I had a conversation recently with some folks on a radio show about home invasion. They made the same mistake many people do, assuming they know what they don't know. Let's talk about that tonight and how you can prepare for a home invasion effectively while avoiding the Fudd. Joe Biden establishes the Office of gun violence prevention that definitely won't be coming after your guns!. Headed by Vice President Kamala Harris, Greg Jackson, the executive Director of the community justice action fund and everytown for gun safety's Rob Wilcox. NATURALLY. U.S. District Court Judge Roger T. Benitez blocked California's ban on ammunition magazines holding more than ten rounds on Friday. He stayed the decision for a couple of weeks because more is probably coming!. Initially developed by Larry Vickers, and expand upon by Ken Hackathorn, The Test is scored in two ways, The Vickers method, and the Hackathorn method. The Vickers method is pretty simple; land each shot into the black circle of the B8, with a 1-second penalty for each hit out of the black, and a 3-second penalty for each hit off of the paper. Passing score using this method is being under the par time of 10 seconds, including penalties. The Hackathorn method is a point based system. Hits in the X and 10 ring are 10 points, hits in the 9 ring are 9 points, 8 ring hits are 8 points, and 7 ring hits are 7 points. Passing score with the Hackathorn method is 90 points or 90% of the possible score. Rounds that land on the circular ring line score up, being a "breaking the line" point. When shooting The Test with a handgun that holds less than ten rounds, scale the par time and score minimum down. For example, a 7 round gun has a 7 second par time, with a 63 point passing score. In this episode, Stan and Mike talk with Larry Vickers of Vickers Tactical.  They talk about Larry's history, his training, his new line of books and his new limited Vickers Tactical Glock that is coming out soon.   Larry Vickers of Vickers Tactical is a retired US Army 1st SFOD- Delta combat veteran with years of experience in the firearms industry as a combat marksmanship instructor and industry consultant. In recent years he has hosted tactical firearms related TV shows with the latest being TacTV of which Bravo Company is a presenting sponsor. Larry Vickers special operations background is one of the most unique in the industry today.  He has been directly or indirectly involved in some of the most significant special operations missions of the last quarter century. During Operation "Just Cause" he participated in Operation Acid Gambit – the rescue of Kurt Muse from Modelo Prison in Panama City, Panama. As a marksmanship and tactics instructor while on active duty, he helped train special operations personnel that later captured Saddam Hussein and eliminated his sons Uday and Qusay Hussein. In addition he was directly involved in the design and development of the HK416, for Tier One SOF use, which was used by Naval Special Warfare personnel to kill Osama Bin Laden. Larry Vickers has developed various small arms accessories with the most notable being his signature sling manufactured by Blue Force Gear and Glock accessories made by Tangodown.
