When Anne Scott retired from her full-time job at the RNLI, Buckie lifeboat crew had other ideas. Now, RNLI stalwart Anne volunteers at the station – and sees the crew as family One of Anne's earliest memories is of being 4 or 5 and trying to stay awake, not for Santa Claus, but for her dad – the mechanic at Cromarty Lifeboat – to return home from a shout. Her uncle John was RNLI crew too, and her mother a passionate fundraiser. Fittingly, Anne later became an RNLI Fundraising Manager and supported events in her patch of Scotland. She talks about her latest role as Lifeboat Operations Manager at Buckie Lifeboat Station, what being involved with the crew means to her, and about another indelible memory – lifeboat crew members putting on their best Beyoncé in fishnets and stilettos. 200 Voices is produced by Adventurous Audio for the RNLI Interview by Adventurous Audio Soundtrack composed and performed by Jon Nicholls The RNLI is a charity celebrating 200 years of saving lives at sea - find out more at RNLI.org/200

Today I'm going to be shining a light on some of the things we often think (and are taught) it takes to build a successful, aligned online business. I thought for the longest time that in order to build success, in order to have a business that I was in love with I needed to check off certain things (none of which ever felt good to me), I had to have a perfect IG feed, thousands of followers, hundreds of likes and comments on my posts. So much of this was holding me back because I felt like it needed to be perfect before I took myself and business seriously, before I started to view my work and what I had to offer as good enough and worthy enough of changing people's lives. I want this episode to be a big fat permission slip for you... To get out of your head, to give a middle finger to soooo much of what you've been taught, to let go of the idea that it needs to look a certain way and start viewing yourself, your business and the work you have on your heart as good enough and worthy enough–now. I'm also sharing 5 of the biggest lessons I've had to learn that has grown my business and my impact exponentially despite having a smaller audience and a dip in my engagement. Buckie in, babes. There's a lot here for you. Here's my email address to send me a screenshot of your podcast review for the giveaway (ending April 16th): keri@kerikugler.com You can also send your screenshot to my IG DMs here: https://www.instagram.com/keri_kugler_/ Link to the program I mentioned, Going Live, that's going to walk you step by step in how to build, launch ang grow a wildly successful podcast: https://www.kerikugler.com/offers/NHedFT8w/checkout And finally, the link to apply for 1:1 coaching: https://kerikugler110957.typeform.com/to/O1gNLRrO?typeform-source=linktr.ee&typeform-medium=newtab-linktree
Huntly and Buckie Thistle had to settle for a point apiece following a 1-1 draw at Christie Park. Brechin's win over Strathspey Thistle saw Buckie drop to second on goal difference but it's nine games unbeaten for The Jags as Boss Graeme Stewart felt the draw was a fair outcome.

This week, the panel discuss Anthony Stewart after he sparkles at Glebe Park and, in his performance and organisation, looks the man to shore up Aberdeen's defence – with or without armband – ahead of the season-opener against Peterhead. Can David Bates cement his place alongside him though? If he wants to stay at the Dons, the League Cup group games are striker Christian Ramirez's big chance while we wait for Bojan Miovski's visa situation to be resolved. However, all signs are pointing to a Vicente Besuijen-centered Aberdeen attack, aren't they? We also discuss the worrying situation at threadbare Peterhead ahead of the clash with the Premiership giants, while there was a first look at Ross County's revamped squad in action on Wednesday ahead of the start of their campaign at Buckie. What do they still need? And what signings will Inverness still be looking to make as they get set for a trip to Kelty Hearts on Saturday. Plus, Evan Towler joins Cove on loan from Aberdeen, and there are big hopes for the 17-year-old, while Elgin - facing a cup journey to Ayr on Saturday – have come out of pre-season full of optimism for the 2022/23 term.

Troy has been in the music business for quite a long time but he did not start there. Troy goes into pretty cool detail about how he made the climb to success in the music industry as well as how he got into some pretty awesome adventures along the way!I would say that from our days of touring with Florida Georgia Line we had our ups and downs and even butted heads about how we thought the show should travel down the road but through it all we remained friends. On this episode I learn some really cool facts about Troy and his love for coffee but the big one was what he was doing before he was a tour manager (aka cat herder aka babysitter to one of country's biggest stars)!
