This is the fourth installment in a seven-part series "Signs & Wonders: Miracles in the Gospel of John" at Greenfield Presbyterian Church in Berkley, MI. The scripture lesson for this message is from John 6:1-15; 22-59 John 6:1-15 Feeding of the five thousand 6 After this Jesus went across the Galilee Sea (that is, the Tiberias Sea). 2 A large crowd followed him, because they had seen the miraculous signs he had done among the sick. 3 Jesus went up a mountain and sat there with his disciples. 4 It was nearly time for Passover, the Jewish festival. 5 Jesus looked up and saw the large crowd coming toward him. He asked Philip, “Where will we buy food to feed these people?” 6 Jesus said this to test him, for he already knew what he was going to do. 7 Philip replied, “More than a half year's salary worth of food wouldn't be enough for each person to have even a little bit.” 8 One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, said, 9 “A youth here has five barley loaves and two fish. But what good is that for a crowd like this?” 10 Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” There was plenty of grass there. They sat down, about five thousand of them. 11 Then Jesus took the bread. When he had given thanks, he distributed it to those who were sitting there. He did the same with the fish, each getting as much as they wanted. 12 When they had plenty to eat, he said to his disciples, “Gather up the leftover pieces, so that nothing will be wasted.” 13 So they gathered them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves that had been left over by those who had eaten. 14 When the people saw that he had done a miraculous sign, they said, “This is truly the prophet who is coming into the world.” 15 Jesus understood that they were about to come and force him to be their king, so he took refuge again, alone on a mountain. John 6:22-59 22 The next day the crowd that remained on the other side of the lake realized that only one boat had been there. They knew Jesus hadn't gone with his disciples, but that the disciples had gone alone. 23 Some boats came from Tiberias, near the place where they had eaten the bread over which the Lord had given thanks. 24 When the crowd saw that neither Jesus nor his disciples were there, they got into the boats and came to Capernaum looking for Jesus. 25 When they found him on the other side of the lake, they asked him, “Rabbi, when did you get here?” Bread of life 26 Jesus replied, “I assure you that you are looking for me not because you saw miraculous signs but because you ate all the food you wanted. 27 Don't work for the food that doesn't last but for the food that endures for eternal life, which the Human One will give you. God the Father has confirmed him as his agent to give life.” 28 They asked, “What must we do in order to accomplish what God requires?” 29 Jesus replied, “This is what God requires, that you believe in him whom God sent.” 30 They asked, “What miraculous sign will you do, that we can see and believe you? What will you do? 31 Our ancestors ate manna in the wilderness, just as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.” 32 Jesus told them, “I assure you, it wasn't Moses who gave the bread from heaven to you, but my Father gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 The bread of God is the one who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” 34 They said, “Sir, give us this bread all the time!” 35 Jesus replied, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. 36 But I told you that you have seen me and still don't believe. ...

People with good (and not-so-good) intentions can offer us advice that only reflect their truth or understanding. That teaching might be limited to their life path and not yours. To protect ourselves, we must return to the True teachings that transcend time and circumstance. These are Eternal Truths, not temporal or personal truths.
Longtime listeners will be familiar with the fact that Dave has spent a lot of time looking at and working on various bites marks on dinosaur bones left by the carnivorous theropods. These can tell us an enormous amount about who was doing what to whom and what it can mean for the ecology and behaviour of both the herbivores that were bitten and the carnivores that bit them. However, to date work on this for dinosaurs has almost exclusively focused on the tyrannosaurs with their tendency to bite on bones. But they weren't the only ones doing this. As Dave explains to Iszi in this episode, he's got a big new paper out with a plethora of authors assessing what was going on in the famous Morrison Formation that was teeming with giant sauropods but had plenty of theropods around too. What were they up to and can we learn more about their biology from a few bites? Links: Matt Wedel's blog post about the project: https://svpow.com/2023/11/14/new-paper-theropod-bite-marks-on-morrison-sauropod-bones/ Dave's post about it: https://archosaurmusings.wordpress.com/2023/11/14/theropods-bit-sauropods-too/ And the paper itself: https://peerj.com/articles/16327/
Vocalist Alan Dubin is known for his role in the drone metal band Khanate. In the early 2000s, Khanate, with Alan's distinctive and tortured vocal approach, pushed the boundaries of doom metal, creating an atmosphere of everlasting torture and despair. His haunting screeches, particularly in tracks like Under Rotting Sky, were spine-chilling and penetrated any semblance of comfort. After Khanate disbanded, Alan continued on with the experimental unit Gnaw. However, the release of Khanate's To Be Cruel in 2023 marked a surprise reunion, showcasing Alan's continued vocal dominance alongside guitarist Stephen O'Malley's insane guitar. Beyond his musical endeavors, Alan is also a professional film/video editor, contributing to various TV commercials, shows, films, and music videos.
In this Mooney Goes Wild special we look at the fascinating project that is underway to reintroduce Eurasian Beavers in West London.

Toto, the little beaver boy, was a bright, bustling chap. He was what is called a “hustler” or a “bustler”—that is, some one always ready for work or play. But just now, as Toto saw the little girl coming toward the bush where he was hidden, he did not know what to do. “But I'm going to do something!” thought the beaver boy. “I'm not going to let her catch me! Maybe that's a trap she tried to get me in—maybe that shiny thing is a trap!” Toto knew what traps were, for his father and mother had told him about them, and how to keep away from their sharp teeth that caught beavers and muskrats by the legs. Millie came closer and closer. With bright, eager eyes, almost as bright and eager as those of Toto himself, she looked at the bush. Toto was all ready to run, and he wished, more than ever, that the river was not frozen, since he would not have been a bit afraid if he could have jumped in the flowing stream to swim away. He was not afraid of any creature in the water, and the fishes were friends of his. Then, all at once, just as Toto was going to start to run and do his best on the slippery ice, he felt himself... #story #kidsstories ✝️❣️

This is part two of our Toto story. Last time Toto had gone out for a walk to get out of the house for a while and saw some yummy looking bushes. He took a bite only to discover they had thorns. In this part Toto gets home after helping Millie and talks to his father about helping with the dam but when they go out to start working they hear a sound and Father Beaver yells “Danger!” Sleep Tight!, Sheryl & Clark ❤️

The latest episode of the Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast starts out with talk about the recently revealed upcoming toys for the Generations Studio Series 86 lineup, featuring Slag, Wreck Gar and Gnaw. The Shattered Glass Starscream toy also gets in to the discussion with a light debate about the tooling used to depict the latest version of the character. Generations Selects Artfire takes a quick turn under the microscope before the discussion moves to the latest re-release of the 1986 Transformers movie, which will be on 4k Blu-Ray for the first time. Cyberverse toys are making a return in a less than ideal way with their upcoming roll and combine figures, and the cast wonders if anyone actually wants these, including children. IDW Publishing's announcement of their upcoming King Grimlock series has the crew excited for new storytelling possibilities, so that receives its share of speculation as well. The episode wraps things up with thoughts on toys most Transformers fans hate which are loved by the cast anyhow before a quick round of the recurring Bragging Rights segment.

If Water drinking had a Super Bowl, this episode would be it. Pick your sides and deal with the results cause after this one, there will only be ONE. The Water Gawd. If thrive to be the best is that like striving to be the best? What if you have 4 teeth? Can you still be the best? Now add 400 or so pounds. Yup, the best. We love coaches and mentors as much as anyone else, but when said mentor speaks directly and curses non stop, well then we fall in love. Daniel Pena is straight forward and doesn't worry about feelings. Gnaw mean? Plus, let's get to the bottom of Bart being fat. This episode has BOTH sides of the story.
