In part one of this series on Jeffrey Dahmer, instead of doing a complete rehash of all his individual murders and all the grotesque details, the trial so on, since everyone knows who Jeffery Dahmer is, and his case has been covered by tons of true crime podcasts, documentaries, and tv shows, this stories has been told time and time again. So instead we wanted to discuss more of the mysteries that still surround this highly talked about serial killer. On July 27, 1981 in Hollywood Florida, a six-year-old boy went missing from a Sears store, and On July 22, 1991, almost 10 years to the day, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a 31-year-old man is arrested for the attempted murder of a young man. Soon it emerges that this attempted murder is on the lower end of the spectrum of evil as it is soon revealed that the 31-year-old man has murdered at least 17 people, and as time goes on and more details emerge, the depths of his depravity and unimaginable desires grow ever deeper. Dahmer appeared as an open book in his confessions and interrogations and even granted access to in-depth interviews to the media, but what about those 10 years and the many miles between those two locations? ***FOLLOW US on SOCIAL MEDIA***Join the "Elbow Deep Club" on Patreon for just $5/Month to get more exclusive content from Even the Podcast is Afraid, like our exclusive after show "After the Podcast is Afraid" and our video only podcast show "Monthly Sacrifice" & more.Visit our website eventhepodcastisafraid.com to check out our merch, listen to more episodes, see our sponsors, and dive through our detailed archive of all the shows we have released to date & more.Keep up with what we are doing by following us on social media, you can find us on Twitter @PodcastAfraid or on Instagram @PodcastAfraid You can also follow the hosts on Twitter, @jared_ordis, @thenickster15, & @spookysam8 + you can follow Jared & Nick on Instagram, @jared.ordis and @porchetta_sandwichEven the Podcast is Afraid is part of the Crawlspace Media Network, be sure to checkout their website to see all the shows offered on the CSM network.***SPONSORS & MORE MENTIONED in this EPISODE***SOUTHERN ODDITIES is an upcoming podcast from host Jared Ordis, which premieres on November 16th, 2020 on all your favorite podcast listening apps. The Nazis wanted to save Germany from the evildoers - the so-called racially impure; the Non-Aryans. Mixed in with this racialist foundation was a hearty helping of supernatural and occult beliefs - it is, of course, far easier to perpetrate evil in the name of religious or outlandish mythological beliefs.[FOLLOW US and BONUS CONTENT]Join our Patreon, for just $5/month, get elbow deep! you will get access to our after show "After the Podcast is Afraid" plus more bonus episodes & content, just visit patreon.com/ordisstudios Visit Our Website: eventhepodcastisafraid.comFollow us on Twitter @PodcastAfraid Follow us on Instagram @PodcastAfraid Part of the Crawlspace Media Network [NAZIS & the OCCULT ETPIA SERIES]This series was researched & written by Stephanie Kemmerer, for "Even the Podcast is Afraid"[THIS EPISODE is SPONSORED BY]Audible by Amazon - FREE for 30 Days visit [http://www.audibletrial.com/PodcastAfraid] or visit the Sponsors page on [https://www.eventhepodcastisafraid.com/sponsors] & click the "Click Here" under the Audible Logo[FURTHER READING] "Hitler's Monsters: A Supernatural History of the Third Reich" by Eric Kurlander[MUSIC USED in this EPISODE] Music from https://filmmusic.io"In Your Arms" by Kevin MacLeod (https://incompetech.com)License: CC BY (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/)

Why is the last stall on the left in Anchorage's Hotel Captain Cook bolted shut? It has to do with a possessive potty poltergeist. One who can be slightly mischievous and do things like cause people to feel uneasy or flick lights on and off. Or she can break into full poltergeist mode and exhibit paranormal activity like rattling stall walls and grabbing toilet users around the ankles. (Can you imagine?!) This is the tale of the Captain Cook's possessive potty poltergeist and how management found a way to try and appease her restless spirit while protecting guests at the same time. Adapted from the blog post "The Hotel Captain Cook’s Haunted Bathroom: A Case of a Possessive Potty Poltergeist."
