Happy Friday the 13th!… oh and also Valentine's Day. This week we finally go through with our rom-com episode that we've been mentioning for years. We start out the episode talking a bit about the passing of Brad Arnold from 3 Doors Down. It definitely hit us hard. We go on to talk about a bunch of rom-com movies that we have seen over the years and we give our thoughts on them. Greg throws out some famous lines and sees if Alex can guess the movie it's from. You'll be surprised who is more of a rom-com fan!

Welcome to the Two Hundred & Third Edition of The Chronicles of Podcast, These are The Chronicles of The Oz Vlog We welcome Oz historian and The Oz Vlog host Tori Calamito for a magical deep dive into the wonderful world of Oz. Tori joins us to talk about her lifelong love for Frank L. Baum's Wizard of Oz universe and how discovering the original 1939 Wizard of Oz movie as a child sparked a passion that would grow into a career. From building an incredible collection of over 2,000 pieces of Oz memorabilia to becoming one of the most recognised voices in the Oz fan community, Tori shares how a childhood fascination turned into unforgettable real-life experiences. We discuss her favourite and least favourite Oz adaptations (yes, we're looking at you James Franco), whether Hollywood should attempt a Wizard of Oz remake, and how the world of Oz continues to shape pop culture more than 100 years after its creation. We also explore the lasting cultural impact of The Wizard of Oz, Wicked, and the broader Oz universe across film, theatre and fandom. Tori also tells us the story behind The Oz Vlog and her meteoric rise on social media, why she started the channel, and the incredible opportunities it has brought her. From interviewing the cast and crew of Wicked, to gifting Bowen Yang a Pfannee fanny pack (yes you read that correctly), to actually holding the original ruby red slippers, this conversation is packed with behind-the-scenes stories that Oz fans and movie lovers won't want to miss. Also this week, the show kicks off with Storytime with Tom as we dive into one of the strangest headlines of the year involving Olympic skiers at the Winter Olympics and some very unexpected microchipping. From there, we pay tribute to two fallen icons, 3 Doors Down vocalist Brad Arnold and Dawson's Creek star James Van Der Beek, reflecting on their impact and legacy and Jamie brings the weirdness back to the table with ASDA's new Valentine's event where shoppers grabbing a red basket are apparently single and ready to mingle. Naturally, we have questions. We also break down the so called controversial Super Bowl halftime show with Bad Bunny, which we thought was excellent, and talk about this year's standout Super Bowl commercials. The lads catch up on their weeks as Jamie returns to work, continues his WWE Survivor Series rewatch reaching Survivor Series 2005, and starts the new Marvel TV series Wonder Man. Meanwhile Tom enjoys a well earned week off celebrating his partner's birthday, catching up on TV shows and reacting to Scotland's disappointing start to the Six Nations. As always, Callum returns with a brand new Teachings, including a bold suggestion for next year's Super Bowl halftime show. Tom's Journal features the funniest things he has found on the internet this week. Our Single of the Week segment highlights two brand new song releases you need to hear. And Jamie's audience participation challenge asks what you would name your child if you had to name them after a 10 out of 10 album.

Clay breaks down the game's lowlights, standout performances like Sam Darnold's turnover-free run, and the MVP nod to defensive star Uchenna Nwosu. The real fireworks? The dueling halftime shows: Bad Bunny's divisive, colorful spectacle drawing criticism for being "woke" and disjointed, versus Turning Point USA's patriotic alternative featuring Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett—pulling in massive views and sparking debates on cultural divides. Clay also pays heartfelt tribute to Brad Arnold, the legendary frontman of Three Doors Down, who passed away after a battle with cancer. Well, it wasn't the outcome I was hoping for, but I did spend a full day with my wife & pets yesterday…enjoying lots of snacks, drinking a few beers, and yelling at the TV. Super Bowl 60 is in the books and congrats to the Seahawks on the victory. We recapped the game, the commercials, the musical performances, along with a bunch of other interesting stats and info. I actually took notes during the game to remind myself of the things I wanted to mention this morning. We let you know what's on TV today/tonight, and in the news…the latest on the disappearance of Savannah Guthrie's mother, the tragic deaths of Brad Arnold from "3 Doors Down" and Greg Brown of "CAKE". Elsewhere in sports, the Bucks have now won three in a row after beating Indiana on Friday, the Badgers lost to the Hoosiers on Saturday in overtime, an update on the US medal count at the Winter Olympics, and the terrible crash for Lindsey Vonn. Nikola Jokic is climbing the ranks of the NBA's greatest with another triple-double, a linebacker for the Falcons gets arrested for domestic abuse, the "hot mic" at the Olympics, and the Duke vs. UNC game. Remember the woman in Philly who had her car encased in ice after a water pipe burst? Well, she just got a new car thanks to Carvana. And check out this firefighter who rescued a bunch of puppies not too long ago and has now rescued two of them! With everything costing so much and all the holiday bills starting to roll in as we wait for our tax returns, it's a good opportunity for us to look at some ways to save money. And in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about Angry Orchard looking to trade some cider for your ex's belongings, some "lawn-gerie" from Natty Light just in time for V-Day, a truck that was doing donuts on a frozen lake falls through the ice, a woman who threw lasagna in her husband's face because he was being a "bunghole", a man who murdered his ex and then broke down at the police station after he realized he wouldn't be able to play GTA 6 if he ends up in jail, and a crazy video of someone getting a back tattoo inside a Wendy's restaurant.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
