Passenger 37: Disney Legend, Academy Award and Golden Globe-nominated producer, director, writer, painter — and drummer — who produced two of the world's most popular animated films: Disney's “Beauty & the Beast” and “The Lion King,” Don Hahn. Don Hahn is a true renaissance man, beginning his career in music, moving into producing some of Disney's most beloved animated features, before directing live action films and documentaries, writing popular books on Disney Animation and creativity, and attempting to capture the real world through "dabs of colored mud" in his iPad paintings. From “Beauty & The Beast,” The Lion King,” “Who Framed Roger Rabbit,” and “The Hunchback of Notre Dame," to “Maleficent,” “The Haunted Mansion” and “Howard,” Don has created intellectual properties and characters that have inspired many beloved location-based entertainment projects. Plan now to join our first Oscar-nominated guest (who also holds two honorary doctorate degrees!) aboard the time machine for what promises to be an epic journey with an extraordinary talent!

Author and Disney expert Aaron Wallace has long attended D23 Expo, now called D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, and recently attended the amazing Anaheim experience. Aaron, a longtime guest and friend of the podcast, is here to join host Brett Nachman to dish on everything he experienced and what we as Disney aficionados can be excited about over the coming years. Among the talking points include examining the logistics and execution of D23's ticketing and reservation system, the music-themed presentations and panels on topics like Mary Poppins and The Sherman Brothers, the star-studded and performance-heavy Honda Center events, and much more. Needless to say, Aaron and Brett have some hot takes on some of the theme parks announcements that surfaced and, at least for Brett, strong opinions on recent Disney Legends inductees. Aaron also shares some details about the recent Witches Run Amok: The Oral History of Disney's Hocus Pocus book, for which he contributed his knowledge and perspectives within Shannon Carlin's new release. Check out what Aaron Wallace has been up to by following him on Twitter/X (@aaronwallace) and Instagram (@aaronhwallace). Feel free to follow Brett on Twitter (@bnachmanreports), subscribe to the podcast, and send your feedback to notablydisney@gmail.com New episodes of the podcast debut on the first and third Tuesday of every month.

Not only did we grow up having Hannah Montana encouraging us to strive for greatness, but she literally inspired the entire concept behind this podcast, which is why we could not be happier for the youngest Disney Legend herself, Miley Cyrus. Both Alanna and Katie had jam-packed weekends that started at What The Buck… and ended at the same sushi restaurant for dinner on Sunday, but with separate people.
