Quebec's new consumer law went into effect yesterday. The law now requires grocery retailers to include more information on displays, such as the price per unit of measure, and the price for customers who don’t belong to a store’s loyalty rewards program. A new report from Dalhousie university states that Canadians are more anxious about food affordability. This disrupts traffic flows, causes transit delays and creates serious safety risks." But even with such a definition, it is still not fully clear what all of the rules are regarding this policy.
