    This episode marks the beginning of the third season of Hablamos Spanglish, and we had the pleasure of speaking to Jennifer Evins, CEO of United Arts of Central Florida. This non-profit organization provides resources to support arts and cultural organizations with programs and grants. In this episode, we learned a little more about how Jennifer became the CEO of United Arts and how art has impacted her life. We also learned about the organization's background, mission, impact on inclusion in art, and the support it provides to the Hispanic community. We discussed how United Arts of Central Florida supports local artists from diverse cultures. Artists are supported not only through grants and marketing but also through a magazine that allows them to reach out to the people in the community, offering artists access to the support United Arts can provide.Above all, we had the privilege of learning more about Jennifer, who had always been involved in the arts but never studied it in college. Her family was a great source of inspiration as her father is a musician. Her mother was a ballet dancer, and her brother was a trumpet player. This exposure helped her recognize the importance of art and ultimately inspired her to find resources to support initiatives related to the arts. Jennifer is an incredible individual who believes art inspires creativity. Él es un líder de la comunidad, activista por los derechos de la comunidad LGBTQ+, defensor de los derechos de todos los inmigrantes que hace en vida en los Estados Unidos y actualmente es el Director Ejecutivo de Hope CommUnity Center. Su nombre es Felipe Sousa-Lazaballet, un joven brasileño que con tan solo 14 años se vino a vivir junto a su hermana a este país y que poco a poco logró conquistar cada uno de sus sueños, con trabajo, esfuerzo y dedicación. Y es que el activismo le acompaña desde muy temprana edad, Felipe nos contó que su infancia transcurrió en un pueblo tan humilde que ni siquiera tenían electricidad. Por eso cuando supo que el alcalde visitaría su colegio no dudo en escribirle una carta que le entrego en mano en el momento en que lo saludo.
