyone who didn't realise Carlos Condit had a ground game, they better take note! Team TORO (Anthony Birchak & Deon Clash) challenged Team SAC (Cris Lencioni & Owen Papworth) for the SUG Tag Team World Championship in a fun arse match. AND then, Mason Fowler & Kyle Chambers went at it. When the dust settled, Fowler is still head of the SUG household So, let's break it all down, in today's (ep 192b) @ChinCheckPod - UFC on ESPN+ 46: Font vs Garbrandt - Submission Underground 23 *(Music) 'Lose My Mind' (Feat. We discussed Josh's and activity as of late against top Grapplers at 185 lb and how this factors into our decision. In Nicky Ryan vs Gabriel Almeida We talked about this as a showcase opportunity to see more from Nicky Ryan's game and how potentially we could see a return to form from some of his adolescent matches where he was quick to set up submissions. In Jessa Khan vs Pati Fontes discuss the recent tough run that Fontes has has been faced with and how a rematch with Khan potentially will spell more of the same we discussed Jessa’s recent performances against Bastos and how good she has looked as of late.In Johnatha Alves vs Oliver Taza We discussed how pacing and decision-making may play a huge factor in how this match ends up especially if it goes to decision. Friday's 'Legacy Fighting Alliance' was a great aperitif for Saturday's action, especially considering 'LFA 105' had two Strawweight fights on the card! Tabatha Ricci continued her rise, with a solid second round stoppage of the extremely game Shawna Ormsby. And the night finished with Piera Rodriguez gaining the vacant Strawweight title. In a fight that was closer than a five o'clock shadow! AND, Canaan Kawaihae made quick work of his Co-main promotional debut, with a slick arse ninja choke Saturday night had the most stacked card of the year so far, in 'UFC 261'. There were great fights from the opening, BUT, our three title fights REALLY didn't disappoint, everyone had something different and left you flabbergasted There was a thought that if anyone could topple the bullet, Jéssica Andrade was the woman to do it. Valentina Shevchenko though went 'Blueprint 2' and was like "I'll show you how to do this son", cause her skills be a one of one, that means none before it, none to come!!! In the Strawweight fight we were expecting some dazzle, BUT Rose Namajunas brought the BANG Just a minute in she hit a front foot head kick that was perfectly placed for some sweet chin music.....AndNew AND then, the talk coming in was what can happen on a full camp. The answer, staight devastation!!! Kamaru Usman showed that those fists are anything but pillows. He sprang forward quicker than a viper and laid a right cross that would have floored a rhino The weekend was brought to a close by 'Submission Underground 22' and what we learnt from this fun filled card was...... Zack Schneider is a slick SOB, BUT, you can not give Andrew Alexander an inch, cause he will f@&k you up! Kyle Chambers game is so advanced, Neo refused to face him. His heel hook entry was smoother than a Tesla's acceleration It's a shame to see Ben Egli retire from grappling, but can't wait to see his rise in MMA! And Mason Fowler doesn't care what you come at him with, cause he's gonna choke you regardless! So, let's break it all down, in today's (ep 179) @ChinCheckPod - LFA 105: Rodriguez vs. Gotsyk - UFC 261: Usman vs. Masvidal 2 - Submission Underground 22 *(Music) 'All the Way Up' (feat. Infared, French Montana) by Fat Joe - 2017 --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/eftv/message
We'd lost some big names, so 'UFC 260' was just ten fights, BUT, it held it down on Saturday night! Four decisions, two submissions and four KO's, people. Marc-André Barriault got things popping with a dominant third round finish with FOUR seconds left in the fight! After being stopped with it in his last fight, Alonzo Menifield brought the Prelims home with a quick 'Von Flue Choke'. The Main card opened up with fireworks, as Jamie Mullarkey took care of business like someone was after him. In and out in under a minute. Now, there were questions for Sean O'Malley going into his fight....which he answered with aplomb The utilisation of range was superb and even after a misstep meant he didn't get a first round finish, we didn't see O'Malley rush or get sloppy. and he finished with a stylish third round exclamation point! In the Co-main, we finally got to see the old Tyron Woodley. He came out with a renewed fire that was great to see. BUT, Vicente Luque is no joke. You can't just hurt a coyote, cause that's when it's super dangerous. So even with Luque being hurt, he was able to turn it around and get the 'D'arce Choke' finish AND, people, the 'Biggest, Baddest, Rematch' was the straight up truth. Francis Ngannou showed a growth and evolution that we'd heard was there, but hadn't seen in the Octagon. Once he stuffed the first takedown attempt, you knew something special was going to happen. Stipe Miocic went out like a champion, but right now, we could be entering a new era....AndNew So, how do you top that, well Heather Standing teased it last Friday and damn did Chael's 'Submission Underground' deliver the goods Sunday night!!! 'SUG 21' #SUG21 opened with 'don't blink' moment from Aaron Tiegs. Cause Andrew Sidelinger was doing everything right, until the game got switched and Tiegs pulled off a slick 'Arm Triangle'. The Prelims ended in style with Kyle Chambers vs Chase Davis. And Chambers really did his thing, enough so, to warrant Dana telling Chael to dish out some cheques The Tag Team match had a team member sub a team member lol Andy Varela locked up his biggest challenge with a great win. And in the Co-main Amanda Loewen again stands tall, dominant and still the 'Women's Absolute Champion'. And Mason Fowler did it again, retains the belt and mangles more dreams. So, let's break it all down, in today's (ep 167) @ChinCheckPod - UFC 260: Miocic vs. N'Gannou 2 - Submission Underground 21 *(Music) 'My life' by Styles P & Pharoahe Monch - 2002 --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/eftv/message

The Mineral Rights Podcast: Mineral Rights | Royalties | Oil and Gas | Matt Sands
I'm really excited about this week's episode because we have two really interesting guests lined up for you. Kyle Chambers and Joey Falbo with Texas Quality Assurance LLC join Justin and I to teach us about quality management and why everyone needs to know what it is. In fact, Kyle and his wife Darci host a podcast called the #QualityMatters Podcast where they talk all about quality management and ways to make your life easier at work and at home. This was a really interesting conversation as we dive deep into how quality management is really important when drilling a well. Joey tells a few stories from his experience working in the field around things like inspecting drilling equipment and why this is so critical in making sure a wells is drilled safely and on-time. This is important to us as mineral owners because if the operator has an equipment failure that causes them to have to plug the well and it may never get repaired and completed. If the well never produces oil and gas, we don't get paid royalties. Resources: I had the pleasure of being a guest on the #QualityMatters Podcast in Episode 70 where we talk about the importance of Continuous Improvement during the downturn in the oil & gas industry and some of my experience with continuous improvement at Shell. This week's episode is from a presentation given by Kyle Chambers at the ASQ 1422 Christmas dinner. We all know QMS stands for Quality Management System, but we far too often neglect the System and focus too strongly on Quality Management. Habits play a vital role in the development of a System. We use an example of the "Tricky Triangle" and if you've ever been to Cracker Barrel, you know what I'm talking about. It is such a simple game, but wow can be hard to solve. However, once you've solved it a few times, it can be done in less than a minute. This problem solving game requires both skills from repeated operation (Habit) and critical thinking. These lessons can and aught be applied to our corporate training processes. For example, a landscape company that has a high rework rate might benefit from a simple lay down yard to test on and train their team on. Another example could be the crowded 50 or more people strong training events that might be better served in small groups. It is a balance act no doubt, to balance the needs of the individual with the needs of the budget. Thank you again to ASQ Section 1422 for inviting us out. It is always a pleasure and honor. This week on the podcast we have a very special guest. Our guest has a black belt in karate, has been all over North America competing in the sport, and has won a pile of medals doing it. Not only that, Kyle Chambers has turned his love for his sport into a new passion in the form of a podcast KC's Sports Talk. Kyle has done so much, and he’s only 19-year-old, and has cerebral palsy. SHOUT OUTS First shout out goes to the Port Dover Pirates peewee rep team. This is the only rep team in Port Dover, and they are having a great run so far in the OMHA playdowns. With a 5-1 win at home Sunday, the Pirates sweep the Cayuga Stars to move on to the third round of the OMHA peewee DD playdowns. They will now take on the winner of the Plattsville and St. George series. Next shout out goes to the Delhi Travellers goalies, Raine Steadman and Luca DelRizzo. These two guys have had more rubber than probably any other goalie in junior hockey this winter. Despite the Travellers allowing 555 goals with only a handful of games left, these guys have done everything they could possibly do to help their team. What’s it take to get ISO 9001 Certified? Darci and Kyle Chambers host of #QualityMatters podcast are discussing a blog post Kyle publish discussing what it takes to ''Get'' ISO and details about each step in the process. GAP Analysis – This is a short audit intended to gauge where you are, what your business processes look like, and make a plan to get you certified and compliant to your customer and regulatory requirements Consultation – We will be with you step by step, every procedure, every form to make sure you’re headed in the right direction. Internal Audit – Similar to the GAP Analysis the Internal Audit is a full assessment for your entire Quality System, and will be conducted annually to verify conformance, identify gaps and needs for corrective action. Management Review – We will develop the management review together and present it to the entire management team as a formal method of assessing the suitability of the Quality Management System to meet internal and external needs. During the review the results of the Internal Audit are reviewed and assessed as well. Stage 1 Audit – This will be your first 3rd Party Audit, and a Registrar (an organization accredited to perform certification audits) will come and perform what most call a “readiness review” to assess how well you’re implementing the requirements of ISO 9001. Generally this is a 1-2 day audit. If nonconformities are identified, you will be required to issue a Corrective Action and resolve these nonconformities before the stage 2 audit. Stage 2 Audit – This is your official “Certification Audit”. The same registrar will visit again about 4-6 weeks after the Stage 1 Audit to conduct a full audit to assess your compliance to all aspects of ISO 9001. If nonconformities are identified, you will be required to issue a Corrective Action and resolve these nonconformities before the certification can be issued. You will usually have 30-60 days to resolve any nonconformities. Certification – Generally you will receive your certification about 4-6 weeks after the Stage 2 audit, it takes time to get all of the appropriate sign offs on their end. https://texasqualityassurance.com/iso-9001-steps-certification/ If you are interested in more information about what Texas Quality Assurance can do for you, or how you can have an auditor on site for a QMS Assessment to get started, just contact Darci or Kyle directly, or feel free to comment or leave a review.
