Hello, I'm Tim Spriggs, and I've recently embraced my lifelong passion for energy healing as a full-time practitioner. My journey into this field began with a deep curiosity and an unwavering desire to help others find balance, healing, and alignment in their lives. Initially trained in Reiki, I've since expanded my skills to incorporate the Emotion Code, Body Code, and Belief Code, creating a powerful, integrated approach to wellness. Each modality holds unique insights into how our bodies and minds store energy, emotions, and beliefs, all of which shape our experiences and health. Coming from a family with strong medical roots, I've witnessed the conventional path of healing firsthand, but I've always believed that there was more to well-being than physical treatments alone. This belief has driven me to explore complementary modalities that promote healing from within. Today, I strive to offer a holistic, compassionate practice that resonates with those seeking alternative, meaningful methods to resolve deep-seated issues and restore harmony in their lives. My Story From an early age, I was drawn to energy work, even as I grew up in a family deeply rooted in traditional medicine. My family valued conventional approaches, and while I respected their views, I always felt there was something more beyond the scope of medical treatments. I began noticing how unresolved emotions, beliefs, and energetic imbalances seemed to hold sway over people's health in ways that modern medicine didn't fully address. These insights led me on a journey to explore holistic and energetic healing techniques, eventually discovering that energy work was not only fascinating but also profoundly impactful. My first step into this world was through martial arts, where I learned the basics of energy flow and movement. It wasn't long before I encountered Reiki, a practice I knew I was destined to master. Reiki opened doors, allowing me to help others release tension and find a sense of calm. As my understanding grew, I ventured deeper, seeking modalities that could go beyond energy flow to address emotional and belief-based healing. Discovering the Emotion Code, Body Code, and Belief Code felt like finding the missing pieces of a puzzle. Each technique offered new ways to unearth and release emotional baggage, address limiting beliefs, and restore the body's natural energy. I remember a turning point in my journey vividly: I had been grappling with persistent issues that neither supplements nor traditional approaches could alleviate. Once I integrated these energy techniques into my life, I finally found relief, a transformation I wanted to share with others. I became certified in the Emotion Code, Body Code, and the Belief Code. These practices allowed me to connect with clients on a deeper level, helping them overcome challenges that had previously seemed insurmountable. Starting my practice was a leap, one that's brought fulfillment beyond what I could have imagined. Today, I work with people virtually and even meet with clients at local farmer's markets, where I often introduce newcomers to the benefits of energy healing. Each session is a chance to guide someone through their own path of self-discovery, offering tools that help release negative energies, beliefs, and physical symptoms. Efu Nyaki, a Trauma Healer. Efu's book, Healing Trauma through Family Constellations and Somatic Experiencing: Ancestral Wisdom from the Snail Clan of Tanzania (Healing Arts Press, November 7, 2023), explains how the author came to develop her system by integrating ancestral tribal wisdom with a fusion of two Western healing systems: Somatic Experiencing and Systemic Family Constellations Therapy. The journey to healing trauma is not always straightforward. As Efu Nyaki reveals in detail, the healing process is a complex ritual of energy movement on the physical, emotional, and spiritual levels. Born and raised on Mount Kilimanjaro's slopes in Tanzania, East Africa, Efu explains how she came to develop her profoundly successful system for helping people heal trauma by integrating ancestral tribal wisdom with a fusion of two Western healing systems: Somatic Experiencing and Systemic Family Constellations Therapy. She shares how her journey to become a healer was initiated by her grandfather, who told her the legend of the sacred healing snail of the Nyaki clan. She explains how she discovered Somatic Experiencing and Systemic Family Constellations Therapy and how combining these therapies created a powerful system for releasing cellular memories and healing the intergenerational and collective traumas hidden beneath the surface of suffering. Sharing stories from her healing work around the world, she presents action steps—such as meditations, breathwork, and creating a family tree—that readers can take immediately to regulate their nervous systems, deepen their awareness, and engage the personal healing process. Demonstrating how trauma survivors can transform their suffering into vibrant wholeness, the author shows how healing trauma is the result of bringing the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of our lives into an integrated coherence. Toxic bosses are unfortunately prevalent, with a 2023 survey finding that 87% of professionals have had at least one toxic boss in their careers. But there are warning signs, and Dr. Laura lists some, highlighting what to look for and how to get the answers we need before joining a toxic workplace.One of the key ways to investigate a boss before working for them is through mutual connections, especially on LinkedIn. Dr. Laura explains the value of maintaining connections and how to broach the subject of a boss with former or current employees. She breaks down how to decipher the answers we receive, identifying the warning signs of a toxic boss. What is being said? What isn't being said? There are things to look for in the interview, as well. The boss isn't just interviewing us, we're interviewing them! Dr. Laura names some warning behaviors that can be seen even in those initial conversations. Not every boss will be toxic and not every challenging workplace has a toxic boss leading it, but this episode gives sound insight into spotting the red flags of a toxic boss before we sign up to work with them. “Are people burnt out? Asking those questions can go a long way. And if you hear the answer is yes, it is a demanding place and people are exhausted and burnt out, that's somewhere that you don't want to be. That doesn't mean you don't want to be in a challenging, invigorating, busy workplace. And of course, there'll be periods where you're going to be working hard. But is it a constant strain? Is it under-resourced? And [are] people expected to be on call 24/7?
