Send me a DM here (it doesn't let me respond), OR email me: imagineabetterworld2020@gmail.comToday I'm honored to have back on the show once again: Podcast Regular, United Church Minister turned whistleblower, Canadian Hero, humanitarian, father of two, published writer and author, public speaker and podcaster, documentary filmmaker, Nobel Peace Prize nominee, co-founder of the International Tribunal into Crimes of Church and State, righteous soul, and Eagle Strong Voice: Kevin AnnettIn case you missed any of Kevin's past episodes or our ‘Movie Night' feature where we aired his acclaimed documentary, ‘Unrepentant' on this channel, here is a brief intro to his testimony and background along with some information on what we will be talking about today: Kevin's early life was shaped by compassion and a call to serve as a United Church minister in Port Alberni, British Columbia, in the early 1990s. There, Indigenous survivors of Canada's residential schools revealed a hidden genocide - abuse, forced sterilizations, and child deaths orchestrated by church and state. Kevin's refusal to stay silent led to his 1997 defrocking, a historic first for political reasons. Undeterred, he documented survivors' stories and produced the 2006 documentary Unrepentant, which exposed these atrocities and helped prompt Canada's 2008 apology to Indigenous survivors. His investigations reached global elites, including the Vatican, leading him to co-found the International Tribunal into Crimes of Church and State in 2010. His work with the International Common Law Court of Justice contributed to Pope Benedict XVI's 2013 resignation, a historic event linked to allegations of church crimes. Despite facing smear campaigns, death threats, and blacklisting, Kevin has earned Nobel Peace Prize nominations for his relentless pursuit of justice.Through his radio program Here We Stand and the Republic of Kanata, a movement for self-governance under common law, Kevin has inspired thousands to reject centralized power. His tireless advocacy, from Indigenous communities to international tribunals, amplifies the marginalized and challenges the powerful.Kevin life is a testament to the power of one individual to ignite change. From a small church in Port Alberni to the global stage, he has exposed truths that shook empires and inspired a movement for sovereignty. As Kevin continues to lead by example, his story reminds us that courage, truth, and solidarity can dismantle even the most entrenched systems of oppression. In a world hungry for freedom, Kevin stands as a beacon, showing us how to govern ourselves - and build a future worthy of our highest aspirations.CONNECT WITH KEVIN:Email: angelfire101@protonmail.comPhone: 289-680-8724Websites:-Republic of Kanata: https://republicofkanata.org/-Radio Free Kanata: https://bbsradio.com/radiofreekanata-'Murder by Decree' & other books published by Kevin: https://murderbydecree.com/#books-'Unrepentant' Documentary: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Czej73SfYJcCONNECT WITH THE IMAGINATION:EMAIL: imagineabetterworld2020@gmail.comMy Substack: https://emmakatherine.substack.com/BUY ME A COFFEE: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/theimaginationAll links: https://direct.me/theimaginationpodcastRIFE TECHNOLOGIES:Support the show

This week, in New Britain, Connecticut, what starts out as a missing woman, who police assmue was killed by her dirtbag boyfriend, turns into a massive investigation, that has nothing to do with that boyfriend. They uncover seven bodies, and they are linked to a man, who lives in his van, which he calls "the murder mobile". He eventually tells all his sick secrets, incling how he planted "seeds" in his "murder garden"!! Along the way, we find out that when crime is up, just rename a street "Little Poland", that if you don't want to be considered a serial killer, you probably shouldn't give yourself a killer's nickname, and that no matter how many times you say you don't like murder, if you kill 7 people, you like murder!! This week we literally cannot get over the gaslighting that's happening with Jeffrey Epstein. Tin foil hats are staying on until further notice. We also dive into the Annabelle doll haunting (and…murder??), a man begging to be cursed by satanists and witches, a Christmas present that ended up being a severed toe, and a TikTok cult growing in real time. Like we said…tin foil hats ON.
On Friday, December 12, 1980 at approximately 6:45 in the morning, the Mississippi County Sheriff’s Department got a call about a female body lying on the side of Highway 181, just south of Highway 158. The woman was dressed in a striped red colored dress and velveteen jacket and was five foot five. She weighed around 115 pounds. It wasn’t hard to figure out the cause of death. Barbara had massive holes blown into her body by a shotgun. The shots were so violent that pieces of her hair and skull were found 20 feet away. And...there were suspicions that a police officer may have been involved. Timestamps: (7:58) - Stockdale Family In 2008, the Stockdale family from Ohio appeared on the reality TV show ‘Wife Swap.' Kathy and Timothy Stockdale were raising their four sons in a very strict, conservative manner. This is an excerpt from the family manual Kathy prepared for ‘Wife Swap.' We moved to the country to get the boys away from the city. Our children are being raised away from violent language, sexual influences, drinking, smoking, drugs, rap music all the things we left behind in the city. Instead we are raising our children on a diet of wholesome activities and farm work; keeping their minds pure and their bodies healthy and keeping out the influences of modern society. That is why we home-school. By 2017, two of the children remained in the family home - Jacob and James. One day that year, while Timothy was at work, Jacob fatally shot his brother James and his mother Kathy. He then attempted to take his own life by shooting himself in the head. He survived and was hospitalised for many months. After he recovered, Jacob was charged with the murders of his mother and brother. No motive for the killings has ever been revealed. In this episode of the True Crime Society Podcast, we discuss the murder/suicide involving the Stockdale family from ‘Wife Swap.' We're on our break, so enjoy this release of an episode from 2022, originally released exclusively on our Patreon! This is the true story behind the 2012 Richard Linklater movie, Bernie, starring Jack Black, Shirley McClaine, and Matthew McConaughey. It's about an assistant funeral director, Bernie Tiede, who everyone in town loves, and who befriends a rich, elderly widow named Marjorie Nugent, who nobody likes. Marjorie becomes more and more controlling and more demanding, and Bernie goes to extreme lengths to get out from under her grasp. It's described as a black comedy, of course with Jack Black at the helm, but after hearing more of the details of the case, it left people wondering: was the real Bernie Tiede the doting saint he was portrayed to be, or a conniving con man? Chicago Man Charged with Murder and Arson in Fatal Apartment Fire That Killed Four, Including Pregnant Woman and Child A 23-year-old Chicago man, Lontray Clark, has been charged with multiple counts of murder and arson after allegedly setting fire to an apartment building in the Austin neighborhood in Chicago on June 26, 2025. The blaze resulted in the deaths of four individuals, including a pregnant woman and her 5-year-old son, and left several others injured. According to prosecutors, Clark became enraged after discovering that his ex-girlfriend was dating his friend. After seeing a photo of the couple on social media, Clark allegedly purchased gasoline and materials to create a Molotov cocktail, which he used to ignite the apartment building located at 5222 W. North Avenue. Surveillance footage reportedly captured Clark buying gasoline and other items prior to the incident. The fire broke out around 1:50 a.m., trapping residents inside the building. The victims who perished in the fire were identified as Brad Cummings, 76, editor of the Austin-based newspaper The Voice; Regina Henry, 32, who was three months pregnant; her 5-year-old son, Jayceon Henry; and Regina's sister, Destiny Henry, 28. Destiny's 4-year-old son, Kyle, was critically injured and remains hospitalized. Clark's ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend, who were the apparent targets of the attack, managed to escape the blaze by climbing out of a window. Clark was arrested in Springfield, Illinois, and is being held without bail. He faces multiple charges, including eight counts of murder, four counts of aggravated arson, two counts of attempted murder, and one count of residential arson Community members and family of the victims have expressed grief and outrage over the incident. Reverend George Smith Jr., a relative of the Henry family, stated, "He took precious lives from us and justice will be served." The fire displaced at least 28 residents and required the response of approximately 140 firefighters. Clark is scheduled to appear in court on Monday Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? James Patterson's new book, The Idaho Four: An American Tragedy, offers a detailed and emotionally charged narrative of the 2022 murders of four University of Idaho students—Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin. The book reconstructs the victims' final hours and the immediate aftermath of the killings, weaving together personal details about their lives, relationships, and the horror of what took place inside their off-campus home. Patterson brings readers inside the crime scene, the families' heartbreak, and the small-town panic that erupted as police struggled to explain the brutality of what had occurred. The second half of the book zeroes in on Bryan Kohberger, the man who ultimately pleaded guilty to the murders. Patterson paints a chilling profile of a socially alienated criminology student who studied the psychology of killers and believed he could execute the perfect crime. The narrative follows how Kohberger's mistakes—especially leaving behind a knife sheath—led to a meticulous investigation that unraveled his plan. Combining investigative detail with fast-paced storytelling, the book challenges readers to weigh the evidence for themselves, positioning them as the jury in a case that still echoes with unanswered questions and shattered lives.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:New book on University of Idaho murders sheds light on Bryan Kohberger's potential motive - ABC NewsJames Patterson's new book, The Idaho Four: An American Tragedy, offers a detailed and emotionally charged narrative of the 2022 murders of four University of Idaho students—Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin. It's our 200th episode! Can you believe it? For such a special occasion, Katie and Liz felt there needed to be a big story to celebrate… what's bigger than the Boston Strangler? Join the girls on this episode of True Crime New England as they go into the nitty and gritty details revolving around the infamous Boston Strangler killings that occurred between June of 1962 and January of 1964. Officially, 11 women were murdered, all with the same M.O., and hope of catching the killer didn't seem to be possible until one day, several months after the murders stopped, a man named Albert DeSalvo confessed. He was never charged with the murders due to being stabbed to death while incarcerated for other crimes, and his confession is widely unaccepted by a lot of people who have been interested in the case for decades.

### Brandon Block Party Turns Deadly: FAFO Champ Ryan Mosley Busted for Murder! In a hard-hitting FAFO Championship segment, Clay Edwards crowns Ryan Mosley (31) as the "f'ed around and found out" winner for a fatal shooting at a city-sanctioned block party on June 21, 2025, in Brandon's 200 block of Mary Miles Drive. Permitted by Mayor Butch Lee's office (with city floodlights & barricades), the event erupts in gunfire – two males shot, transported privately to Merit Health Rankin. Victim Collier succumbs; the other survives. Mosley, also wounded, arrested post-hospital for 1st-degree murder & felon w/ firearm ($1M bond). Shoutout to Brandon PD & Chief Joseph French: "Dedication to justice – great team keeping neighborhoods safe!" Clay questions permitting without security: "High-risk; require overtime cops & liability insurance. Pandering for votes? Lowering standards leads to this – don't South Jackson my Brandon!" Rant on avoiding sketchy events: "If you need a gun, don't go!" Ties to cultural rot & reevaluating block-party policies.

Then, his second tale is the story of some of the residents of a housing development outside of Houston, built on a forgotten cemetery, who claim that the spirits of those whose remains were disrespected were both awakened and angered by the destruction of their final resting place. Lynze has three stories today! Her first also takes us to Texas where a strange situation occurs with a neighbor. Then, a woman traveling alone has the creepiest taxi ride to her hotel. Lastly, a young boy runs into the former owner of his Grandmother's home. Scared To Death Merch: Exciting new merch is up in the store! On June 6, 1986, a single mom of three awakes to find her 4-year-old daughter has been abducted from her bed near Lexington, South Carolina. The family is desperate to find her. The girl's sister tells law enforcement she saw a man in a ‘magic hat' carry her sister out the window. However, there is no sign of the youngster. The days, weeks, months, and years pass without answers as the missing girl's mother battles racism, corruption, and a bungled police investigation that ignores key evidence. Finally, decades after the abduction, and with the involvement of a private investigator, an arrest is made. The young girl's family is entirely unsurprised at the perpetrator's identity - it was someone they suspected all along. In episode 360, Jac and Alexis detail the heartbreaking abduction and murder of Jessica Gutierrez at the hands of Thomas Eric McDowell, and the importance of law enforcement listening to families, instead of stonewalling them.
Maurice – or Melissa, as they sometimes introduced themselves – was 22 when they were shot and killed in Phoenix, Arizona. They were just starting to build a name for themselves as a performer, making it to the regional final for American Idol and acting in dozens of local productions, including The Wiz, Westside Story, and Alice in Wonderland. But the curtain fell too soon…According to friends and family, gender identity was fluid for Maurice. They sometimes presented as femme and went by Melissa, as they did the night of the shooting. This led both LGBTQ+ activists and local officials to fear that maybe this was a hate crime. Maybe… But investigators have struggled to pin down a definitive motive – and the killer. If you have any information at all about the murder of Maurice Dupree Green, also known as Melissa, in March of 2006, please come forward. Hey Wiretappers, listen to my short bonus episode. I'm looking for mob fans to read the first half of a memoir about my life, which is partly about being a cop and mostly about the Civella Spero War. Email me at ganglandwire@gmail.com and I'll send you a pdf to read. It's about 22,000 words. Once it's done, I'll send you a copy This week, we journey back to the early 1900s—a time when the first wave of Sicilian immigrants brought more than just dreams of opportunity to America. They also brought with them an age-old criminal code that would lay the foundation for the American Mafia as we know it. Our story begins with the Mustache Petes—those old-world mafiosi who preyed on their own immigrant communities through intimidation, extortion, and a cunning knack for organized crime. One of their earliest rackets? Counterfeiting.

This week, we continue this murderous tale, with our killer, continuing his reign of terror. He's very busy, murdering a friend of his, who had rejected his previous advances. Why? Because no one showed up to his party. He also hits the road, robbing, raping, and killing his way up & down the highway. Police catch a huge break, and they start to keep an eye on Randy, sitting outside his house. Will they close in, before he's able to kill even more, or destroy any more evidence??
