The knowledge base build to undertake this project has included using High Performance Academy (HPA) course materials, engaging in practical work, and consulting with specialists on their own level.Using quality electronics like the EMtron KV8 ECU, MoTeC C127 dash, and Power Distribution Module (PDM), alongside a comprehensive array of engine and chassis sensors, Darren, with the help of Benchmark Solutions trackside dial in the car from multiple angles over the race weekend. We'll need to get together this morning for some discussion.  I'm apparently getting a new credit card - new bank partner.  When I do, I want you to go ahead and make those reservations for Washington Watch.  Blast this week! I have had a schedule change on a doctor's appointment today and I don't know if I'll get done fast enough to be at the WCC announcement.  I'm still going to try but it'll be close.  Talking to Nick Levandowski on spring chick issues this morning, and Pete Kappelman from LOL about Farm Bill issues they're watching and concerned about.Tomorrow I've got a paid client interview with Purina.REMEMBER - we need to combine audio for our B&B tomorrow morning.  2 voices - tell me what you envision.  We can just tag the actual World Winner and not really worry about a lot of audio specifically around that.Clips with Matt Tranel attached. For farm gals, or any woman that appreciates rural Wisconsin - it's time to take a break.  Before spring planting kicks into gear and the kids are out of school, the community of Plover is offering Savor & Sow - a weekend agventure retreat.  Pam Jahnke talks to organizer, Malorie Paine, about why they developed the option and who they partnered with. There's more to judging cheese than meets the eye.  Jill Allen is a cheese judge that came from Tillamook Cheese in Oregon to help at the World Champion Cheese event.  She says she cleanses her palate between samples with sparkling water, but every judge is different.  She also says it doesn't take her long sampling an entry before she knows if it's a winner.Wisconsin, of course, is hoping for the title at the world event.  Steve Stetler would love to see that.  He's a Master Cheesemaker at Decatur Dairy in Brodhead and his Muenster curds topped the Open Class at the event.  He talks to Charitee Seebecker about why the event's so special. They may not officially be in session, but work continues on policy that could impact agriculture.  Stephanie Hoff gets an overview with Jordan Lamb from the Welch Group on where she's channeling her energy. Matt Tranel from EverAg in Platteville joins Pam Jahnke for an update on what news is driving dairy markets. Buyers are sitting still with these lower prices, and dairy producers should be signing up for a guaranteed payback on the Dairy Margin Coverage Program.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The Pro Motocross Championship is about to close out at the 2023 Ironman Motocross, an action-packed weekend that will kick off with the announcement of Team USA for the Motocross of Nations. Although the Americans are the defending champions of the Chamberlain Cup and will run numbers one, two, and three when they go to France in October, putting the team together has been a challenge. Yes, interest in the race is at an all-time high after last year's victory on home soil at RedBud, and multiple OEMs have pledged their time and resources, but sending the exact same lineup as last year is not possible due to Eli Tomac's ongoing recovery from an Achilles injury, Justin Cooper's long-planned wedding which lands on the same weekend, and Chase Sexton's upcoming switch from Honda to KTM. And that's why AMA Director of Racing Mike Pelletier had to push the team's lineup declaration from its usual date at Unadilla, to the finale at Ironman. He and managing partner Roger DeCoster have spent the better part of the summer working out scenarios for Ernee, a complicated matter considering the time some candidates were missing with injuries, the extended season for SuperMotocross, and the numerous rider-team changes that will happen in October. Here's what we do know ahead of the official announcement. Aaron Plessinger is a lock. At third place, the Red Bull KTM rider is the highest-ranking American in the 450 Class championship standings, and he has not finished outside the top ten once this summer. Eager for redemption after the RedBud mud in 2018, expect AP to be the Open Class pick. Chase Sexton, the only available rider from last year's lineup, is down to go, and could use the race as his debut on the Red Bull KTM. Team Honda HRC has offered support to Sexton through the race, as they'll be backing the Lawrence brothers for Team Australia, but we've been told that Sexton would like to get on the orange bike as soon as possible. Sexton's involvement was said to motivate and determine Haiden Deegan's participation. The Monster Energy/Star Racing/Yamaha rider has been impressive as a rookie, and making the MXON his first race overseas would be a big draw for both the team and the event, but we've learned that the teenager and the group around him may opt-out after a long year that started in the Supercross Futures class. The MX2 rider is often crucial to a team's overall score, and this year, it sounds like the group favors dropping a willing and experienced 450 Class rider down to the small-bore bike, rather than picking among the other Americans in the 250 Class. Justin Barcia is the most likely candidate. The Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull/GASGAS Factory Racing rider has been on Team USA a few times already, including 2015 in Ernee. Cooper Webb is another possibility, but it sounds like his current focus is getting up to speed on the YZ450F ahead of the SMX rounds. An added benefit of these two is that if Chase Sexton decides not to go after all, either Barcia or Webb could step up to the MXGP spot and run the number one plate. Here's my interview with Mike Pelletier from last Friday at Budds Creek, where he explained some of the obstacles faced this summer and the importance of unifying Team USA.

This 1100KG 900HP SR20 powered Nissan S15 Silvia was easy to pick from the crowd as one of the standouts at the latest World Time Attack Challenge as not just being good from afar, but even more exceptional upon closer inspection.Use ‘PODCAST75' for $75 off your first HPA course here: https://hpcdmy.co/hpa-tuned-inOwner and builder Charles Warland took some time out on race day to chat to us about the Dream Projects S15 Silvia build including some of the reasoning behind its 2.2L SR20VE power plant over other options like the RB which Charles is also familiar with via his RB260Z build. Sitting 51mm back from its original location as per the Open Class rules, the SR20 runs the Nissan P12 Primera head and a billet block to produce 900HP from 34 PSI of boost via a BorgWarner EFR 9174. PMC Race Engines have been on board with this great package, and internally CP-Carrillo pistons, a Kelford Cam and Nitto 2.2L stroker kit handle the beating flawlessly which is an impressive feat for a new build and testament to the quality of the build.Charles also discusses why the GT Auto Garage prepped S15 uses a smaller turbo than what it could handle, and how Time Attack design legion Barry Lock (Of MCA Hammerhead and Mighty Mouse CRX fame) planned the build with Charles along every step of the way to make sure things were done right and done once in regards to chassis and aero setup. Driving the car to 3rd place in the Open Class with a time of 1:29.174 was FWD lap record holder Rob “Mighty Mouse” Nguyen who will be looking to crack that 1:28 mark in the RWD next time around we're sure.At just under 1100KG with 1000KG of downforce at 180kph the SR20 setup is certainly pulling its weight to keep momentum. With that said, a focus on the overall balance of the car and not just outright power it is well capable of the task and the change in rear suspension from a multi-link setup to a double-wishbone one helps ensure traction is maintained where required via the Hollinger RD6 sequential gearbox. A good range of sensors have been fitted for data logging purposes and with the help of the MoTeC M150, PDM30, and C127 dash help dial the car in to achieve faster and faster lap times.Want to learn how to tune EFI?
