When God burns up and overthrows a thing, whether it's an opportunity, a business, land, a job, a relationship or anything else that God has told you not to touch — don't self-select the parts that you think are “good”, or seemingly salvageable. Remember Saul? In 1 Samuel 15, God commanded Saul to utterly destroy the Amalekites and to kill everything. Not some things — God told Saul to kill everything. You can't take what God has told you to kill into this next season. Pass the “king test”. When God gives a command, He tests the character of your heart. As a king (a person of influence or one that God has set over an assignment that He wants accomplished in the Earth), your character is tested by God, to see if you will follow Him or adhere to the voice of the people. Don't follow popular belief — submit to God's instruction. Kill everything. Don't hold on to what you think is right. Saul failed the test. He held on to what he “thought” was valuable. What do you value most — God's Instruction or the opinions of people? It's your choice to choose to follow God's Word for your life or you can fall into destiny destruction by listening to the opinions of people. Follow God with your whole heart. Overthrow the things that He's overthrown in your life. Don't carry extra weight. Don't carry baggage into the next season. God wants you to let go of the past and release your faith for the future. His future for you is bright. You must take your next step forward in faith, knowing that God has your steps ordered when you follow His Instruction. God has not given you an assignment that you cannot handle. Ask God to connect you to the right people, those after His Heart, those who are for you and who are sent and set by God to handle your season with you. God wants His best for you, don't look back. Don't pick up what God has told you not to touch. Prayer: Father God, in the Name of Jesus, I thank You for Your Wisdom, Your Guidance and Your Instruction. I thank You, Father, that You'll lead me through every season of my life. Father, I know that You'll never leave me, nor forsake me. Father, I know that You are with me always. Father, I thank You that You'll never abandon me and that You hear me when I call. Father, I know that You are near me and You'll never fail me. My footsteps are ordered by Your Word and my heart follows Your every command. Lord, I repent of my sin and turn to You. Every prideful area, every slothful area, every slacking area in my life I repent and turn to You. Father, forgive me for any time that I did not listen to Your command. Lord I repent and turn every area of my heart to You, in Jesus Name, I am Your son and I turn to You forever. In Jesus Name. It's interesting how everyone says that they are searching for opportunities but very few are actually prepared to leverage the opportunities that they receive. On the one hand, we are pushed to get around the names that can take you places and on the other we are taught to hustle our way to the top. Honestly, what does it look like to leverage an opportunity? You are standing at an open door to a magical room that can change everything in a positive way or a negative. Don't choke! When it comes to leveraging opportunities there are three things that stand out. 1. Your Yes vs. Your No 2. Your Wisdom vs. Your Knowledge 3. Your Consistency These are some of the valuable things that can add or subtract from your opportunity. As the quite one in the room I have often found myself immersed into some great conversations. I didn't have to say much because the quality of what I said mattered. With all the shifts that have been made over the last few years, have you mastered the art of leveraging opportunities?

Always we are reminded by the prophets of old: “The Lord calls you back, like a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit.”  And he who heard the call even then sang, “O Lord, you brought me up from the netherworld; you preserved me from those going down into the pit.”  Yes, repeatedly the Lord calls out through His prophets: “Come to the water!… Come, without paying and without cost, drink wine and milk!”  He promises, “With joy you will draw water at the fountain of salvation.”  We who “have forsaken the fountain of wisdom” by the sin that plagues our inheritance are called back to “the One who established the earth for all time… before whom the stars at their posts shine and rejoice”; we are called to cling to the Word of God, to Wisdom: “Turn, O Jacob, and receive her: walk by her light toward splendor.”  For the sake of His Name, the Lord who “scattered them among the nations” now beckons His children home.  And those of faith sing with David, “Send forth your light and your fidelity; they shall lead me on and bring me to your holy mountain, to your dwelling place.” Brothers and sisters, we know that “we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death,” the death to sin.  And having been “buried with Him,” we are also raised with Him this night, this morning, that “we too might live in newness of life.”  Now His holy dwelling place is here among us with the purest of light that rises this day.  Let us be children of this holy Light.  No longer in the tomb let us dwell. Written, read & chanted, and produced by James Kurt. Music: "Removing the Log from My Eye" (third part) from Listening to the Lamp, ninth album of Songs for Children of Light, by James Kurt. ******* O LORD, from the tomb your Son has been raised, and we shall be raised with Him. YHWH, your Son is no longer in the tomb, and we have escaped with Him.  It is the third day and He has been raised, just as He said.  The stone is rolled away and so now all souls may leave the darkness of this world behind and come with Jesus to the light of Heaven. You have led us to this day, O LORD, throughout all our history, it has always been your intention to save our souls and raise us to you, even from the time of Creation.  And so you called Abraham to sacrifice his son; and so you led the Israelites out of Egypt.  Your Wisdom has been upon your people every step of our way that we might be wed to you in your eternal kingdom. And now in the death and resurrection of your Son you fulfill your will among us.  And now we who are baptized into His death are raised to glory with Him.  Let it be declared to all, LORD, that the Christ is no longer in the tomb, but awaits us all in new life.

When God burns up and overthrows a thing, whether it’s an opportunity, a business, land, a job, a relationship or anything else that God has told you not to touch — don’t self-select the parts that you think are “good”, or seemingly salvageable. Remember Saul? In 1 Samuel 15, God commanded Saul to utterly destroy the Amalekites and to kill everything. Not some things — God told Saul to kill everything. You can’t take what God has told you to kill into this next season. Pass the “king test”. When God gives a command, He tests the character of your heart. As a king (a person of influence or one that God has set over an assignment that He wants accomplished in the Earth), your character is tested by God, to see if you will follow Him or adhere to the voice of the people. Don’t follow popular belief — submit to God’s instruction. Kill everything. Don’t hold on to what you think is right. Saul failed the test. He held on to what he “thought” was valuable. What do you value most — God’s Instruction or the opinions of people? It’s your choice to choose to follow God’s Word for your life or you can fall into destiny destruction by listening to the opinions of people. Follow God with your whole heart. Overthrow the things that He’s overthrown in your life. Don’t carry extra weight. Don’t carry baggage into the next season. God wants His best for you, don’t look back. Don’t pick up what God has told you not to touch. Prayer: Father God, in the Name of Jesus, I thank You for Your Wisdom, Your Guidance and Your Instruction. I thank You, Father, that You’ll lead me through every season of my life. Father, I know that You’ll never leave me, nor forsake me. Father, I know that You are with me always. Father, I thank You that You’ll never abandon me and that You hear me when I call. Father, I know that You are near me and You’ll never fail me. Amen. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/felicia721/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/felicia721/support

I must again remark on the astounding lack of wisdom in the commentary of the missal I read.  It states, “Paul is under the misconception that our Lord will return during his lifetime,” ignorantly assuming that when he says, “We who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord,” he is referring to himself and his companions.  Oh my!  Where do they derive the oil for their lamps?  He is no more referring directly to himself in this instance than he is when he says, “If we believe that Jesus died and rose” – it is of the whole Church, of whatever time or place, he is speaking!  How can our “scholars” not see this; and how can they be so ready to utter blasphemy against Holy Scripture and the Lord's Apostle, suggesting that he purports some greater knowledge of the Lord's return than the Lord Himself?  Do they think he is as ignorant, or proud, as they? Brothers and sisters, we indeed have great hope of resurrection.  When “the Lord Himself, with a word of command, with the voice of an archangel and with the trumpet of God, will come down from heaven,” we will be caught up with Him “in the air,” in His heavenly presence.  But we must have His light within ourselves and keep watch for His Hour, waiting through the night for the dawn of His Day. Written, read & chanted, and produced by James Kurt. Music: "Watching the Sun" from Bearing the Birth Pangs, tenth album of Songs for Children of Light, by James Kurt. ******* O LORD, nothing else matters but our union with you – let us be with you forever.       YHWH, help us to keep vigil for you and for your Son's return. Let our hearts be set on your coming glory, that we may join in it ourselves. May our lamps shine brightly as we await the new Day; dispel all darkness from our midst. Give us the wisdom we need to remember your promise of new life in the kingdom – O let us be wed to Jesus, we pray!      Through the night we meditate on you and on your Word; it is for you our souls thirst. What more could we desire than to be with you in Heaven? What more should we long for than your saving grace? And to those who seek you, you come, O LORD. To rescue us from the darkness you do not delay. For even as we remain in vigil, your wisdom hastens to shine the light of your face.      May we be counted among those ready for your coming kingdom; with your Son may we enter the wedding feast. Father we are grafted into your vine and are here because of Your Son’s sacrifice to make us one in the spirit and one in Faith!  Lord, we are confident because we are in the vine and so we have nothing to fear for we fight a defeated foe.  We hear the screams of the enemy in our day because they are on the run and they see the chaos and division and depression happening in their own camp because they do not serve the God we serve; God is Lord and Creator of all! Lord we are grateful for the leadership You have given us in President Trump, we cover him with our shield of Faith in prayer and seek Your Wisdom and Guidance for him and all of his family and all who are aligned with him.  Lord, you have made him the vine dresser for our nation.  Let him continue to wield Justice and Righteousness in what he is doing for America, especially letting the pruning and trimming of all that is false and binding of us be brought to the fire.  May we not be fearful but courageous in our support and actions to ensure Your Will is done here and in every nation of the earth. Lord, we are especially praying for Your movement in England today as these people vote and show the strength to take back that which has been stolen from them to be free and a nation of Your Kingdom.  Lord that a fresh move of the Spirit blow across their nation and restore true Faith in You through Jesus Christ our Lord! Lord, we know that the pruning we see going on here and other parts of the world are a sign of Your judgment against systems that are under condemnation and will no longer keep Your people captive!  Bless those who are carrying the load to prune and trim away all of the debris of unfair and unconstitutional laws and decrees that are not in line with Your Holy plan for us. Lord, give wisdom to all the judges that President Trump has appointed to truly decide in favor of righteousness and fairness for all Americans.  Lord, we want our courts and legal system to be a reflection of Your Heavenly Court.  We know that if we are aware of Your Word in our lives this will bring about what we seek here in America. We are grateful for the new wine that You are giving us in this day.  A wine that is of the Holy Spirit and we are now preparing to share with others as we pray, voice the truth and act by giving to others that which You have given us in the ways You want us to do.  Lord, continue to bless all the members of the Strike Force of Prayer and all who join us in spirit and truth to give You all the Glory and praise.
