Londre, by Ainsley Rose and Hannah Todd, came to life while both were working on a photo shoot in Sayulita, Mexico. They were inspired to create the most flattering, high quality garments with the lowest possible impact. Most impressive? Londre has recycled over 750,000 plastic bottles off of beaches and streets into their sustainable offerings. Creating positive change in the global community is at the heart of Londre. They use their small business to make quantifiable change for women and the environment, with initiatives leading to the removal of 4,500lbs of garbage off of BC's coast, and planting 450 baby corals. We fell in love with Emma J Shipley's magical, mythical, curious creatures at first sight! British based designer Emma, is not only an incredibly creative and talented artist but a savvy and driven entrepreneur. The brand launched at London Fashion Week in 2012, after Emma graduated from the Royal College of Art. Emma won multiple awards for her drawing and designs on graduation, and has since won business awards in the UK and internationally, including the WGSN Global Fashion Award for Emerging Brand. The famous boutique Browns launched Emma's graduate collection of printed scarves, and our collections are now stocked in some of the best department stores and boutiques around the world, including Harrods and Fortnum's in London. Margaret and Lexi have been HUGE fans of the exceptionally chic Teggy French since before influencers were influencing! Hannah Ferrier sailed onto our screens back in 2016 leading the cast in hit Bravo show; Below Deck, Mediterranean. Viewers saw Hannah take on the role of Chief Stew leading the charge with 8 other crew members on a luxury yacht. Taking on two jobs simultaneously is not for the faint of heart and the reality of a career in SuperYachting is not all champagne, caviar and St Tropez sunsets; it's equal parts high drama on the high seas… especially with cameras rolling 24/7!  Hannah grew up on a small island an hour North of Sydney, Australia and after leaving high school early and getting an incredibly successful head start in her career she realized that her travel goals weren't fulfilled. A trip to the South of France set off a fire in her soul and on her return home a quick google search “how to work in the south of France without speaking French” would change her course forever and literally kick started a Yachtie career that eventually lead to a lead role on reality tv. Now back on dry land but always one to ‘Seas the Day' Hannah juggles the joys of being a new mom with hosting a wildly popular podcast, 'Dear Reality, You're Effed' and running her yacht training school Ocean International Training Academy. 

We thought we had experienced girl power at its height, that was until we sat down with fierce female founders Jill McDermott and Sara Andreasson of Michele Marie PR. They lead an all female, bicoastal, full service PR agency, named #4 on 2021's Forbes list, specializing in fashion, beauty & lifestyle. Their company culture of kindness is a direct result of their own negative experiences as young women in the cut throat world of PR. Along with the glamorous life of red carpet events, dressing celebrities, planning A List parties and working with the world's leading luxury brands came the dark side of the industry; bullying, harassment and toxic workplaces. Whilst working side by side as in-house PR for a global brand, a chance side gig threw them together and aged 27 they ventured off together to change the landscape of fashion, beauty and lifestyle PR. Sabeena Lahda is the definition of an entrepreneur. She started her company, DEUX vegan nutrient and vitamin rich cookie dough, to disrupt a locked up industry from a place of passion. She grew up on the same breakfast of champions as the Marge; Oreo's, in Texas to immigrant parents. After college Sabeena went to work at PepsiCo / Frito Lay in marketing. Her corporate career goals there didn't align at all with her personal health and wellness journey which she documented on her blog (before blogs were a thing) and she soon realized it was time to make changes. When the pandemic hit and her excessive vitamin schedule left her “pill fatigued” (a term which we love) she set out to find a delicious yet nutritious delivery into your system and after many rounds of trial and error landed on what is now DEUX (pronounced dough). We met in her booth at a tradeshow and instantly fell in love with her infectious personality and pop color, Insta-fabulous branding and of course the eaters that we are, got instantly hooked on her products! Fast forward to a Shark Tank foray, a feature in Forbes, major VC investors, a placement in Whole Foods and new products Sabeena shaking up the unbaked dough industry! 

Adam is the current Creative Director of Oprah Daily, the Oprah brand's newest venture and encompasses the entire brand reach. He previously held the same title at O, The Oprah Magazine, since 2000, overseeing O's style pages, all aspects of the magazine's cover shoots and the highly anticipated O Favorite Things. Margaret first met Adam Glassman over 20 years ago on the industry gift show circuit when he would breeze into the booth with his effervescent smile and great hair. Adam Glassman's influence was instrumental in the success of the growth of so many small businesses and brands including Macbeth Collection, our lifestyle brand. Looking back we have actually held a coveted spot on the O list SIX TIMES which is a boost to a business like no other! The Adam Glassman Oprah seal of approval continues to be a huge win. What made Adam such a pioneer was his early engagement with readers, connecting and answering questions, way before sliding into DMs was an option. Adam put real women on the pages when beauty standards were set by the couture runways. He is a daytime Emmy winner, fashion and lifestyle TV correspondent and still has great hair.

Olive & June is the breakout star of the nail industry and it's all due to the tenacity of it's founder Sarah Gibson Tuttle. Joshua Coombes is a British hairstylist, humanitarian and inspiration. He is the founder of #DoSomethingForNothing - a social media movement that encourages and inspires people to connect their skills and time to those who need them. I'm 2015 he offered a person experiencing homeless a haircut and the impact this simple act had was immediately clear. He knew at this moment he could positively impact people's lives by offering free haircuts on the streets of London, to those experiencing homelessness in the capital. By posting these emotional and transformative images on his Instagram he started a social movement . His mission has grown internationally with Joshua's story being featured in National Geographic's series 'The Story of Us' with Morgan Freeman released on Netflix internationally. Joshua has now written his first book which shows that through the simple act of a haircut, readers are taken on a geographical and emotional journey into the lives of people experiencing homelessness in different cities across the world. Do Something for Nothing explores themes of love, acceptance, shame, and perseverance while inviting us to see ourselves in one another and dissolve the negative stigmas surrounding homelessness. Additionally, 100% of the author's proceeds will be dedicated to future not-for-profit art projects to amplify the lives of isolated people. This episode is so inspiring and helps cut through the negative stigma of those experiencing homelessness and if you take away one message it's that a simple act of kindness can have power beyond measure.

Melissa Pfeister is a literal pfeist for the senses! Celebrity Hairstylists, fierce entrepreneurs and master educators, Ted and Jason's work has graced the covers of Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle and Vanity Fair on models and Alisters alike. Ted is behind some of the most iconic looks of our generation and is known to command the most expensive haircut in the country... The Marge should know as she met Ted when she was his client in his 5th Ave salon. As fast as fashion changes the business landscape does too. Ted and Jason have had to adapt over their years together in business and live by the mantra the comeback is better than the setback. Our fabulous friend Aaron Stewart has a passion for all things design and has worked most of his career in the home category. Growing up in rural Kansas, little Aaron would pour over the pages of Vogue and Harper's Bazaar dreaming of a big city life. Fast forward, he started his first company, Sové New York, a luxury bedding line whilst he was a junior in college with literally $4 in his bank account and within 3 years grew his business into a million dollar brand. When 9/11 hit and the world turned upside down he had to rethink owning his own company. With a brand-new BFA in Home Products Development from FIT, Aaron was hired as a designer for Martha Stewart Living. He then became Creative Director of luxury bedding company Sferra and later returned to Martha as VP of Product Development and Design. After 19 years of torturous NYC winters, Aaron convinced his husband, Fernando, that they should move back to Fernando's hometown of San Juan, Puerto Rico, where they launched an award-winning home store and interior design firm Stewart-Rodriguez. Paradise isn't always perfect and balmy Island life presents its own challenges, surviving Hurricane Maria and reviving their business only to face the global pandemic proved yet another opportunity for creative success and Portococo was born! Reinventing and reimagining sanitizer in a stylish, sustainable way.

Robert Bannon has been dazzling audiences on the stage and screen for years, his emotive and powerful vocals and knack for comedy bringing people by turns to tears of emotion, laughter and elation, and always to their feet. But his road to success wasn't without complications and challenges. At 12 he declared to his parents he wanted to sing and by age 13 was accepted into the very first prestigious Juilliard Prep class for musical theater under the direction of Broadway icon Bertin Roswer at Lincoln Center. Severe illness and being hospitalized for many of his formative years forced him to put his dream on the back burner. He became an elementary school teacher and got his masters in education and currently works as a 5th grade teacher but the burning desire to perform was too much to abandon. As a part of our Pride Month celebration Robert shares his inspiring and uplifting personal journey to living as his authentically happy self. 

Todd Plummer, a Massachusetts native, quickly rose to become one of NYC's top society. (Which also involved divorcing her husband and falling in love with her beautiful 6ft tall blonde best friend, also named Taylor.) Now she hosts Dear Media’s Taste of Taylor and her daily two-hour talk show The Taylor Strecker Show and is engaged to the love of her life! JJ’s Own salad dressing is so much more than just a dressing in a bottle. It represents the journey that Joy Ortiz has been on for the last 8 years. After losing 150lbs, Joy set out to live a healthier lifestyle. She owned a local cafe specializing in sandwiches and salads when her side hustle was born: JJ’s Own: natural, preservative-free salad dressings. After securing her first major order, Hurricane Sandy threatened to destroy all she had built. Joy, with her infectious energy and determination, persevered and today her dressing can be found in stores from WholeFoods to ShopRite and is enjoyed internationally. 

As Jen Fessler walked the streets of Manhattan barefoot, clutching her pumps in agony from a night of living it up at an event, she asked herself “Why has no one made a comfortable but sexy heel that looks as good as it feels?” After extensive research and an unpleasant experience in the luxury shoe department it was clear to Jen that the shoe industry didn’t care about her feet or her money! BFFs Dani and Jess both started their own wildly successful companies whilst students and working other jobs. Dani launched Inked by Dani, a temporary tattoo company, from her Senior year dorm room. Jess launched her fine jewelry line, Bondeye Jewelry on Goop after reaching out to Gwyneth Paltrow directly. Bondeye was born out of inspiration from her time in Australia and the fact that Jess felt there to be a lack of fine jewelry available that spoke to her kooky style and personality. Now they have come together for a collaboration that they manifested into existence!
