Dawn is an executive leadership coach who spent over 25 years in large manufacturing organizations. Starting her career as an engineer, she transitioned to human resources after 10 years where she discovered her passion for developing people. After leaving her last corporate role as a vice president of HR, she began coaching leaders in Fortune 50 corporations to start-ups. In 2017, she joined forces with two colleagues that she met at the Hudson Institute of Coaching, and co-founded BenchStrength Coaching. Their focus is to help companies improve their talent pipeline and make coaching accessible to leaders beyond the C-suite. The three female founders share a passion for coaching, and especially developing women leaders. Before becoming certified coaches, each was an executive in male-dominated industries. As they coached women leaders, they heard many of the same situations they had encountered during their careers. This led them to create the leadership development program Women Rising©. In this program they pass along practical knowledge they gained through their experiences…things they wish they had learned earlier in their careers. When not coaching or sharing the Women Rising program, Dawn loves to travel, and enjoys great food and a nice glass of wine. https://www.linkedin.com/company/benchstrength-coaching/ (https://www.linkedin.com/company/benchstrength-coaching/) http://www.benchstrengthcoaching.com ( www.benchstrengthcoaching.com) -- CONNECT WITH THE WILD FEATHER -- Website: https://www.thewildfeatherpodcast.com/ (https://www.thewildfeatherpodcast.com) Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thewildfeatherpodcast (https://www.instagram.com/thewildfeatherpodcast) Twitter: https://twitter.com/thewildfeather_ (https://twitter.com/thewildfeather_) Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/thewildfeatherpodcast (https://www.facebook.com/thewildfeatherpodcast) LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/thewildfeatherpodcast (https://www.linkedin.com/company/thewildfeatherpodcast)
Laura and Taly are a dynamic duo of Product Managers but with completely different backgrounds that allows each of them to bring different strengths to building Blink Date. They met on Instagram and a few years later found themselves building a startup together. Blink Date is flipping the script for dating by providing an audio-only blind speed dating app. They want to give people a chance to focus on what truly matters when looking for a life partner: compatibility, character, values, communication, and conversation. They are on a mission to eliminate bias on the basis of appearances, including on the basis of race, ethnicity, and gender. The idea for Blink came when Taly had an amazing experience at a blackout restaurant. In 2020, Taly began turning her vision into reality and hopes to change online dating's looks-first paradigm. They plan on taking this concept beyond the dating world. Chasma is an entrepreneur, avid traveler, and nature enthusiast - on a mission to make 1 Million Outdoor Besties! Growing up, she enjoyed visiting the rodeo, playing tennis, climbing trees and rollerskating. Most of her friendships were sparked in joy-filled outdoor adventures, earning her the nickname “Outdoor Bestie” which stuck well into adulthood. After losing her first “besties”, her great-grandmother and grandmother to heart disease and then becoming the primary caregiver for her mother following a heart attack in 2009; Chasma became committed to 1) her mother's full recovery and 2) learning to lower her own risks for cardiovascular diseases and sharing with other women to do the same. These experiences led her to build Try X Conquer, a suite of innovative products and programs to reduce racial health disparities by leveraging the power of technology, nature, and community for Black Indigenous Women of Color (BIWOC). Under Try X Conquer, the Outdoor Besties app launched in summer 2021 to connect women of color to local outdoor activities to find healing and adventure. In her prior career, Chasma worked as a Program Manager at Uber, led operations at a data analytics tech giant in Silicon Valley, and was an assistant to executives and leadership at cloud-based and Edtech startups. Elaine has worked in the wellness industry as a certified pilates instructor for the past 15 years. Eight years ago she developed Hashimoto's and guttate psoriasis which took her on a health journey of finding the answers to put her autoimmune illnesses into remission. Radically changing her diet reversed her symptoms of fatigue, weight gain, hair loss, and dry skin. Supplementing with collagen gave her a whole new head of hair and glowing skin. Coming out on the other side of this gave her an unshakable belief in the profound interconnectedness of health and beauty. In 2015 she launched a collagen water having no previous experience in the beverage industry. In 2019 she relaunched with powdered collagen under the new name, Elaine Wellness. Lynn Power has spent her 30 year career running and transforming agency brands. Lynn has expertise in transforming organizations from top to bottom – including capabilities, organizational structure, talent and culture. She recently left the big agency world to create MASAMI, a premium clean haircare brand which launched in February 2020. Prior to her entrepreneurial move, Lynn was CEO of J. Walter Thompson NY, responsible for the flagship office of WPP's $1.5B iconic agency (the oldest advertising agency in the world). Throughout her career, Lynn has had the great fortune of working on some of the world's most well-known brands including: LISTERINE, American Express, Clinique, Hershey's, Pizza Hut and Wild Turkey. Lynn believes that business success relies on building a team that respects and nurtures ideas as well as the people who create them. She believes in moving at the speed of culture, eliminating barriers and empowering entrepreneurial thinking, while embracing a player/coach leadership approach. About https://www.lovemasami.com/ (MASAMI): Our story began with the belief that you don't need to trade off clean beauty for haircare that performs. We found our answer from the rich seas of northeastern Japan, where the three waters of the world embrace, and nature in all her beauty and diversity flourishes. Piper Foster Wilder is the Founder and CEO of 60Hertz Microgrids. The company develops software to maintain microgrids — from village infrastructure, to remote industrial sites, to resiliency microgrids on critical infrastructure. Foster Wilder came to Alaska to serve as Deputy Director of the Renewable Energy Alaska Project in Anchorage. There she became acquainted with the opportunity and challenges of project development, financing, and maintenance of remote power grids. In 2016, Foster Wilder led a contract with the Colorado Energy Office to develop a solar-thermal-as-a-service program in partnership with six Rural Electric Cooperatives in Colorado's Western Slope. Foster Wilder came to clean tech through her work as Vice President of Amatis Controls, an Internet of Things company. There, she developed their thermal metering product line, opening markets in Austria, Germany and North America. During this time she was named in Aspen Magazine's Ten Women of Aspen. Prior to this she helped launch Colorado's Energy Smart initiative. Foster Wilder is a Humboldt Fellow and worked at Ecologic Institute in Berlin for two years studying land use planning to accommodate large renewable installations. She served as Executive Director of the McBride Family's Sopris Foundation from 2005-2010, and was responsible for all aspects of the Foundation's annual conference on Best Practices in Sustainability for Western Communities, which drew 200+ elected officials, land-use planners, and decision makers from the intermountain West each year. She lives in Anchorage with her husband, commercial photographer, Nathaniel Wilder, and their daughter Bingitt. About 60Hertz: https://www.60hertzenergy.com/ (60Hertz) is a Computerized Maintenance Management System software (CMMS) which compliments monitoring/control hardware by enabling field technicians or mechanics to create work orders/tickets at site – even with limited cellular or wifi connectivity – using an app. The software enables photo documentation of the site, preventative maintenance, messaging and reports. The solution is flexible for any generation asset, works for SmartMeters, and even appliances like fridges or radios. Data from monitoring hardware + field activities can be aggregated and visible at our Maintenance Manager for Supervisors and Admins. WhatsApp and Excel will not enable scale; 60Hertz builds a culture of maintenance to ensure that assets achieve their full lifespan and personnel their full potential. 60Hertz is active across the Arctic, in Latin America, the Caribbean and SubSaharan Africa. Customers include utility companies, Original Equipment Manufacturers, and microgrid developers. -- CONNECT WITH THE WILD FEATHER -- Website: https://www.thewildfeatherpodcast.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thewildfeatherpodcast Twitter: https://twitter.com/thewildfeather_ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/thewildfeatherpodcast LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/thewildfeatherpodcast

Basically, buying a house sucks — you're dragged through an opaque process, uneducated and confused, by an agent you don't even know if you can trust. DwellWell aims to solve this problem by building a platform that educates homebuyers on what they need to know before connecting them with an agent. Based on your needs we can connect you to the best agents in your area and you can meet with them as an equal. Agents on the DwellWell platform can now speed up their lead-to-close ratio by working with high-intent buyers, and reduce the burden of being the sole educator in the process. With DwellWell, agents can get back to the work of actually closing deals. Stephanie Sarka, Founder & CEO of https://1atelier.com/ (1 Atelier), is a seasoned entrepreneur with deep experience in building businesses and brands. Graduating from Stanford, she worked in M&A at Goldman Sachs, followed by a year running marketing for International Flavors & Fragrances in Paris. After getting her MBA at Harvard Business School, she worked for Lew Frankfort at Coach for seven years, where she earned her stripes as a “merchant” and an “operator” and held numerous leadership positions including the successful re-launch of Mark Cross, the American luxury goods brand. Stephanie then co-founded http://goto.com/ (GoTo.com) in 1998 (later Overture), one of the first hugely successful Internet companies, where they invented the “Paid Search” business model that today powers Google, taking the company public one year after launch and growing it to ~$1 billion in revenue in four years before selling it to Yahoo for $1.6 billion in 2003. A serial entrepreneur and start-up investor, Stephanie is most recently the co-founder and CEO of 1 Atelier, the transformational direct-to-consumer custom luxury brand that celebrates originality and is bringing the joy and fun back into luxury. Clients design their one-of-a-kind bags at http://1atelier.com/ (1Atelier.com); each product is then meticulously handcrafted from the finest leathers at their NYC Atelier and delivered within 21 days. As the only natively custom luxury brand, 1 Atelier is also the only inherently sustainable luxury brand. Raw materials are brought in just-in-time and production is done on-demand. This eliminates over-production which is the major source of the 13 million tons of waste generated annually by the fashion industry. Given their unique custom production platform and their proprietary customization technology, 1 Atelier is on course to up-end the luxury goods industry. -- CONNECT WITH THE WILD FEATHER -- Website: https://www.thewildfeatherpodcast.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thewildfeatherpodcast Twitter: https://twitter.com/thewildfeather_ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/thewildfeatherpodcast LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/thewildfeatherpodcast
