About our Guest:Caroline Packard is a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist and a mom of 3, who experienced pelvic floor issues herself that led her down the path of pelvic floor PT personally. As both a patient and professional, when she learned and put into practice some of the simple concepts related to improving the pelvic floor, she was stunned at the lack of mainstream availability in education and information on this topic. When put into practice these teachings can make a major impact on quality of life- BUT if only more women knew about it! Living that experience, solving her own dysfunction and helping others in the clinic has fueled a passion to spread that message even further. Sharing on social media to bring awareness to issues of pelvic floor dysfunction by teaching women that we can exert control over those ‘embarrassing things' like leaking, pelvic organ prolapse, pain with intercourse, a belly “pooch” and more. And also to let you know, that you're not alone in your struggles. For more from Erin, go to: @LoveRaisingUs

We are trying something new! This episode is a shorter, and covers topics that are relevant to things currently happening in Erin's life. Erin covers three areas:Loving: Why @chrislovesjulia is something we love- and why setting boundaries is so important. Leading: Growing into the role of being a leader in my family that allows my kids space to have their own story, without needing to make it my story. Learning: Change is difficult, but both/and is always the way to make peace with a challenging change. I am going to sprinkle in these episodes more often, and would love to know what you think! Julie gives an honest account of how she evolved from a people pleaser to a confident business woman, and describes her choice to live a beautiful life as a dog mom, versus a people mom. This point of view is one that is frequently untold- and so incredibly valuable. Julie's account of evolving adult friendships, the importance of a supportive partnership, and never giving in to the expectations of society is often missing from the narrative- and I'm so honored she was willing to talk about it with me.
