Today's daily comedy adventure starts with an actual real estate listing from the underworld itself: Hell, Michigan is officially for sale. That's right — for the low, low price of $625,000, you too can own seven acres of pure Midwestern chaos complete with a wedding chapel, mini golf, souvenir shop, and an ice cream stand called “The Crematory.” Because apparently somebody looked at a normal small-town business plan and said, “Needs more eternal damnation.”The gang debates whether Hell is secretly a genius investment opportunity, whether Lern should become mayor of Hell, and how long before somebody turns the whole thing into a TikTok influencer commune with haunted goat yoga and craft IPA flights called “Satan's Hazy Delight.”Then things get appropriately weird in Crap On Celebrities:Adam Sandler causes internet drama by showing up to his wife's red carpet premiere dressed like he just wandered out of a Knicks tailgate.Gayle King once again denies she and Oprah are secretly together, while Rizz remains approximately 0% convinced.Cindy Crawford reveals a longtime eyelid condition and somehow still looks better than the rest of humanity combined.Sam Elliott confirms he's basically been the voice of America for decades thanks to Smokey Bear.A Perfect Circle drops new music for the first time in eight years.Jared Leto apparently wants your eyeballs now with a bizarre iris-scanning concert ticket system because regular Ticketmaster misery wasn't dystopian enough.Jon Hamm stars in what might become the greatest movie premise ever: a woman desperately trying to cash in her celebrity hall pass before her marriage collapses. And then… possibly the dumbest and greatest moment of the show: Lern unveils her absolutely unhinged patriotic remix promoting America's 250th birthday celebration featuring CNC Music Factory, Vanilla Ice, Flo Rida, Milli Vanilli, and enough early-90s energy drinks to restart the economy. Honestly, if this lineup doesn't scream “government-funded county fair energy,” nothing does. Also:Back In The Day triviaRocky III nostalgiaGary Coleman conspiracy talkWhy nobody should ever trust “orb technology”Why Phil Hartman's story is still heartbreakingThe return of weird celebrity AI recreationsAnd somehow Bedman & Throbbin enters the conversation because this show legally cannot behave itself for more than six consecutive minutes. This daily comedy episode is exactly what happens when a funny morning show has unrestricted access to microphones, caffeine, and internet headlines that sound fake but somehow aren't.If you love weird news, sarcastic humor, celebrity nonsense, and St. Louis radio chaos, congratulations — you found your people. The crew debates whether Monday or Friday should disappear forever in the glorious future of shorter work weeks, and Lern admits she's somehow become more productive working fewer days. Which feels fake, but apparently science backs it up. Meanwhile, Rizz shares the emotional rollercoaster of his son's surprise birthday party after the poor kid spent all day convinced nobody loved him. Nothing says “family bonding” like emotional manipulation followed by chocolate cake. Then comes the story that absolutely broke the internet: a Florida woman gets pulled over for texting while driving… except the officer claims she was holding the phone in her RIGHT HAND. Tiny issue there: she doesn't have a right hand. The bodycam footage somehow gets even more awkward as the cop doubles down harder than a guy trying to explain crypto at Buffalo Wild Wings. The gang breaks down the absurdity of the situation, internet reactions, and why this may be the greatest accidental self-own in police bodycam history. Also: Rafe casually reveals somebody once touched tips in the woods during Little League and honestly the show never emotionally recovers from there. This episode has everything:Florida chaos. Bathroom sociology. Relationship oversharing. Burger recommendations. Dong science. Emotional support vehicles. And enough sarcastic nonsense to legally qualify as group therapy.Hell, Michigan is officially for sale. Honestly, if this lineup doesn't scream “government-funded county fair energy,” nothing does. A Portland mom grabs a stick and chases an intruder out of her house after hearing threats against her family. Naturally, this immediately turns into a debate about whether “crazy meets crazy” is actually a legitimate life strategy… which, according to Lern, it absolutely is. Honestly? She may have a point. Or she may just want an excuse to scream at strangers in Target. Jury's still out. Then the gang discovers the existence of chess boxing — yes, actual boxing mixed with speed chess — proving once again that humans were never meant to have free time. Imagine trying to remember your opening strategy immediately after getting punched in the face by a guy named Vlad who definitely owns fingerless gloves. One thing we know for sure is that we will all need end-of-life planning and services eventually. And while some of us will choose familiar rituals like a traditional burial led by a religious leader, others appreciate having new and different options for honoring loved ones upon their death.   Ernie Heffner of Heffner Funeral Chapel and Crematory sits down with Jeffrey Bellomo to discuss evolving funeral service practices that reflect changing cultural and religious norms in our communities. But regardless of whether families choose a traditional or more contemporary approach to saying goodbye, everyone wants a meaningful, personalized remembrance that provides comfort during such a difficult time.  We hope you'll join us for this discussion, which also underscores the importance of talking with your family members or a funeral services provider to make sure that your wishes are known ahead of time. This relieves your family of uncertainty, avoids last-minute decisions, and allows for a more healing experience.   For additional details on service options or to contact one of Heffner's several locations in Pennsylvania, please visit https://www.heffnercare.com/   WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (00:00) Introduction: Ernie Heffner   (02:17) Ernie's background and how the funeral industry has changed  (04:59) Differences and trends in final disposition (e.g., burial vs. cremation)  (07:50) Decline in religious affiliation and the rise of celebrant services  (10:21) Serving a wide variety of demographic groups and belief systems   (12:41) The benefits of an on-site crematory  (14:08) Common misconceptions about embalming and caskets  (15:32) Creating meaningful, personal goodbyes  (17:32) The emotional impact of personalized services  (20:10) Scuba diving with Ernie and Jeff     ABOUT BELLOMO & ASSOCIATES Jeffrey R. El Programa 361 es una descarga de energía pura donde convergen tres miradas, tres estilos y una misma pasión: Zenón Pérez, Fernando Nadales y Paco Jiménez construyen un viaje sonoro que mezcla historia, actualidad y actitud. 🔥 TRACKLIST_LA HORA DEL ROCK N. 361: KISS – Escape From the Island - Music From The Elder (1981) Horseman - No Surrender in Dark Days – Sending Fire (2026) Kubika Disorders – Fight or Flight (2026) In Flames – In The Dark - Foregone – Limited Edition (2023) The Ferrymen – Adrenaline - Iron Will (2025) Petra – Kiss the Coals - Hope (2026) Siska – We’ll Return - Broken Dreams (2026) Siska – Lonely Tomb - Broken Dreams (2026) Armando De Castro – Survive - Hard Rock (2025) Malas Artes & Jimmy Navas – Regalando Estupidez - El Bufón (2025) Bourbon Kings & Def Con Dos – Haka (Single, 2025) Social Insanity – Ides of Time - Ides of Time (2025) Hammer King – Kingdom of the Hammer King - Kingdom Of The Hammer King – Remastered (2025) Rob Zombie – Superbeast - Essentials (1999) Crematory – Ghost of the Past - Oblivion (2025) Exodus – 3111 (Single, 2026) Kreator – Psychotic Imperator - Krushers Of The World (2026) Megadeth – Made to Kill - Megadeth (2026) Asgard Warriors – La Leyenda del Dragón - Sombras del Alma (2024) Unbounded Terror – Fear of Dying - Something is Rotten in Humanity (2024) Venger – Impaler of Souls - Times of Legend (2026) Edenbridge – Our Place Among the Stars - Set The Dark On Fire (2026) Acanthus – Fall for the Ink - Pay for Impressions (2025) Megadeth – Hey God! - Megadeth (2026) Marianas Rest – Again into the Night - The Bereaved (2026) Heavy Pettin – Bullets and Pills - Rock Generation (2025) Scorpions – Rhythm of Love - Savage Amusement (1988) _ (Homenaje a Francis Buchholz) dArtagnan – Ruf der Freiheit - Herzblut (CD1, 2024) STAY FUCKIN HEAVY !!

Our final segment brings together two emotional and unforgettable ghost stories. First, a caller from Massachusetts describes house-sitting in a property once used as a veterinary crematory. Locals long whispered of “Evelyn,” the vet's wife, who lingered in the halls. The caller and a friend both saw her: a pale woman in a white dress with a porcelain-like face standing silently in a doorway. Upstairs, footsteps echoed when no one was there. The second story shifts from eerie to profound. After his grandfather's passing, the caller dreamed of attending the funeral service. But instead of an urn, his grandfather stood in full sailor's uniform. Outside the chapel, rows of fallen soldiers appeared, saluting as they welcomed him to the other side. It was a breathtaking visitation dream — one that left the caller deeply comforted. Tony, Carol, and Todd discuss the weight of visitation dreams, compare them to more humorous ones (like grandpa showing up at Golden Corral), and reflect on how our loved ones might reach out after death. This segment balances chills with heart, reminding us why we tell these stories in the first place. Do you think visitation dreams are messages from the beyond? With legal expert Eric Faddis, we continue our analysis of Donna Adelson's appeal, including claims of a biased judge and another juror who appeared on a podcast post-verdict. Then, we uncover one of the most baffling details of the trial: Donna's defense attorney operates her law practice out of a local crematorium. Yes, you read that right. From there, the conversation turns to the woman at the very center of the storm: Wendi Adelson. We revisit the damning testimony from her ex-boyfriend, Professor Jeff Lacasse, who told the court that Wendi confessed her brother Charlie had looked into all options to solve the "Dan Markel problem," including hiring a hitman. She allegedly described it as a joke, but his testimony painted a much more serious picture. This raises a monumental question: What is a person's moral and legal responsibility when they hear something like that? If Wendi knew her family was even considering murder, did she have a duty to report it to the police? We dive into the complex legal ethics with Eric Faddis, debating the line between "just talk" and a credible threat. This is a crucial examination of Wendi's potential knowledge and complicity, shedding new light on her role in the tragic murder of her ex-husband, Dan Markel. But none of these people were murdered – they had been sent there to be cremated. In his podcast Noble, Shaun Raviv tries to understand what happened more than two decades ago at Tri State Crematory and wrestles with the question: what do the living owe the dead? For early, ad-free access to Crime Story, become a subscriber of CBC True Crime Premium on Apple Podcasts.Feedback for us? In 2002, investigators made a horrendous discovery at the Tri-State Crematory in Noble, Georgia. The owner had not cremated bodies that had been entrusted to him, but instead had dumped or buried them on the property. In all, 339 bodies were found on the 16-acre property. No explanation has been given as to why the bodies were not cremated.SOURCESNoble, a podcast by Shuan Raviv; Wavland Mediahttps://casetext.com/case/in-re-tri-state-crematory-litigation-3https://www.lieffcabraser.com/pdf/tri-state-complaint.pdfhttps://www.cremationassociation.org/cremationprocess.htmlhttps://web.archive.org/web/20110718010013/http://www.wdef.com/node/2478Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/autumn-s-oddities--5307439/support.

Losing a loved one is a traumatic experience. The burden of paying funeral costs for a befitting honor for that person's life can add to the stress. There are a number of alternatives in either direction, but the National Funeral Director's Association reports the median cost of a funeral in 2024 is $7,848. More families are turning to crowd funding sites like GoFundMe to cover expenses, especially for the sudden deaths of loved ones. The website says it raised some $330 million for funerals last year. We'll talk about ways to anticipate inevitable end-of-life costs in a culturally and financially feasible way. GUESTS Grace Bulltail (Crow Tribe), assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and member of the Not Invisible Act Commission Ralph Foster, owner of Foster Funeral Home and Crematory and a licensed mortician of 42 years Tami Truett Jerue (citizen of the Anvik Tribe), executive director of the Alaska Native Women's Resource Center Michelle John (Oneida), death benefits coordinator for the Oneida Nation
