Wright welcomes back author and speaker Lori Wildenberg to discuss her book Grandparents Make Grandpartners and the powerful role grandparents can play in discipling their grandchildren.Lori explains that discipleship does not have to feel intimidating. At its core, discipleship means training, guiding, and helping the next generation know Jesus. She encourages grandparents to begin with prayer, asking the Lord for wisdom, words, timing, and opportunities to speak into the lives of their grandchildren. She also emphasizes the importance of being grounded in Scripture so that faith conversations can happen naturally and biblically.Key Topics CoveredWhy grandparents are uniquely positioned to disciple their grandchildrenHow prayer creates the foundation for spiritual influenceWhy grandparents do not need to have every answer before beginningThe importance of learning Scripture together with grandchildrenPrayer prompts for grandchildren's faith, character, friendships, purpose, courage, discernment, and protectionOrganic discipleship through everyday conversationsStructured discipleship through traditions, prayer, Scripture, and intentional activitiesTeaching children that they are created in the image of GodHelping grandchildren see God as Creator through creation and daily lifeThe difference between evangelism and discipleshipWhy discipleship has lasting generational impactFeatured GuestLori WildenbergAuthor of Grandparents Make GrandpartnersWebsite: LoriWildenberg.comScripture References MentionedJohn 6:291 Peter 2:1–3Exodus 20:12Proverbs 13:20Ephesians 2:10Galatians 5:22–23John 10:27Philippians 1:9–101 Corinthians 16:132 Thessalonians 3:3Colossians 3:23–242 Corinthians 8:21Ephesians 1Memorable Quotes / Takeaways“Disciple basically means to train.”“You can both be disciples. What I meant to say was John 2:24-25.I accidentally added the word "and" to 1 Peter 4:10-11. It didn't change the meaning, but here is the verse verbatim: "As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen."I did something similar with 1 Corinthians 12:14, which says, "For the body does not consist of one member but of many."Feel free to email the podcast at ijustwanttotalkabout@gmail.com, and we will respond as soon as we are able!I WANT TO BE DISCIPLEDI am on staff with another ministry called Mentoring Men for the Master (M3). A spiritual experience is closer to many than they might think — especially for the faithful. As the spiritual realm gains traction in both pop culture and faith circles, believers are increasingly asking: Is this stuff real, and how do I discern truth from fiction? While some dismiss demons, exorcism, deliverance, and the supernatural as outdated myths, countless Christians continue to share real stories of both oppression and miraculous freedom. In a world where Ouija boards are marketed as toys and TikTok teems with spiritual influencers, navigating truth from deception isn't just cultural—it's deeply personal, often painful, and undeniably hopeful. In this episode of Revelations Podcast, host Reagan Kramer sits down with Ryan Bethea, producer and host of The Exorcist Files, as well as co-host of the new podcast Heaven Meets Earth. Ryan's exploration into Catholic exorcisms and modern-day miracles offers an unparalleled look into how spiritual warfare manifests today. As a Protestant gaining insights from Catholic traditions, and through deeply researched narrative storytelling, Ryan brings humility, humor, and serious theological weight to one of the most misunderstood and scarcely discussed topics in Christianity.Be equipped with a fresh, Spirit-led perspective and practical tools to understand the realities of spiritual warfare, what deliverance looks like in real life, and how God still works through miracles today. This episode is for curious skeptics, discerning believers, and anyone hungering for more of God's power and presence. Here are three reasons why you should listen to this episode:Explore real-life encounters with demonic forces and the process of exorcism in both Catholic and Protestant contexts through the lens of spiritual warfare.Gain insight into how miraculous healing and supernatural intervention point to God's faithfulness through a spiritual experience in the modern day.Reflect on how to discern spiritual attack from psychological or circumstantial hardship—and find wisdom for your own spiritual battles.Become Part of Our Mission! God leaves room for faith.Recognizing the attacks of the Enemy can be challenging, which amplifies the importance of discernment in spiritual warfare.[15:25] Ryan: “Paul's constantly reminding us, Hey, you have an Adversary. Don't be scared, but be alert.”[19:10] The Role of Prayer and Spiritual DiscernmentRyan's co-host Abby takes a spirit-led approach to life and decision-making, including praying about everyday choices.Abby's posture of prayer and discernment inspired him to submit more of his decisions to God."Lead with Prayer" by Ryan Skoog highlights the importance of prayer in making decisions. As Christians, we must trust God's timing and be open to His guidance in all aspects of life.[21:1] Ryan: “You hear all these stories; miracles happen. They're rare by definition. They're miracles. These are not common experiences, and they take all shapes and sizes.”[24:37] Heaven Meets Earth: A Spiritual Experience“Heaven Meets Earth” had diverse guests from different faiths, which gave them a broad perspective. However, the focus was on miracles and spiritual experiences."Heaven Meets Earth" podcast had a powerful and positive impact, and even helped heal or encourage its listeners through difficult times. It would help people to normalize spiritual experiences and provide a platform for people to share their stories.Miracles happen all the time — even today in our lives. We just have to be open to God's work.[31:08] Mary and Spiritual ApparitionsGod is not the sole source of spiritual encounters. Mary also comes to people with spiritual experiences and apparitions.Ryan shares a story about a friend who received a message from Mary during a difficult time, which brought her comfort and healing.Marian apparitions have great historical significance, such as Lady of Guadalupe and Fatima. Their impact on the faith of people worldwide is undeniable. It's critical that we remain open to spiritual experiences and the role of the saints in interceding for us.[37:12] Spiritual Experience in the Modern EraTrust God's timing and be open to His guidance in all aspects of life.Spiritual experiences can come from anywhere — even a podcast.[44:54] Ryan: “Keep your eyes open, see what God's up to. He's always sneakily doing something.”We must continue to share our faith and experiences to those open to hearing.About Ryan BetheaRyan Bethea is a dynamic storyteller, media producer, and spiritual investigator whose work bridges the worlds of faith, mystery, and modern-day miracles. Proverbs has much to say about instilling a "Proverbs work ethic" in your sons. It's one of the greatest gifts you can give them, for it will be quite difficult for them to succeed in life without it. This work ethic is typically described as being diligent. Mullen's mentorship. He shares his pivotal moment at 11, choosing America's Got Talent over a Belize trip, becoming a finalist and facing the lure of secular success.Despite giving glory to God on the show, he admits to running from his calling, wanting freedom to chase his own desires while still loving Jesus.[05:41] God Redeems Quintavius's Childhood ExperiencesQuintavius reveals how international fame from America's Got Talent was misused for self-interest, a pattern God is now redeeming for His glory.[5:41] Quintavious: “After I fully submitted to Him, got saved, filled the Holy Ghost again, He now has allowed me to redeem that he is redeemed again. Now I was on the national, international stage, and I am making his name great, and it's for the purpose of God.”He opens up about misunderstood spiritual gifts—like seeing visions—initially confusing them for demonic or medium-like experiences due to lack of guidance.A turning point came when he surrendered fully to Christ, allowing God to refine these gifts for prophetic ministry and deliverance of others.Reagan connects this to listeners, noting how God's protection kept Quintavius from darker paths, now using his platform to win souls.[20:50] Demonic Torment During Early YearsQuintavius claims to have had chilling encounters with demons in elementary and middle school, like beds shaking and hearing hoof-like footsteps, fueling a spirit of fear. The enemy exploited his ignorance, tormenting him with nightmares and voices urging harm, aiming to silence his future calling.Quintavius credits the Holy Spirit for guiding him to fast and pray—sometimes for weeks—leading to physical deliverance, like vomiting out demonic influences. He mentions influential figures like Alexander Pagani and his pastor Shelley Morrison, whose teachings and hugs broke spiritual chains.Dreams once filled with torment became tools of deliverance as he rejected demonic offers in sleep, waking up free by God's power.[32:54] Bringing His Spiritual Gifts to the World StageQuintavius reluctantly joined American Idol after receiving persistent invitations. He sang “Alabaster Box” for judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan. He felt the song was a powerful movement—Katy cried, Lionel claimed he felt God's presence, and Luke likened it to a baptism—shifting the show's atmosphere.Behind the scenes, revival broke out: crew members and contestants got saved, atheists turned to Christ, and the theme changed from gladiators to classmates.[37:38] Quintavious: “They literally started calling it revival. It was such a revival of the love of God and of the power of the Holy Ghost that people want to get more.”Quintavious' performances are on his Instagram, demonstrating how his worship visibly carried the Holy Spirit to impact thousands.[42:28] God's Permission, or God's Plan?Quintavius reflects on a misstep during American Idol; he chose a song God permitted but didn't ordain, learning that lawful actions aren't always in line with God's wishes.Despite the permission, not following God's exact plan halted his progression. He learned to prioritize precise obedience over rationalized choices.[49:19] Reagan: “God's opening doors, well, why? Because you've been faithful, you've screwed up. He's the God of second chances.”He shares how God still redeemed this, as a viral “12 Days of Christmas” video in December 2024 brought greater reach than the show, saving lives and opening doors.[52:53] Staying Faithful to God's Call TodayQuintavius stresses prayer, fasting, and staying rooted in Scripture to balance his dual presence in gospel and secular spheres, keeping his focus on God's assignment. He credits his local church community for grounding him, offering safety in counsel and keeping pride at bay as his influence grows.[53:31] Quintavious: “I stay faithful to my church community. Having a community around you is important, you know, the multitude of counsel, there is safety.”His mission bridges worlds, bringing salvation to both gospel artists who don't live it and secular folks unaware of Jesus, acting as a “secret agent” for the Kingdom.Quintavius envisions God deepening his intimacy with the Spirit and expanding his ministry globally, not just in industry fame but in soul-winning across nations. He sees himself growing as a leader in the body of Christ, shaped by ongoing lessons in manhood and stewardship of his gifts. His local church remains vital, providing covering and training—like casting out demons in outreach—keeping him humble and accountable.[1:00:49] Encouraging the LonelyQuintavius encourages trusting God over self, rejecting the lie of isolation. God has a community for everyone. He advises praying for revelation of that community, warning against the enemy's tactic to isolate and confuse through lack of guidance. The body of Christ is collective, not solitary, and finding a church or group stirs gifts and offers support.Reagan prays for Quintavius, asking for strategic discernment, protection, and boldness to spread the gospel worldwide through his voice.Quintavius requests prayer to steward his transition well, avoiding procrastination and aligning with God's will as his influence rises.About QuintaviousQuintavius Johnson is a worship and gospel singer, prophetic minister, and dynamic voice for God's Kingdom, celebrated for his powerful testimony and anointed performances. Rising to fame as a finalist on America's Got Talent at age 12, he later captivated audiences on American Idol in 2024, where his singing sparked revival and led souls to Christ. With a background rooted in church choirs and a family of singers, Quintavius discovered his spiritual gifts early, navigating demonic torment and prophetic visions that God has since redeemed for deliverance and global ministry. Now 23, Quintavius bridges the secular and gospel worlds, using platforms like his viral “12 Days of Christmas” video to spread hope and salvation. A faithful servant in his local church, he ministers through worship, intercession, and outreach, drawing from years of intimacy with the Holy Spirit to cast out demons and ignite faith. Has God ever communicated with you directly? Have you heard him speak to you? There are some things you can do to turn up the volume and some ways you can expect God to use to communicate with you. It can be disheartening when you feel the volume is on mute and discouraging when others share how they hear God. It's a haunting question. After all, Jesus says we are the salt of the earth, and as such, we are to help preserve our world from the natural decay that comes when fallen human nature goes unchecked. If we are living up to our "salt" identity, it seems unbelievers would act differently around us than they would if they were with other non-Christians. Be Strong | Jeremy Wilson | BreakoutThere is so much more at stake for our holiness when we're husbands and fathers. In today's culture, genuine male friendships are scarce. Our friendships as believers should be built on eternal things. In this breakout, Jeremy walks through 1 Samuel by looking at the friendship between David and Jonathan to discuss what we can learn from them. Our conduct is greatly influenced by who we surround ourselves with. Let's spur each other on to read the Word and push each other towards holiness. Let's be intentional to surround ourselves with godly men who push us towards the Lord. It has been said that “God created man in His own image, and so man returned the favor.” If we are going to be saved, we must make sure that we do not craft a comfortable Christ in our own image. Brigitta Hoeferle can be described as tenacious, determined, knowledgeable, and passionate. She loves to build relationships through intentional listening, and teaches others how to do that successfully in their own circles as well. Brigitta grew up in Germany, was living life in the fast lane and convinced she to knew it all... until the humbling moment when she examined her life and realized that a degree in communications didn't mean she was a good communicator. Often it is the source of quarrels and conflicts in many of our lives. It impairs our judgment and motives and causes us to desire what God does not will for our lives as we seek the things that do not endure and draws us further from God. The scriptures speak purposefully and declare that friendship with the world is hostility toward God. As we each face our struggles, balancing strong emotional attachments with the world and those deep and intimate longings for the things of God do not come naturally. In this episode, we look to the scriptures and teach you how God's grace is sufficient to prepare you to receive the grace that saves our lives and transforms our motives toward desiring God.Scriptures links and references:1 John 5 (19)Matthew 23:12Proverbs 11 (2)Proverbs 22 (4)Luke 22 (24-27)Matthew 5 (1-12) - THE SERMON ON THE MOUNT; THE BEATITUDESGenesis 32 (9-12)James 4 (1-17)Consider partnering with us:When you support this show through your prayers and gifts, you enable us to provide sound biblical teaching that helps others open up their understanding of the scriptures across the globe. Today we continue the conversation that we began in the previous episode about fighting against a victim mentality. Specifically, today we look at two things: a practical application and a caution.Episodes referenced:Episode 24: The GospelEpisode 55: Prisoners in unlocked cells, part 1Resources mentioned:The Jesus Storybook BibleExperiencing GodScriptures used/referenced:Galatians 6:7James 4:8Proverbs 12:15James 4:6 and 1 Peter 5:5Proverbs 6:6-11Proverbs 27:12Proverbs 19:3Genesis 3:1-7Proverbs 18:10John 14:15Matthew 4:1-11Romans 8:91 Corinthians 10:13Romans 5:8Ephesians 2:4-9Psalm 103:13-34Psalm 145:17Luke 6:35Revelation 20:11-15Matthew 5:44-45Psalm 27:13-14Matthew 7:7-11**CORRECTIONS/CLARIFICATIONS**I said there was a disconnect between what the person in the financial example was sowing and reaping. What I meant was that in their mind there is a disconnect because they couldn't seem to see (or they refused to see) the connection.Proverbs 19:3 has an even broader application than just how I used it in this episode. For example, it could also refer to a person who was aware of the consequences of their actions and yet expected God to shield them from those consequences nonetheless.Support the showIf you feel so led, you can support the podcast by clicking HERE or by clicking the "Support the show" button above. Trusting in God's presence and goodness is a simple enough concept, but let's not mistake that for being easy. In today's episode, Sue engages with a brother in Christ, Paul Granger, to spur us on as we seek to trust God when our human understanding is leading us astray. When asked who he is, Paul likes to say "a child of God and ambassador of Christ," because he's learned that these elements of his identity supersede and shape the rest. One of the ways God has invited him to live out the call to "love God and love others" is through creating space for conversation and community, and advocating for those that may go unseen. He has spent the last two decades serving with various ministries, and now serves full time alongside YWAM. He is a well of wisdom; get your journals ready and come hungry for this spiritual feeding!
