In a sobering yet hope-filled message titled “Satan's Trophy Room,” Bro. Georgeon Pedigo warns that it's not how you start the race of faith that matters most—it's how you finish. Preaching from 1 Samuel 31, he recounts the tragic downfall of King Saul, a man anointed, gifted, and full of promise, yet ultimately taken out by compromise, fear, and disobedience. Like a hunter's trophy mounted on the wall, Saul's life became a display of defeat in the enemy's collection. With vivid imagery and powerful biblical examples, Bro. Pedigo exposes how the enemy works subtly—through discouragement, offense, temptation, and distraction—to derail believers who once burned brightly for God. Yet this message is not one of despair—it's a call to perseverance. Using the transformation of Saul of Tarsus into the Apostle Paul as a shining example, he declares that no matter your failures or how you began, God's grace can rewrite your ending. Whether you feel distant from God, caught in the motions of church life, or wounded by the past, “Satan's Trophy Room” will challenge you to press on, continue steadfastly, and finish the race with faith intact. The Rush Hour Melbourne Catch Up - 105.1 Triple M Melbourne - James Brayshaw and Billy Brownless
After a wild-weather day in Melbourne, Billy kicks the show off with the All Sports Report, as a Saints and Crows champion calls it a day. James Brayshaw does us the courtesy of calling into his own show to chat about the First Test, and what he's been up to while Billy and Lehmo have been holding the fort. Luke and Dave battle it out in the Hump Day Quiz, then Billy takes us through a mistake he made with an Olympian. Lehmo's List features the greatest sporting injuries sustained through celebrations, then we catch up with our Team Brownless Golfing Winners, who spent today at the Australian Open Pro-Am. Seven-Time World Surfing Champion Layne Beachley calls in to talk about her new book, and gives us a guided our of her Trophy Room. Finally, Billy has a joke about Little Johnny.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
My guest today on the Online for Authors podcast is Karina Kantas, author of the book Illusional Reality (Duology). Karina is the bestselling author of 14 titles covering most fiction genres, including thriller novels and young adult fiction, many of which have won awards. She's also an award-winning filmmaker and has won numerous awards for her documentary and short films at International Film Festivals. (You can find them in the Trophy Room.) She's also a BookTuber, podcaster and radio host and runs Author Assist to help independent authors with promoting and marketing their books. In my book review, I stated Illusional Reality (Duology) is the two-book fantasy romance series. Both books start on earth but quickly take us to an enchanted realm in which Becky is known as Thya and happens to be a princess. Her parents, the rulers at her birth, whisked her away to earth to keep her safe. But now it is time for her to return and save Tsinia from the evil prince bent on domination. Becky turned Thya has to figure out a new world, the laws that govern the land, an unusual way of speaking, and her own magical abilities - plus her attraction to someone she is forbidden to love. The book moves quickly and kept me guessing at what would happen next. And although the ending of book two (The Quest) wrapped up nicely, Karina left room for more. Who knows! There could be a book three in the future! Which has fans worried about whats to come and whether or not they should jump to PC. Joe and Kyle talk about their time with Astro Bot on PS5 and whether reviews are right that say this ps5 game is a 10/10 mario killer game of the year GOTY contender or not.
