They called it Fox Hollow Farm, a quiet estate tucked away in the Indiana woods. By day, its owner, Herb Baumeister, was a family man, a businessman, someone who seemed perfectly ordinary. But at night, shadows lengthened, and secrets began to stir. Men vanished, whispers grew louder, and a chilling pattern emerged—one that would forever stain the ground where the farmhouse stood. What lay hidden beneath the surface was far darker than anyone could have imagined. As investigators began to connect the dots, they uncovered a chilling story that would leave a community shaken and questioning how well we ever truly know the people living next door.SOURCES: 1) UPI Focus: Sheriffs link 9 deaths to Indiana man2) Cold cases: Lyons homicide not only unsolved investigation3) Bone found during Sunday search of Herbert Baumeister property4) Remains found on serial killer's Indiana estate identified as man missing since 19935) While Julie Was Away6) The Hunter of Fox Hollow: Part One7) 'Several Tragedies' Still Left in Fox Hollow Farm Serial Killer Case, Coroner Says8) 10th victim identified in Fox Hollow Farm serial killer case in Indiana9) Encyclopedia of Indianapolis: Herbert R. Rex Heuermann is a 59-year-old architect from Massapequa Park, Long Island. He operated a Manhattan-based architectural firm, RH Consultants & Associates, and had over 30 years of experience in the field. He was described by neighbors as a typical family man, living with his wife and two adult children in a seemingly tight-knit community.Heuermann was arrested on July 13, 2023, as the prime suspect in the Gilgo Beach murders, a series of killings that took place over a decade ago. He was initially charged with the murders of three women: Melissa Barthelemy, Megan Waterman, and Amber Costello. These women, along with Maureen Brainard-Barnes, who Heuermann was later charged with murdering, are known as the "Gilgo Four"The "Gilgo Four" were all sex workers who disappeared at different times and whose bodies were found bound and wrapped in burlap along a quarter-mile stretch of Gilgo Beach between 2007 and 2010. The remains of these women were discovered in December 2010 during the search for another missing woman, Shannan Gilbert.Evidence and InvestigationAuthorities linked Heuermann to the murders through several pieces of evidence:DNA Evidence: A male hair found on Megan Waterman's body was matched to Heuermann through DNA analysis.Burner Phones: Heuermann allegedly used burner phones to contact the victims and to search for information about the case.Internet Search History: His internet history showed an obsession with the Gilgo Beach case, including searches related to the victims and the investigation Defense and Legal ProceedingsHeuermann's defense attorney, Michael Brown, has raised questions about the involvement of former Suffolk County Police Chief James Burke in the investigation, alleging potential suppression of the FBI's involvement.Brown is also exploring the possibility of another suspect, a former police officer with the initials "W.H.," which matched initials found on a belt related to one of the victims.Heuermann has pleaded not guilty to all charges and maintains his innocence. The case is complex, with a vast amount of evidence to be reviewed, and a trial is still a long way from taking place. Now, however, as more details are revealed, Rex Heuermann is about to be charged with two more murders. Jessica Taylor And Valerie Mack. A Serial Killer in the Suburbs of Paris The first victim was spotted by a passerby on August 13, 2025, as officials fished the body out of the Seine in a suburb of Paris near a known gay cruising spot. Divers searching the area found another body, then another, then another. As investigators search for answers and other possible victims, speculation swirls about the motive for the murders. The Brutal Murder of Jacob Zieben-Hood? On August 1, 2025, 34-year-old Jacob Zieben-Hood was found stabbed to death in the Harlem apartment he shared with his husband, Donald Zieben-Hood. Behind their social media image of happiness was a history of domestic violence, protective orders, and escalating threats. From alleged strangulation in February to a knife threat in June, the abuse intensified. On July 31, Jacob called his father during another violent altercation. Hours later, he was dead. Donald was found with self-inflicted wounds and arrested for violating a protective order. Christopher Hunnisett: Vicar's Murderer Freed to Kill Again When the dismembered body of a Reverend Glazebrook was found, his lodger, Christopher Hunnisett, was arrested and put on trial, and found guilty. Acquitted of the vicar's murder, Hunnisett went on a crusade to kill as many "pedos" as he could. Studying investigative techniques, Hunnisett followed a tip to 57-year-old Peter Bick, whom he assumed was an abuser. Pretending to be a date, Hunnisett went to Bick's flat and murdered him. Prosecutors have tied Rex Heuermann to the Gilgo Beach murders through a combination of traditional and advanced DNA analysis. Investigators recovered hairs from belts, tape, and burlap connected to several victims. Though many were rootless and degraded, advanced genome sequencing techniques by Astrea Forensics identified profiles linked either directly to Heuermann or to his family members, strengthening the circumstantial chain. Separately, investigators matched Heuermann's cheek swab to DNA taken from pizza crust he discarded, which had already been tied to one of the victims, further solidifying the genetic link. The defense has countered by questioning the reliability of these cutting-edge methods, highlighting that whole-genome sequencing of degraded samples is relatively new and that forensic software interpreting the results has had bugs and required updates. They argue these techniques risk overstating statistical certainty. Despite the pushback, a New York judge ruled the evidence admissible, making this one of the first times advanced DNA sequencing of degraded forensic samples will be used in a high-profile New York criminal trial.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:Gilgo Beach serial killer suspect Rex Heuermann's DNA links him to victim (nypost.com)

Sigourney Weaver stars as an agoraphobic psychologist dragged into a game of cat-and-mouse with a serial killer imitating history's most infamous murderers. Holly Hunter and Dermot Mulroney round out the cast, while Harry Connick Jr. chews the scenery as a crooning creep. In true Bad Dads style, we pull the film apart and ask:Does Copycat earn its place alongside the great psychological thrillers of the era, or is it just derivative drivel? Why are the cops so bad at protecting Weaver's supposedly “safe” apartment? How many times can a killer break in before you stop suspending disbelief? And was Sigourney right to say this was the performance she was most proud of?Alongside the movie, our Top 5 “copies” takes us everywhere from cloned astronauts and plagiarised authors to forged paintings, photocopied genitals, and questionable cover versions. We even put the lads through a brand-new quiz: Copy or Floppy (hint: it's exactly as puerile as it sounds).
Convicted murderer William Noguera was once the youngest man on California's death row. In 1983, the then-18-year-old and his 16-year-old girlfriend conspired to murder her mother, Jovita Navarro. While in prison, he started to work toward rehabilitation. He became interested in exposing some of his fellow residents of death row. He began working to gain the trust of the serial killers he was incarcerated with. Some, like Joseph Naso, began telling him their biggest secrets.Free now after around forty years, Noguera started his own podcast, Death Row Diaries. The investigation into Rex Heuermann and his activities away from Long Island continues to move forward as the FBI has now joined the investigation, at least in South Carolina. The spokesman for the Sheriff office cautioned, however, that there is zero physical evidence thus far connecting Heuermann to Julia Bean's disappearance, but with the circumstantial evidence (witness statements, etc) they feel its necessary to exhaust all possibilities as they continue to look for answers. to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:FBI probe reports of ties to missing woman and Rex Heuermann (nypost.com)

The Long Island Serial Killings, also known as the Gilgo Beach Murders or the Craigslist Ripper case, is an unsolved serial murder investigation centered around the discovery of numerous human remains on Long Island, New York. The case has been ongoing since 2010 and remains unsolved as of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021.The initial discovery took place on December 11, 2010, when police were searching for a missing woman named Shannan Gilbert, a sex worker who had gone to meet a client in Oak Beach, Suffolk County. During the search, police found the remains of four women in the vicinity of Gilgo Beach. These victims were later identified as Megan Waterman, Maureen Brainard-Barnes, Melissa Barthelemy, and Amber Lynn Costello, all of whom were also involved in sex work.As the investigation progressed, additional remains were discovered in the same area. In March and April 2011, six more sets of remains were found, along with the remains of an unidentified toddler, who came to be known as "Baby Doe" or "Jane Doe #6." The additional victims were identified as Jessica Taylor, Valerie Mack, Jane Doe #6 (the toddler), and an Asian male dressed in women's clothing. The police discovered that many of the victims had connections to the sex trade and had advertised their services on websites like Craigslist. This led investigators to suspect that a serial killer, dubbed the "Long Island Serial Killer" or "Craigslist Ripper," was specifically targeting sex workers in the area. The case gained significant media attention and sparked a large-scale investigation involving local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. The search for additional evidence continued over the years, including the use of cadaver dogs, aerial searches, and the excavation of specific areas. Despite these efforts, no further bodies were found. The investigation faced various challenges and controversies. Shannan Gilbert's disappearance and death were initially treated as unrelated to the serial killings. However, her death was later attributed to accidental drowning. The mishandling of the case and the delayed response to her initial 911 call raised questions about the police's handling of the investigation. In September 2017, the Suffolk County Police released new evidence, including photos of a belt that they believed may have belonged to the killer. They also released a recording of an anonymous phone call made by a man claiming to have information about the murders. However, no significant breakthroughs occurred following these releases. Now after more than a decade, a suspect has been arrested. This is a developing story.(commercial at 7:51)to contact me:bobbycapucci@porotonmail.comsource:Gilgo Beach serial killer suspect arrested for murders of 10 women on Long Island | The IndependentBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-moscow-murders-and-more--5852883/support.

In 1940s Italy, a desperate mother believed that turning three women into soap and tea cakes would save her son from dying in World War II.HOUR ONE: "It was a terrible sight… I have seen horrible sights, but never anything like this.” Those were the words of the local undertaker after seeing the results of a triple murder laying before him in 1932 Pennsylvania. (The Axe Murders of Lykens) *** A gypsy once told Leonarda that all of her children would die before her. A different fortuneteller told her that she faced either a future in prison or in a criminal asylum. And the reason she gave for becoming a serial killer is something you'd hear out of a bad direct-to-video horror film. And that's a tiny sample of this woman's insanely dark life – which began even before her birth. (The Woman Who Made Soap) *** Ireland's Loftus Hall is considered by many to be the most haunted location on all the Emerald Isle. But the most infamous story of Loftus Hall begins not with terror, but with romance… with a beautiful young girl falling madly in love with… the devil. (The Girl Who Fell In Love With The Devil) ==========HOUR TWO: 7-year-old Maria went missing in 1957, and while her body was later found, her murder was never solved and the case went cold – until 50 years later when the case was finally solved and closed. But it turns out everybody was wrong. (A Cold Case Finally Solved… Then Unsolved) *** If you take State Route 375 through Nevada you will pass by the infamous Area-51. But of course they are not going to let you in, even if you ask nicely. But State Route 375 isn't called the Extraterrestrial Highway just because of one area you can't visit – there's a lot more to it than that. (The 98-Mile Extraterrestrial Highway) *** Hikers sometimes get lost in the woods, as do children of course. But those on bikes almost never disappear; but there is one tragic case of a fat tire rider who couldn't be found. (The Vanished Mountain Biker) *** In 1910 two witnesses see a pair of lights that transform into radiant beings with “human form.” You might dismiss the report as misidentification of ball lightning or some other natural explanation – but in 1952 those radiant humanoid beings of light were seen again! (Close Encounters of the Fairy Kind)==========SUDDEN DEATH OVERTIME: More of the story of Ireland's Loftus Hall and the young girl who fell in love with the devil! (The Girl Who Fell In Love With The Devil) *** Chlorosis was a frequently diagnosed disease during the 19th century that gave the skin of the afflicted a greenish tinge. As a cure, doctors told young women to get married and reproduce. As you can probably surmise, the cure was not in the least bit effective. (The Girls Who Turned Green) *** Have you heard of the poor girl who was bullied and pushed down into a sewer by those whom she thought were her friends? I'll tell you the story. And while this episode is not a creepypasta episode, so all the stories are supposed to be non-fiction, that is… true, I will be sharing this urban legend anyway – because when it comes to urban legends, sometimes it's best to err on the side of caution and simply assume they are true. (The Urban Legend of Carmen Winstead) *** Weirdo Family member Brad Hicks describes the experience as “cool… and creepy as hell”. We'll tell you his story. (The Thing In The Light) *** More of the story of Ireland's Loftus Hall and the young girl who fell in love with the devil! Defending a client in a murder case where the evidence, including DNA, overwhelmingly points to their guilt is highly challenging. However, a skilled lawyer might employ several strategies to provide the best possible defense. So, what sort of strategy might be used by Rex Heuermann and his team at trial? Challenging the Evidence:Chain of Custody: The lawyer might question whether the evidence was properly handled from the crime scene to the courtroom, suggesting possible contamination or tampering.Forensic Procedures: They could scrutinize the methods used to collect and analyze the DNA evidence, aiming to find procedural errors that could undermine the reliability of the results.Alternative Theories:Third-Party Culpability: The defense might suggest that someone else had access to the crime scene and could have left the DNA, presenting alternative suspects.Consent or Innocent Transfer: If applicable, the lawyer might argue that the client's DNA was present due to consensual contact or innocent transfer, rather than through criminal activity.Questioning Witness Credibility:Inconsistencies: The lawyer could highlight inconsistencies in witness testimonies or point out any reasons witnesses might have to lie or misremember events.Bias and Motive: They might argue that witnesses are biased or have motives to falsely implicate the defendant.Psychological Defense:Mental Health: The lawyer could argue that the client was suffering from a mental disorder at the time of the crime, which impaired their ability to understand their actions or differentiate between right and wrong.Diminished Capacity: They might claim that the client's mental state, though not exonerating them completely, should mitigate their culpability.Procedural Defenses:Violation of Rights: The defense could argue that the client's constitutional rights were violated during the investigation, such as through unlawful search and seizure, leading to the suppression of critical evidence.Coerced Confession: If there is a confession, the lawyer might contend it was obtained through coercion, making it inadmissible.Plea Bargaining:Reduced Charges: If the evidence is overwhelmingly against the client, the lawyer might negotiate a plea deal for lesser charges or a reduced sentence, arguing for mitigating factors like the client's lack of prior criminal history or remorse.Humanizing the Client:Character Witnesses: The defense might bring in witnesses to attest to the client's good character, arguing that the crime is out of character and presenting them in a sympathetic light. Background and Circumstances: They could present evidence about the client's background, upbringing, and circumstances that might have led to their involvement in the crime, seeking to evoke empathy from the jury.(commercial at 12:04)to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:Defending the Devil: Serial Killer Lawyers Speak Out on Gilgo Beach Murders - Newsweek
When Jeffrey Dahmer was finally caught in 1991, his confessions to detectives revealed the full horror of his crimes. He admitted in chilling detail that he had lured men and boys back to his apartment, where he drugged, strangled, and dismembered them. He described how he kept body parts as trophies, including skulls and bones, and in some cases engaged in acts of necrophilia and cannibalism. His willingness to recount these actions without visible remorse shocked investigators, as he openly discussed his urges, rituals, and the escalating compulsion that drove him to kill.Dahmer explained to detectives that he had begun killing in the late 1970s and that his crimes grew more methodical and grotesque over time. He spoke about his desire to create “zombies” by drilling into victims' skulls and attempting to inject chemicals, a twisted effort to make them submissive and permanently under his control. His confessions painted a picture of a man consumed by obsession, driven by both sexual compulsion and a profound need for domination. The level of detail he provided gave law enforcement the clearest view into his psyche and the systematic way he carried out his murders, making his case one of the most infamous in modern criminal history.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:confession1.pdf
Gary Michael Hilton is an American serial killer and handyman who gained notoriety for his crimes in the early 2000s. He was convicted of several murders, most notably the 2007 slaying of Cheryl Dunlap, a nurse and Sunday school teacher in Florida. Hilton's modus operandi often involved targeting hikers and outdoors enthusiasts in remote areas, leading to his nickname "The National Forest Serial Killer." He was known for his brutality and lack of remorse. Hilton is currently serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole.Gary Michael Hilton's criminal activities became more widely known after his arrest in 2007 for the murder of Cheryl Dunlap, but evidence suggests he may have been involved in other killings prior to that. Born in 1946, Hilton had a troubled past and a history of run-ins with the law, including charges for theft and assault. His most notorious crime occurred in December 2007 when he abducted Cheryl Dunlap, a registered nurse and Sunday school teacher, from a hiking trail in Florida's Apalachicola National Forest. Dunlap's body was found decapitated over a month later. The brutality of the crime shocked the community and drew widespread media attention.During the investigation into Dunlap's murder, authorities discovered that Hilton had been living a transient lifestyle, often camping in national forests and preying on unsuspecting hikers and campers. This revelation led to speculation that he may have been responsible for other unsolved disappearances and murders in similar areas across several states. In 2008, Hilton was also linked to the murders of John and Irene Bryant, an elderly couple who disappeared while hiking in North Carolina's Pisgah National Forest. Their bodies were later found, and Hilton was convicted of their murders as well.Hilton's methods were often brutal and opportunistic. He would target individuals who were alone in remote areas, using his knowledge of the wilderness to evade capture. After his arrest, Hilton showed little remorse for his crimes and was ultimately sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole as well as getting the death penalty for his crimes in Florida. In the mid-1990's, convicted rapist Moses Sithole went on a murderous rampage in South Africa. He would blame his sadistic crimes on being falsely imprisoned for a rape conviction in 1989 for which he would serve four years. But he wasn't, of course, falsely convicted. He had been raping woman after woman after luring them out into a secluded area with the promise of a new job. The same con he would later use to lure nearly 40 women to their deaths in 1994 and 1995. As new victims emerge and trial strategies clash, Dr. Phil explores the lasting trauma, evolving M.O., and dark psychology behind the Gilgo Beach murders. The bodies were just the beginning. In Part 3 of the Gilgo Beach investigation, Dr. Phil dives deeper into the mind of the alleged killer and the ripples of destruction still unfolding. A decades-old cold case. Graphic crime scene notes. A daughter's dark art. A mother murdered by her own child. This isn't fiction it's what's surfaced since Rex Heuermann's arrest. Dr. Phil unpacks the psychological rituals of serial killers, from their obsession with control to the twisted fantasy rehearsals that fuel their crimes. Why do their methods evolve? How do they evade capture for decades? And what scars are left behind for the families—both of the victims and the accused? This episode also revisits Shannan Gilbert, the woman whose 911 call started it all, and the tragic murder of her mother, Mary, who fought tirelessly for justice before becoming a victim herself. In the latest episode of Tin Foil Hat, Sam Tripoli welcomes special guest Kelsi Sheren for a powerful and eye-opening conversation that pulls no punches. We dive deep into the unsettling rise of communism in Canada and how it's reshaping the nation under the guise of progressive policy. From there, we expose the growing issue of information censorship—what you can't say in Canada might shock you. The discussion expands into replacement theory and how it's playing out across Western nations like Canada, Europe, Australia, and the United States, challenging listeners to question the narratives they've been fed. Things get even darker as we examine the MAID (Medical Assistance in Dying) program in Canada, uncovering its disturbing ties to eugenics and population control. But it's not all doom and gloom—we also explore the transformative power of psychedelics in healing trauma, offering hope and resilience in the face of an increasingly controlled world.
