DownloadWE HAVE DID IT!! LOTC has reached the huge milestone, episode 400. This is GregaMortis and I am typing from the heart right now. Episode 400 would have not been possible without episode 1, actually The Creepture Feature Horror Show podcast which was the original show. Way back in late 2009 myself and Dr Butcher aka Dr Dirty Aka Joe and I got together at a local movie rental store in a rural town in North Carolina where Joe worked at the time and I frequently went in to rent movies. We both had a desire to do something in horror, after throwing ideas off each other the word Podcast got mentioned. Now 2009 Podcasts were not unknown but certainly were not like they are now. That was the seed, Joe and I had decided that was it, podcasting. in 2010 Joe and I published our 1st episode and now 14 years later and through many format changes and different hosts We have made it to 400. This is so huge for myself and the crew as well as humbling. To think that a somewhat introvert from a very small town in North Carolina would be able to see 400 episodes with such an amazing lineup of hosts and the greatest Listeners/family in the whole world. Now to reach 400 episodes one thing has to happen, great hosts, people who week in and out discuss movies and topics in a way that makes each of You tune in as well as each host want to continue. We have had several hosts in the past and I want to say Thank You to each and everyone of them. Joe aka Dr Dirty, Shaun Davis aka Haddonfield Hatchet also my Jack Ass lol, Dave Becker aka Doctor Shock, Kenny Pumpkin King Caperton, Jeff "Bruno" Bromley who we lost due to Cancer, Jessie Robbins, Wolfman Josh, Channy Dreadful, Bill Van Veghel, Justin Beahm as well as my queen and the queen of horror The Twisted Temptress Pearl. I also want to say a huge Thank You to all the many guests we have had in the past. Everyone has been so prepared and I truly have enjoyed recording with each one. I have to most of all say Thank You to each and every one of You who have tuned in to listen to us talk horror. Some have listened to each and every episode, followed us from the beginning, some have come later but went back to listen to each episode, some have came recently and have lots to catch up on, where ever you fit in to these categories Thank You is not enough. A huge virtual hug and high five is not enough. A celebratory shot of Jim Beam and Honey is not enough. YOU guys and gals are what keep us going. We are extremely excited to see where we go next, one thing is for sure, we are not stopping, we are going to keep bringing you hopefully entertaining episodes. During this show each host picked a movie to watch and review that they felt might shock You that they have not seen. This was much harder than we thought originally but each host brought their best. We also played all the voicemails where we asked for You to send us questions, we had some really good ones and we answered to our best abilities. We also could not have recorded such a monumental show with out our great friend Justin Beahm. GregaMortis and Justin spend time discussing a film he had not seen as well as having him answer the same questions as well. This episode was so fun to record and we are hoping you will be entertained. So sit back and grab your favorite snacks and beverages and journey with us through the Land Of The Creeps and hopefully another 400 episodes. Introductions to your Ghosts Hosts with the Most - Lonely of Lonely Horror Club and Projectile Varmint aka Suzie of Horror Movie Weekly Welcome back our Cagematch cohost Mister Watson The Cagematch Bracket & Rules Bracket: To create the brackets, we pulled a total of 28 horror films from the A24 filmography which were placed into “seeds” based on their IMDB & Rotten Tomatoes ratings. After ranking all of the films, we used a bracket creator, like people do for fantasy football or March madness, which generated our full A24 Cage match bracket. Check out the full bracket here. Rules: For scoring and advancing, each host will rate the movie from 1 to 10 on the following metrics: acting, storytelling, scares, and cinematography. We can't give zeroes so the lowest possible overall score will be 12 and the highest possible overall score will be 120. In the event of a tie - the film with the highest Rotten Tomatoes score will advance.
