"Cuando tenía cinco años y escuchaba a mi padre hablar en verso, yo no sabía todavía lo que era una octosílaba, una décima, una sinalefa o un hemistiquio. No sabía nada, pero me encantaba la musicalidad de las palabras", reconoce. Poeta, escritor e improvisador, Díaz-Pimienta ha logrado llevar la improvisación poética a los escenarios internacionales. Es miembro de la Unión Nacional de Escritores y Artistas de Cuba y de la Asociación Iberoamericana de la Décima y el Verso Improvisado. También es fundador y director de la Academia Oralitura, una institución dedicada a la enseñanza y promoción de la improvisación poética y otras formas de literatura oral. "No nos damos cuenta de que todos improvisamos, de que la vida, no solamente la poesía, es una continua improvisación", asegura el narrador. The Cincinnati Reds fell to the San Diego Padres in the series finale on Wednesday and it shows many things we know to be true about the Reds. Many of the things, like the back end of the Reds rotation being a mess and the Reds lineup having little power, are why ESPN graded the Reds April poorly. While that grade has some details that are correct, it is wrong. The bullpen, led by Alexis Díaz and Lucas Sims, is better than people think and the Reds have been a much better base running team, thanks to Jonathan India and TJ Friedl, which is why they've been winning more games than last year. The one worry though is Tyler Stephenson.
