    Ivy Insights

Cutting the Curd is an exceptional podcast that delves into all aspects of the cheese industry. As someone starting a small creamery, I find myself listening to this podcast religiously. It is not just informative but also entertaining, making it a must-listen for anyone interested in the world of artisan cheese.

One of the best aspects of Cutting the Curd is its ability to provide in-depth information about cheesemaking, the business side of cheese, sustainability practices, and current issues within the industry. The guests featured on the show are leaders in their respective fields and offer valuable insights and expertise. The hosts themselves demonstrate a deep knowledge and understanding of the business inside and out. This combination makes for engaging and enlightening conversations that are both educational and entertaining.

Another great aspect of this podcast is the personality and fun that the hosts infuse into each episode. They strike a perfect balance between professionalism and lightheartedness, creating an enjoyable listening experience. The hosts genuinely care about cheese and their passion shines through in their interactions with guests. This enthusiasm is contagious and makes me even more excited about my own journey in the cheese industry.

As for any potential drawbacks, there really aren't many to mention. However, one could argue that some episodes may be too focused on specific topics or may not appeal to everyone's interests. However, this is subjective and can be easily remedied by selecting episodes based on personal preferences.

In conclusion, Cutting the Curd is a stellar podcast that provides an invaluable resource for anyone involved or interested in the cheese industry. Whether you're a cheesemaker, cheesemonger, or simply a cheese lover like myself, this podcast offers a wealth of knowledge alongside an enjoyable listening experience. I highly recommend giving it a listen if you want to expand your understanding of artisan cheese or simply have fun conversations about all things dairy-related.
