A new MP3 sermon from Hopewell Associate Reformed Presbyterian is now available on SermonAudio with the following details: Title: A Complex Saint/Sinner and His Gracious God Subtitle: Family Worship Speaker: James Hakim Broadcaster: Hopewell Associate Reformed Presbyterian Event: Devotional Date: 11/4/2023 Bible: 1 Kings 3 Length: 16 min.
Pastor prepares his family for the evening sermon at Covenant PCA in Panama City in 1Kings 3. In these twenty-eight verses, the Holy Spirit teaches us that saints in this life are still complex sinners, but that their God is a patient and gracious God. More important than wisdom and honor is to fear Him and keep His commandments, for this is man's end.

This is Draw The Line Radio Show with Jacki-E, presenting the best music from female producers and DJs. Helping me Draw The Line with her guest mix in the second hour, it's Daria Prislonova aka Saint Sinner. Originally from Russia she's been based in Spain since 2007 and has lived in Alicante, Ibiza, Barcelona and Madrid. The last two cities offered underground movements in which Dasha immersed herself and since lockdown she's begun to stand out on the Madrid scene, playing DJ sets in venues such as Fabrik, Stardust, & Stella. Her sound is best described as melancholic techno with a high emotional charge and electro influences. A Prophetic Warning To The Saint, Sinner & The State
The music at the beginning and the end of every episode is the song "Calm Me Down" by our daughter Hannah, you may know her as Saint Sinner. She is a Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter, an incredible producer, an innovative creator as a DJ artist, and she is an all-around amazing, inspiring human being with a beautiful soul. This is our 100th episode and we want to do something special! We don't have guests on the show, but we are making an exception for this special episode, and we thought the perfect person would be our daughter Hannah - Saint Sinner. We talk about what it's like to be our kid, messy church stuff, coming out, her music, and she is going to sing for you!! :-) Support the show

Icelandic dub techno icon, Aðalsteinn Guðmundsson, known as Yagya, is one of few artists we have encountered that prefer the LP format over EPs. Having consistently released an album every few years for more than 20 years, Yagya is about to release his 9th studio album, "Faded Photographs" later this month. Yagya described the LP as his "most involved and time-consuming project to date" and also pointed out that it "marks an exceptionally confident return to the art of songwriting". The album features vocals from Saint Sinner, Benoit Piolard, Bandreas, but the majority of the tracks on the album contain vocals solely from Guðmundsson himself. Today, we are honored to present the opening track from "Faded Photographs" - "The Downpour". The track emits many emotions we have come to expect from Yagya's work, nostalgia, melancholy, even mourning. Featuring strings from Pablo Hopenhayn, the track really gives a taste of what feelings to expect as one embarks on the rest of the album's journey. Yagya described the album as being "an utterly seamless experience, demanding to be heard as a whole", so it only felt right to premiere the opening track as to not interrupt the intended flow. "Faded Photographs" comes out on Yagya's own Small Plastic Animals on March 17, 2023 write up by https://soundcloud.com/sabro96 https://soundcloud.com/yagya https://www.facebook.com/yagyamusic/ www.itsdelayed.com www.instagram.com/_itsdelayed_ www.facebook.com/itsdelayed

After years as a CEO in the not-for-profit sector, Linda Goldspink-Lord quit the safety net of her job when her health took a turn for the worse. In 2012, Linda experienced every parent's worst nightmare when her daughter Molly was killed in a tragic accident on their property in the Illawarra. Having also recently lost her mother, and suffered major health problems of her own, Linda had to find a way out of the darkness, back to the light. Trying to recover from grief, Linda explored how her health was having an impact on her mental wellbeing. She looked into links between the gut and the brain, and made some big lifestyle changes. When her horses were struggling with their overall health, Linda looked into gut health for horses and so Poseidon Equine was born - scientifically formulated gut health supplements for horses. After that came Poseidon Canine - gut health support for dogs. And then Saint + Sinner alcoholic kombucha. Linda shares with us her story of building resilience after great loss, and why she'd never go back to the 9 to 5. And how she's built a business with purpose, and in partnership with her family. So many great tips and insight into running a business. Meet my friend Linda; business woman, author, speaker and incredible storyteller. We had the pleasure of interviewing Paul Mayson over Zoom video! Entrenched in love of house music, the musical landscape in Paul Mayson's head is one rich in a commix of sounds and influences. From remaking Cher's iconic track 'Believe' together with GRAMMY nominated singer/songwriter Saint Sinner to dropping his soulful house anthem 'Can't Trust The Way I Feel', the Dutch DJ/Producer now takes listeners on a timeless funk-filled voyage with his latest single 'Don't Let Me Down', featuring UK singer/songwriter Zac Pajak at the helm on vocals. The track incorporates delicate house grooves, warm chords and soulful samples, whilst Mayson pushes Zac out of his pop comfort zone to achieve a resounding performance from the gifted singer. It's a delectable track with brilliant production touches that contribute to 'Don't Let Me Down', perhaps being Paul's most superior dance record after signing with Sony Music and embarking on a new chapter in 2021. Mayson's early years in the studio were spent co-producing and co-writing for American pop and hip-hop artists such as Yelawolf, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony and Far East Movement. Today he is dedicated to sharing his love for house music and is deep into music discovery and crate digging, constantly seeking out new ideas and sounds from old records and fusing genres and styles. Stripping it back to its core and unpicking everything with sampling and programming at the heart of his music, Mayson's creative exploration is paying off. He recently got picked up by MTV to become their MTV Push Artist of the month for August and positioned himself as one of the most exciting and innovative dance music talents out of The Netherlands right now.Since releasing his debut single 'Again' in 2019, Zac Pajak's music has led him to perform live shows everywhere from Glastonbury to London's Roundhouse and contribute to hit music for artists as diverse as Major Lazer, Raye and McFly and continue to deliver his own brilliantly observed, expressive releases.Paul Mayson & Zac Pajak's ‘Don't Let Me Down' is out now via Sony Music. John Solleder continues his two-week special with Bill Nash, who talks about his colorful songwriting career and how it impacted his life. This time, Bill shares the most memorable people he worked with and the most interesting projects he took on. He goes even deeper with his collaboration with Reba McEntire and the unique process behind Diamond Rio's In God We Still Trust. Bill explains his time spent with Roy Orbison, Blake Shelton, and Perry Como, as well as how he met Johnny Cash as a teenager. He also discusses the inspiring story of boxerTermite Watkins, with whom Bill now partners with to help children at Champions Kids Camp.
Launching a songwriting career is not always glamorous. It also comes with a lot of rejection, with your most beloved songs turned down in the most depressing fashion. Joining John Solleder for a two-week special is songwriter Bill Nash. He reflects on how numerous producers rejected him before hitting the jackpot by writing Reba McEntire's hit single “They Asked About You.” Bill shares how building his successful career taught him to develop a tough skin against all odds and the right way to nurture relationships within his network. He also talks about Champions Kids Camp, an organization he co-founded with his wife Kim after going through a challenging yet miraculous time in their lives.

After a whole week of being with Jesus we go from saint to sinner. The third week of the Red Letter Challenge emphasizes forgiveness. Listen as the Hippie Christian shares what Jesus says about forgiveness and hear about some of the people Jesus forgave. If they can get forgiveness certainly we can too. Right? Listen as we learn what grace and mercy are all about. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
In part 2 of our interview with Lutheran/Country Music/Vocation powerhouse, Dr. Gene Veith (part 1 is here), author of “The Spirituality of the Cross: The Way of the First Evangelicals” (Concordia Publishing House), we chat country-music Christians (did you know Lyle Lovett and Kris Kristofferson are Lutherans?! Did you know Loretta Lynn's had a home, now abandoned, in Hawaii a few miles from my house?!) – what do we do with polarizing Christians like Hank Williams and Johnny Cash (are they “baby Christians”? Are they even Christians? Should we even ask this question?)? We also chat “closet Lutherans”, 1 John as it pertains to naval-Gazing/fruit-Checking and assurance, the paradoxes of Lutheranism that are so helpful (Law/Gospel, Saint/Sinner, etc.), the practice of confession of sins and absolution (”I forgive you”), and a few other precious gems of reality. To discuss the implications, get clarity, on this, or any of our episodes, head over to the Facebook group “Theology Applied” and join the discussion. Dr. Veith, in addition to being a medium of good news, is also a medium of communicating good country music. He is the author “Honky-Tonk Gospel: The Story of Sin and Salvation in Country Music” and so he knows some proper country tunes when he hears them.
In April, Paul Mayson marked the start of a new chapter in his career with the release of “Believe.” Featuring American Grammy nominated artist Saint Sinner, the record was an exciting signal of what was to come from the talented Dutch producer after a two year hiatus. Now we're just days away from getting some of the first club tunes from his new deal together with Sony Music, as his own and Ben Pearce's remixes of “Believe” drop this Friday! Turn it up for a listen at Paul's 2021 sound in his Spotlight Mix and read on to learn more about his big year!

Looking at Romans 5, 6, 7, 8 and briefly at the rest of of Romans. I explored these questions: What did we inherit from Adam? (What was/is "Original Sin"?) The Early Church differed from Augustine regarding this question. Who is Paul talking about in Romans 7 - himself and believers? Again, the Early Church had one view and Augustine introduced, or shall we say "invented" another view that the Reformers followed. Does the NT consider us "sinners" as Christians? These are extremely important issues and tragically, many Protestants have followed "traditions" for their answers. Martin Luther, was the originator of the concept of the Saint/Sinner dual identity. This message takes on these "traditions of men" and calls us back to the Biblical, Apostolic understandings.

Recorded live at the Toronto Comicon 2019, Salgood talks to Aaron about his colourful father Lionel who inspired him to create the upcoming, Bastards Tale to be serialized in his self-published comic RevolveR. They then move on to how he went from having artists like George Perez fawn over his work, doing sample pages for DC Comics from Neil Gaiman Sandman scripts and being offered to draw his own series for Marvel at 20-years-old under his real name Max Douglas, to drawing one comic issue in nine days and quitting books over personal conflicts with writers and editors. If you want to know how Salgood founded the Sequential Canadian Comix News and Culture blog because of his dyslexia and how it morphed into Sequential Magazine, this is also the place. What about how he goes about teaching creative people the ropes of comics making at Syn Studio in Montreal? Checkpoint Checky! You'll also hear about Salgood's desire to leave a legacy of his own in comics. Perhaps it will be through volume two of his comic Dream LifeSmaller bits include a story about an unpublished Ghost Rider project written by Warren Ellis, his one interaction with Clive Barker on Saint Sinner, the story of quitting a disaster Morbius: the Living Vampire script and....PIG SEX!!!! Welcome to episode 90! This week we discuss the made-for-SciFi movie 'Saint Sinner'. This was a 2002 movie and the story was written by Clive Barker. Sounds promising, doesn't it? Sadly, it was not good. This week we tried to keep the show as close to 30 minutes as we could... as a result, we have very few short topics. Madsaxxon suggests watching Demon Knight or Warlock and Lori makes a quick mention of the new season of Survivor. We usually find movie trailers on Youtube, but were unable to do so this week. Instead, we've posted a 'Saint Sinner' fan video. Thanks for joining us! Couldn't find a trailer, so... Why do people do the things they do, even “good Christians”? God gives us the answer in His Word, the answer that leads us to view ourselves and others with greater compassion and Jesus with greater appreciation.
