I'm today's episode, I will review the AFC North divisional match-up between the Ravens and Bengals. Their prior divisional game ended in heartbreak, as the Ravens back up QB Tyler Huntley made the biggest mistake of his career that would cost the Ravens the game. However, this time around Lamar's two touchdown game would help him improve to a 7-1 record against the Bengals. I will briefly preview upcoming match up against the Colts. All this and more on another episode of SCWD.Join me on Instagram @sportschatwithdeejay!!

What's up everyone? The boys are back in the studio tonight to recaps Sunday's game which featured the Ravens and the Indianapolis Colts duking it out in a battle of 5-2 teams. Baltimore of course came out victorious, though victory looked like an extremely dicey proposition following a listless first half. In the second, Lamar Jackson and the offense pulled it together to put their team on top and stay there for a resounding 24-10 win. Things have been tough for the Ravens for the past few weeks, but this game felt like the most convincing statement in a while. Jake and Spencer will of course be touching on that and much more, as the season rolls onto the second half of 2020 (can you believe that?). It was a really weird day for the Ravens in Indianapolis...but they won on the road, convincingly, despite injuries and bizarre circumstances throughout the week leading up to the game. That's noteworthy. We discussed that to start the show then dished out our "Pats on the Ass" for the game and recapped a brutal week for EVERYONE when it comes to NFL picks. Late in Hour 1, NFL Network reporter Stacey Dales checked in with us after she covered Ravens/Colts yesterday to discuss the win and Dez Bryant's return to the field. Early in Hour 2, CBS' Evan Washburn joined us after he worked yesterday's game-he has a better feel for who the Ravens are (and need to be) moving forward. After that we caught up with Ravens running back Gus Edwards to discuss the big win, a rare fumble, Mark Andrews' insane block and why expects they'll go up tempo more. And at the bottom of Hour 2, 105.7 The Fan's Jeremy Conn checked in to discuss Ravens/Colts, Maryland's emergence and Mo Gaba getting a street named after him.

And can Brady better exploit Saints D second time around? -- Seahawks-Bills If Bills are going to really contend, Sean McDermott has to fix the defense The DK Metcalf comparisons are absurd -- and totally mischaracterize who he is as a player --Ravens-Colts Is this the week the Ravens finally play well? Because it's coming. It really is. --Cardinals-Dolphins Brian Flores flummoxed Sean McVay a week ago. Is Kliff Kingsbury next? Welcome to Week 9! Dan and Matt are back at it to drill down their five favorite picks for the week against the spread. We start in LA with the Chargers, but an early disagreement doesn't land that game in our final picks (3:50). What does make our list is the Seahawks heading to Buffalo as underdogs (7:05). The two have another disagreement with which side to take in the Ravens/Colts matchup (13:47), but find common ground in a game with a double-digit spread (20:11). The Saints are getting Michael Thomas back, but is that enough to cover +4.5 in Tampa (26:38) and despite the Patriots' struggles, should bettors take them against the lowly Jets (30:39)?

They then preview the following games: Ravens-Colts, Bucs-Saints, Seahawks-Bills, Titans-Bears and Dolphins-Cardinals. Hope you listen and enjoy!
Hosts Peter Kennedy and Pat Boyle have what is becoming an inevitable Giants conversation - What is the future of Daniel Jones and when is the point to move on? His lack of consistency, turnover issues, and missing clutch gene have lead to a 1-7 record, but he always reels you back in with glimpses of greatness. What did the Steelers/Ravens matchup teach us about the two Super Bowl hopefuls? Has the league caught up on Lamar or is that an overreaction? Plus, the Steelers ceiling. We discuss the trade deadlines biggest moves, or maybe the biggest moves that didn't happen. Can the Packers compete as currently constituted? Did we learn anything from Tua's debut vs. the Rams? What can we expect moving forward? Lastly, a week 9 preview including the Buccs/Saints, Raiders/Chargers, Seahawks/Bills, and Ravens/Colts. @SubwaySportsTalk on IG and @SubwaySportsTlk on twitter.
