In a sobering yet hope-filled message titled “Satan's Trophy Room,” Bro. Georgeon Pedigo warns that it's not how you start the race of faith that matters most—it's how you finish. Preaching from 1 Samuel 31, he recounts the tragic downfall of King Saul, a man anointed, gifted, and full of promise, yet ultimately taken out by compromise, fear, and disobedience. Like a hunter's trophy mounted on the wall, Saul's life became a display of defeat in the enemy's collection. With vivid imagery and powerful biblical examples, Bro. Pedigo exposes how the enemy works subtly—through discouragement, offense, temptation, and distraction—to derail believers who once burned brightly for God. Yet this message is not one of despair—it's a call to perseverance. Using the transformation of Saul of Tarsus into the Apostle Paul as a shining example, he declares that no matter your failures or how you began, God's grace can rewrite your ending. Whether you feel distant from God, caught in the motions of church life, or wounded by the past, “Satan's Trophy Room” will challenge you to press on, continue steadfastly, and finish the race with faith intact. In a stirring and convicting message titled “The Gospel's Fire Brigade,” Bro. Georgeon Pedigo challenges us to shake off spiritual complacency and answer the urgent call of the gospel. Drawing from Jude 1:17–23, he reminds us that we live in the last days—days when comfort can lull the church to sleep while souls are perishing in the fire. With vivid illustrations and heartfelt urgency, Bro. Pedigo urges believers to earnestly contend for the faith, extend compassion to the broken, and reach into the flames to rescue those in danger. He likens the gospel to a siren—sometimes inconvenient to our routines, but life-saving to those in crisis—and calls us to be more than passive hearers: to become God's rescue team in a world desperate for hope. This isn't just a sermon—it's a wake-up call. Whether you feel distant from God or burning with zeal, “The Gospel's Fire Brigade” will reignite your passion for souls and renew your commitment to live on mission for Christ. In a powerful and hope-filled message titled “A Dead Man's Victory,” Bro. Georgeon Pedigo invites us to rediscover the life-changing power of repentance and restoration. Preaching from Joshua 7, he paints a vivid picture of Israel's unexpected defeat at Ai—and the hidden sin that robbed them of victory. But he doesn't stop there. With compelling storytelling, from World War II deception plots to the lies of the enemy, Bro. Pedigo reminds us that the devil loves to label us by our failures—but God has already called us fearfully and wonderfully made. Through repentance, the old identity dies, and the enemy is left clinging to something that no longer exists. What once set you aside for destruction can become the very testimony that sets you apart for victory. This message is a rallying cry to let go of shame, silence the accuser, and walk boldly toward the peace, joy, and purpose God has promised. Whether you feel stuck in defeat or on the edge of breakthrough, “A Dead Man's Victory” will stir your faith, break chains of condemnation, and call you back into step with the God who always wins. “I'd watch the deer, how they would interact with the cows and turkeys and, you know, other animals. I've always been a keen observer of nature. That started young. West Texas born artist Hayden Pedigo wields a broad defining axe in the world of music, art and human expression. Having been home-schooled and raised in a rather religious enviroment in his youth, Pedigo not only had to search high and low for his passions and interests, but bridge a tremendous gap that would eventually connect him to the outside world of music and like minded people. Having gained nation-wide attention through his unique campaign runnning for City Council back in 2018, Pedigo has recently signed with Mexican Summer, giving him the oppurtnity to tour, play live shows for the first time and doing something he thought he never would. Pedigo has one hell of a story and on this episode of the podcast we break through some of those realms. Enojy!

Many nurses practicing today entered healthcare knowing they absolutely wanted to be a nurse. But Derick Pedigo's journey was different. Starting as an EMT and observing the nurses in the Emergency Department, he said, “I want to do that.” When he didn't get into the program the first time, he decided to go the LVN route. Working as an LVN with very sick renal patients, he learned valuable skills to propel him further in his quest to be an RN. And now, he's a new nurse with a LOT of experience, which only makes him a better one. His advice for those on the same journey? If you have a passion for something, just keep going, it's worth it. Emileena and Rebecca discuss the value of creativity. Plant medicines and psychedelics celebrate and cultivate the creativity within us. Creativity is often discouraged or devalued in society and those who have this particular talent are often guided away from pursuing it professionally. However, most of the products that benefit us originated from someone's creativity, so if we limit creativity to a small category of people, we do so to our own detriment. It's understood that solving problems creatively can be beneficial so it's no wonder that medicines cultivate this in us – this secret super power. Studies show that we use more of our brains when we're thinking creatively and studies show that we're using our minds creatively when we're in these altered states. We discuss the benefits of creativity and how it shows up in our lives. Plant medicines often teach us how we are creating our experience and how we can create our lives differently to our benefit. Because creativity is a natural part of us, it's an act of self love to recognize this and to use it.

Welcome to another episode of the Magic Hour Podcast! We are super excited to have you with us on the show today. Tao expert Emileena Pedigo discusses Tao and how you can use it to bring calm into your life.Despite growing up in Bay Area, California, during the dot.com and tech boom that birthed many Silicon Valley professionals, Emileena followed her passion for the arts, insisting on maintaining her own path in the creative industry. She started off in the NYC art scene producing an international theater festival, working with artists from around the world hungry to get their work into the theater capital of the world. She worked with many award-winning producers on several Broadway shows. In the process, she found herself stuck inside a self-perpetuating system of exploitation, witnessing many artists losing the fight. She would have been lost as well if it hadn't been for a trip to a Peruvian ayahuasca retreat. When she returned, she discovered a solution that she believes belongs in the world: a paradigm shift that begins with one artist at a time. She calls it the sustainability cycle (exploration, inclusion, and evolution). This is her art.Emileena Pedigo went on to found “Show Goes On Productions,” where she helps artists and creatives find connection and sustainability in their lives using the practice of Tao. In this podcast episode, Emileena shares her life-altering experience in Peru and how it helped her connect deeply with the Tao religion. She shares how Tao has helped her maintain balance, relieve stress, and ultimately live a life of gratitude and how you, too, can find peace and balance with religion. Her book “ANOTHERWAY” compassionately dissects the exploited artist to build sustainability in the arts.Ready to live a sustainable life? Then don't miss this episode!
