Dom Giordano, WPHT host and former teacher, has dedicated much of his daily show toward parents who are taking it into their own hands to push back against school boards that have a negative impact on their children. This has culminated in a weekly podcast on education, Readin', Writin', and Reason, which has allowed wonderful relationships to develop between Giordano, educators, and parents throughout the country who are speaking out against overbearing school boards. First, Dom welcomes in State Representative Donna Scheuren after news this week that her bill to protect homeowners has been largely squashed by Democrats, who want to prioritize squatters over homeowners. Also, Scheuren delves into the passing of the new budget in which Republicans had to regrettably make some concessions concerning school choice, with Scheuren highlighting some of the things that she and other conservatives were able to get into the bill, including a huge advancement for armed security in Pennsylvania schools. Then, Dom welcomes in Officer Mark Dallas, a retired school resource officer from out in Dixon, Illinois, who thwarted a school shooting at a graduation rehearsal a couple years back by shooting and wounding the assailant. Dallas was invited on the show after a new budget was passed within the past few weeks in Pennsylvania that suggests all school districts employ an armed security guard. Dallas takes us through the sad day, and explains why his presence saved many lives, telling how he hopes to help to train incoming resource officers.

This has culminated in a weekly podcast on education, Readin', Writin', and Reason, which has allowed wonderful relationships to develop between Giordano, educators, and parents throughout the country who are speaking out against overbearing school boards. This week, in a very special edition of Readin' Writin' and Reason, Dom offers up a focus on the historical events of last weekend, the assassination attempt on Donald Trump's life. First, Dom welcomes in Combat Veteran Captain Sean Parnell, Trump advisor and host of BattleGround on Rumble, on to hear his first-hand account of hear the bullet crack over his head as he watched Trump get shot on Saturday. Parnell provides an incredibly candid first-hand account of the events as they unfolded, telling how close he was to being struck, and offering his military expertise on the ultimate failings of the Secret Service. Also, Parnell offers his role as a first-hand witness to address questions that have been raised by conspiracy theorists online. (Photo by Anna Moneymaker/Getty Images) Then, Dom welcomes former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund, author of Courage Under Fire: Under Siege and Outnumbered 58 to 1 on January 6th. Sund wears his hat as somebody who worked in conjunction with the Secret Service on a daily basis to break down the decisions made by the Secret Service and leader Kimberly Cheatle that led to the unsafe environment. Also, Sund tells what should have been done, and tells why he thinks this should be treated with the same vigor as investigations into January 6th. Finally, Dom welcomes Colonel Allen B. West in to gather his thoughts, as a lauded military expert, on the failings of the United States Secret Service during the attempt on Donald Trump's life. First, West offers his analysis on the decision to not place a sniper on the roof that the assassin used, telling that there's absolutely no reason for there not to be somebody posted there with the direct line of sight to Trump. Then, West wears his hat as a former Congressman, offering why he doesn't think there's a planned conspiracy here, but rather an abject failure by the Secret Service. Finally, West, who's faced unfair criticism for comments taken out of context in the past, offers his thoughts on the refusal for the media to hold themselves accountable for their inflammatory rhetoric in the past.

First, Dom welcomes in Oklahoma Superintendent Ryan Walters back onto the podcast after he's been criticized by Leftist media for calling for bible-friendly education in Oklahoma and in schools nationwide. Walters has been quoted as saying that every classrooms should contain a bible, so it can be taught in historical context. Walters notes that there are certain parts of American history that is intertwined with the bible, pointing toward the Mayflower Compact, the Puritans, and the Quakers as multiple instances of history in which contextualizing the bible is important. Walters proposes this as a pushback against efforts to remove the bible from curriculum, expressing the importance in letting children know how faith led to some of America's greatest accomplishments and innovations. Then, Dom welcomes Pennsylvania State Representative Martina White onto the podcast, who's dialing from Harrisburg after stepping out of session determining the upcoming budget. Dom asks Martina about the back-and-forth in the Capitol, particularly focusing on school choice, something that Democratic Governor Josh Shapiro used to win, since turning 180 and abandoning his stance on the issue. White explains whether school choice will ever become a reality in Pennsylvania, and separately offers her thoughts on the continued reign of District Attorney Larry Krasner here in Philadelphia.

First, Dom welcomes in Ocean City Councilman-Elect Keith Hartzell, who has a lot to say after a stabbing on Memorial Day weekend on their world famous boardwalk. Hartzell, who joined frequently last summer speaking out against a new edict set forth by the Murphy administration, once again explains how local police hands are tied in dealing with juveniles after the statewide edict disallowing police to address teen usage of marijuana or alcohol. Councilman Hartzell explains how this has all unfolded, explaining why not only Ocean City, but Wildwood and Atlantic City are also seeing explosions of teens on the boardwalk engaging in violent behavior, and how local leaders are working together to take on the State in hopes to change the trend. Then, Dom welcomes Wildwood Mayor Ernie Troiano Jr. on to discuss the wave of violence that shore towns saw this Memorial Day weekend, a preview of what may be a regularity throughout this summer season. Yesterday, after needing to issue a State of Emergency over the weekend, Ernie put out a news release that called attention to an edict set forth statewide by Governor Phil Murphy that largely ties the hands of police when dealing with juveniles on the boardwalk imbibing in marijuana and alcohol use. Mayor Troiano joins to delve into the situation, explaining what he hopes will be done to allow his law enforcement officers to keep these teen mobs from developing. Finally, Dom welcomes in Sea Isle City Mayor and Cape May County Commissioner Lenny Desiderio on to hear what can be done to control the situation in our shore towns after teenagers caused havoc in Wildwood, Ocean City, and other shore towns over Memorial Day weekend. Desiderio reveals that he has joined with multiple other Mayors to meet and determine how they can return power to their police officers, who've largely had their hands tied in dealing with juveniles after edicts set forth by New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy in a reactionary move to the heightened awareness of social justice in the summer of 2020.

This week, Dom welcomes Stephanie, a parent in the North Penn School District, who led a protest last week after a horrific incident played out in her child's school Pennbrook Middle School, back onto the podcast to offer updates on the story after last night's meeting on safety in the school district. Dom first reminds listeners of the story, telling of a terribly violent attack with a Stanley steel mug on a 12-year-old by a 13-year-old who has had a violent past. It came out with the incident that faculty were warned of an impending attack, with allegations that the warnings were ignored due to the gender identity of the assailant. After hanging up with Stephanie, Dom takes a call from Vince Altieri, another father in the North Penn school district, who penned an article for North Penn Now about the horrific attack in the district. Vince explains why he's called for changes to administration, noting a continued trend of politics prioritized over other issues in the district, here being the safety of students.

Next, Dom welcomes Washington Examiner reporter Chris Tremoglie back on for some updates on the shocking controversy. Tremoglie tells of a new injunction released by the judge that demands media not reveal details about the assailant, an odd move as the standard for reporting minors is to not reveal any personal or identifying information. Finally, Dom welcomes Camden County Commissioner Jeffrey L. Nash onto the podcast to discuss why he chose to speak out when he heard of a Voorhees School District-supported pro-Palestine protest that he considers anti-Semitic. Giordano, while he agrees, takes the stance of devil's advocate in asking Nash to justify why this is not solely an expression of the First Amendment. Nash tells of the hateful rhetoric in these anti-Israel protests, noting the way Jewish students feel when seeing other students express such a stance.

In the book, Gorka and her co-author Mike Gonzalez write of the new-age Marxism that was ‘shaped by European intellectuals adapted and refined by America's student radicals of the 1960s, and diffused throughout the culture as those student radicals became professors, community organizers, and leaders.' Gorka tells how this has effected not only the United States but all of Western Civilization, telling the importance of recognizing the spread in combating the ideology. Take a listen!
