On this episode the podcast, host Amanda Head talks with Tiffany Justice, co-founder of Moms for Liberty, to explore the pivotal role of parental rights in President Trump's re-election campaign. Justice shares her personal journey, recounting her emotional reaction to Trump's victory and his strong stance against gender ideology. The conversation dives into the erosion of common sense and the rise of woke culture, fueled by media and Hollywood's promotion of extreme ideologies. Justice underscores the importance of truth-telling, educational transparency, and school choice in combating these challenges. The pair go on to discuss the potential for transformative change under a Trump-led Department of Education, featuring Linda McMahon as Secretary, and the critical need for parental rights advocacy in today's political climate. You can find and follow Tiffany Justice and her organization, Mom's For Liberty” on X by searching for these two handles: @4TiffanyJustice and @Moms4Liberty.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
Lindsey Beckham W/ Mom's For Liberty joins the show to breakdown the Carly Gregg verdict and the online argument she has with one of her defense attorneys at 1:00am the morning of closing arguments. We also hit a wide range of other topics while dealing with some technical issues along the way, still ended up being a pretty strong show and I feel like most of you will enjoy it. I've started livestreaming the show on my social media platforms so during the radio commercial breaks we're staying in the online chat and discussing whatever you guys want to talk about!

1. Jackson, Mississippi had 3 mass shootings in less than 24 hours with a total of 12 people being shot including a 16 years old, a 8 year old and a man killed. Why is there little to no media coverage of this, could it be because the shooters weren't white? 2. Lindsey Beckham with Mom's For Liberty calls in to discuss some important legislation that will die if it doesn't come out of committee today. 3. Jackson mayor Chokwe Antar Lumumba says the city will start arresting and perp walking litter bugs 4. Joe Biden denies making Easter Sunday share the day with Transgender day of visibility, even though the white house released a proclamation with his name all over it. 5. Left-wing nut jobs on X tried to start a hashtag last night called "TrumpIsHiding because he didn't post on Truth social for a few hours. So let me get this straight, when he talk they hate him, when he doesn't talk they also hate him? We play a sound bite of the msm claiming "The walls are closing in" on him dating back to 2015.

Roberta Lewis W/ Mom's For Liberty calls into the show to tell us her story about her son being arrested, removed from the family home, put into a mental health facility for two weeks (during Christmas), and expelled from school. You might be asking yourself what could he have possibly done for such drastic measures to be taken? He posted a snapchat video of a hunting trip with his father where he killed a deer, then took a pic of it and the gun. That's right folks, something 90% of us and or our kids do every hunting season here in Mississippi. By the way, this happened in super red state, the Republican of Oklahoma! 2. I go on to rant for the rest of the show about this being exactly how you create a domestic terrorist if you're the U.S. or State government.

Joe Biden is such a racist that he came out yesterday and admitted that more black folks are on welfare and that democrat policies clearly aren't working for them because they'll be the hardest hit by a government shutdown. 4. Speaking of Taylor Swift, she had a meltdown a couple of years ago concerning Donald Trump and some women that was running for political office in Tennessee (we have the video / audio of her meltdown) 5. We're still working on getting back up and running so in the meantime, here's an old bonus episode. This is our March 2022 discussion of Art Spiegelman's Maus, to go with our public episode from February 2022 about the McMinn County School Board in Tennessee removing the classic graphic novel about the Holocaust from the curriculum. Sadly, this is relevant again because yet another school board - this time in Nixa, Missouri - has targeted the book. It's not alone either. Nor is Maus the only classic Holocaust text being targeted. Ann Frank's diary is in the crosshairs of Mom's For Liberty. From the dark and cold winter encampment of Valley Forge, Washington launched one of the War's riskiest campaigns: to feed and clothe his army, and prevent its soldiers from starving, dispersing, or deserting. Ricardo A. Herrera, Visiting Professor of History at the Army War College, tells us about his book, Feeding Washington's Army: Surviving the Valley Forge Winter of 1778. We hear about the campaigns of Nathanael Greene, Anthony Wayne, and Henry Lee to gather cattle, sheep, and wheat, and John Barry's attacks on the Jersey marshlands to distract the British Navy. Rick Herrera is an award-winning historian, a former Armor and ?Cavalry officer in the U.S. Army, and author of For Liberty and the Republic, is an intellectual history of the Army's soldiers from the Revolution to the Civil War.

Wisconsin Conservative Conversations Welcomes Mom's For Liberty, Ozaukee County Chair Scarlett Johnson August 23rd, 2022 It is often said that “children are our future”. The question is who has control, influence, and say so over our children? For years the radical Left have attempted to exert their influence over our children to the point it has diminished parental authority. However, more and more parents are pushing back and taking the fight to the school boards. Tonight we are joined by Scarlett Johnson, a member of the Mom's For Liberty, to talk about what we can do to reclaim our schools and our children.

James Pula on "The Eleventh Corps at Gettysburg: a Reappraisal" For More Info: WWW.ChicagoCWRT.Org The twin disasters that befell the XI Corps at Chancellorsville and Gettysburg have cast a long shadow over the memory of the brave men who served and suffered in that unit. James Pula focuses on commanders' decisions and on the experience of common soldiers in telling a more balanced tale. Pula will maintain that, far from being the “Flying Dutchmen” of popular belief, the men of the XI Corps were good soldiers unworthy of the stigma that has haunted them to this day. James S. Pula is a professor of history at Purdue University North Central. He was twice awarded the Polish American Historical Association's prestigious Oskar Halecki Prize for outstanding books on Polonia as well as the Mieczyslaw Haiman Award for contributions to the study of Polonia. His Civil War books include For Liberty and Justice: A Biography of Brigadier General Wlodzimierz B. Krzyzanowski, 1824-1887; The Sigel Regiment: A History of the Twenty-Sixth Wisconsin Volunteers; and Under the Crescent Moon: With the XI Corps in the Civil War. A member of my Supporting Listeners group suggested that I revisit the old Ron Paul days (the 2008 campaign in particular) for the sake of the young folks who weren't around for them and don't understand how significant they were. I've got some pretty detailed recollections here that I'm sure you'll enjoy. And since next month at the Young Americans for Liberty event I'll be on a panel commenting on the great For Liberty documentary about the 2008 campaign, the time seemed right to do this. Extraordinary things happened in those days. Enjoy.
NOTE: This show was originally released on June 10, 2018. Union City's Chris Garlock hosts, with Joe McCartin, Julie Greene and Ben Blake. This week's labor history: Joe, Ben and Julie discuss Eugene Debs, railroad union leader and socialist. He founded the American Railway Union on June 13, 1893, and on June 16, 1918, Debs spoke out on the relationship between capitalism and war; 10 days later he was arrested and eventually sentenced to 10 years in jail. PLUS: Patrick Dixon interviews Mark Dudzic on the founding of the Labor Party in the U.S. and this week's Labor History Object of the Week is an AFL-CIO letter boycotting Nazi Germany, part of the exhibit “For Liberty, Justice, And Equality: Unions Making History In America” at the George Meany Labor Archives at the University of Maryland College Park campus. This week is all about taking the word “uncultured” out of our vocabularies. Let's face it, everyone has a culture; think about it, culture is a set of values and beliefs that people practice daily and on special occasions! So, let's be more mindful and receptive of everyone's cultures and traditions, and maybe we'll be inspired to take something from each one we learn about! I am so very grateful and blessed to have the traditions my Italian culture has provided me, but I'm also incredibly proud to have my American traditions as well! So let's celebrate those cultures that all help make America great:) Ask your friend or neighbor some of their traditions and notice the common themes between them... you might be surprised! I hope you all enjoy, and please share your story with me on culture or immigration, I'd love to have a discussion! Have an amazing weekend and make sure to like, share and subscribe! The question of the day is.... Are third parties actually harming their effort more than they're hurting it? As many of you know, I'm not only a vocal member of and advocate for the Libertarian Party, but I am also actively involved in the Jorgensen / Cohen campaign... So Theodore Quinoa's decision to surprise me with his new idea of ending all third parties by the fourth quarter, is the kind of thing this show is all about. ;) Theodore was on the show back in episode 111 (http://www.tsidpod.com/111-how-to-crowd-fund-a-government-w-theodore-of-crowdfundedgov/) to discuss his idea of "crowd funded government". He hit me up for this chat and only said that he had a "surprise announcement" and that he didn't even want to tell me what it was because he wanted my candid reaction to it. You know me... I'm all about the casual raw uncomfortable conversations. Quinoa's new idea involves attempting to convince all third party members and politicians to leave their party and join the duopoly. But how?! Why?! And isn't that heresy?! Find out now on today's episode of The System is Down episode 176: End ALL Third Parties... For Liberty w. From the Simplr studios in San Francisco, this is your daily briefing. With your Retail E-Commerce Briefing for today, Wednesday, December 4th, I'm Vincent Phamvan.IntroductionBeauty advent calendars haven’t always been in demand, but as they’ve evolved, beauty brands and retailers are now capitalizing on high consumer interest to drum up new customers for the holidays.First, here are some retail headlines.Lord & Taylor Opens Small-Format Store in NYCAt the beginning of the year, Lord & Taylor closed its massive New York store after more than 100 years in business. Now, the department store will end 2019 by opening a new small-format store in Manhattan this holiday season. The new shop will be just 2,400 square feet, much smaller and tightly curated than its flagship on Fifth Avenue. The small-format store will open for two weeks in mid-December in New York’s SoHo district. This will give Le Tote, the company’s new owner, a chance to re-connect with shoppers in the midst of the busy holiday shopping season.Best Buy Looking to Continue to Scale Fulfillment OptionsBest Buy launched order pickup services in 175 CVS and UPS stores in New York this quarter. According to the company’s CEO, Corie Barry, they are “focused on expanding both our fulfillment options and in-home resources.” Roughly 99 percent of Best Buy customers live in an area where next-day delivery is available, up from 80 percent last quarter. For customers who choose to buy online and pick-up in-store, 80 percent of orders are ready in under 30 minutes. The company is looking to scale the program nationally after the holidays.Cyber Monday Once Again Big Day For AmazonFor Amazon, Cyber Monday was yet again, “the single biggest shopping day in the company’s history, based on the number of items ordered worldwide.” The e-commerce giant also said that its Marketplace sellers sold more items during Cyber Monday than any other 24-hour period in the company’s history. The company noted customers bought a record number of Amazon devices globally over the holiday weekend. The announcement came shortly after Adobe reported Cyber Monday sales hit a record of $9.4 billion dollars in retail this year.Growing Beauty Advent Calendar Craze Boosts Brand Awareness and Customer AcquisitionAdvent calendars are a holiday staple for many households, traditionally filled with chocolates behind 24 small doors. But what about beauty advent calendars? They aren’t a new phenomenon, with some being introduced by companies as early as 2013, but they’ve evolved significantly. They’ve become more sophisticated and elaborate, including higher-value items, and often coming with a premium price tag.Now in its sixth year, Liberty’s beauty advent calendar priced at $277 dollars remains the retailer’s fastest-selling product in its 147-year history. After trialing an advent calendar that sold out within seven minutes, fragrance brand Jo Loves doubled down for 2019 with a Christmas tree calendar that contained exclusive products and brand favorites for $390 dollars. The day that Jo Loves calendar went on sale marked the brand’s biggest e-commerce sales moment to date, bringing in record traffic levels. The beauty advent calendar can be used as a discovery tool for new customers. For a multi-brand retailer like Liberty, the beauty advent calendar offers customers a chance to try new products they wouldn’t have considered before. With a curated mix of popular brands and newer or lesser-known products, Liberty is able to entice customers while also promoting awareness of alternative offerings in the store. It’s also a great way to bring in new customers. For Jo Loves, about 50 percent of calendars were sold to new customers. For Liberty, 56 percent of sales this year also came from new customers. Jo Loves general manager said, “It really gives people who don’t necessarily know the brand the opportunity to try lots of different things within the range.” While currently a UK-centric trend, awareness is starting to grow largely thanks to social media. Nordstrom and Bloomingdales are now selling beauty calendars and Target is offering a $10 dollar bath bomb calendar.ClosingWant to stand out? Simplr can help deliver wow moments for your customers through unparalleled customer service support. Visit simplr.ai to learn more. That’s S-I-M-P-L-R.ai.Thanks for listening to this latest episode of the Retail E-Commerce Briefing. We'll see you tomorrow.

Does allowing hate speech get such ideas into the open, where they can be defeated? How do we understand “trigger warnings” and "safe spaces" from a free speech perspective? Do existing legal guidelines on regulating speech work for all universities? How do we balance the right to speak, with the right to participate in open and robust debate? How much deference should courts give to universities in setting their own free speech norms? What constitutes “low value” speech? How can these definitions remain narrow enough not to restrict certain types of speech? What happens when democratic rules are applied to suppress speech? I spoke with Professor Alexander Tsesis who teaches at Loyola University’s School of Law in Chicago. His books include Constitutional Ethos, For Liberty and Equality: The Life and Times of the Declaration of Independence, We Shall Overcome: A History of Civil Rights and the Law, The Thirteenth Amendment and American Freedom: A Legal History, Destructive Messages: How Hate Speech Paves the Way for Harmful Social Movements. He is also the editor of The Promises of Liberty: The History and Contemporary Relevance of the Thirteenth Amendment.
[Washington] believes that if the Army is forced to disperse in order to feed itself, he will lose this part of the war. The harsh winter of 1777-1778 saw the American Revolution at a crossroads. Despite growing popular support among colonists for independence, the Continental Army was in a difficult state. Battle weary and low on money and supplies, the Army was neither in a position to mount a winter campaign nor defend Philadelphia and instead chose to encamp at Valley Forge. General George Washington's leadership would be tested as the Army suffered from starvation and disease due to continued supply problems, yet still managed to re-organize and re-train for renewed fighting that summer. The lessons of this experience are discussed between Professor Rick Herrera of the School of Advanced Military Studies in Fort Leavenworth and U.S. Army War College Professor of Strategy Jacqueline E. Whitt. Rick Herrera is Professor of Military History in the School of Advanced Military Studies, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas and author of For Liberty and the Republic: The American Citizen as Soldier, 1775-1861. Jacqueline E. Whitt is Professor of Strategy at the U.S. Army War College and the WAR ROOM podcast editor. The views expressed in this presentation are those of the speakers and do not necessarily reflect those of the U.S. Army War College, U.S. Army, or Department of Defense. Konami released the first Metal Gear game on July 13, 1987. Created by Hideo Kojima, the stealth game came out on the MSX2 computer and went on to spawn a successful and beloved franchise. Main Scripture passage: Acts 15:32-16:10 Christ gave his apostles the vision for the church two thousand years ago: to make disciples and build them up in the faith. This is the same vision the church has today. And while each local church holds this same vision, not each church has the same means of accomplishing it. The means of accomplishing this goal are different for each church. So the question, "What is the vision for Liberty," really boils down to "What are the means of better accomplishing this vision?" To answer that question, we must examine the ministries we do, and we must realize that there will be certain aspects of accomplishing the vision that will change: certain ministries will need to be changed; others removed; others added. Getting started, the first thing we need is a plan--a long term plan. And we must ensure that this plan is God's plan, not simply ours, and we must be willing to adjust it according to God's sovereign plan. As we plan long term there are a few key areas we must look at with the vision of advancing the kingdom. These areas are foundational as we ensure that Liberty is doing the work the Lord has called us to do. First and foremost, we need to meet the needs of the people--the people inside the body and the people outside the body. There are two ways of doing this: (1), you see a need and then you meet it, and (2) you plan to meet a need you soon anticipate. But to meet these needs, we must have workers! For Liberty, this means more elders, more deacons, and just more workers in general for the various ministries we have. To meet these needs we have various ministries at Liberty--inward ministries and outward ministries. In the context of meeting the needs of the people, we must ask ourselves a few questions. The first is, "How can we make our current ministries even better?" The second is, "Are there other ministries we aren't currently doing that we should be doing?" To conclude, the keys to 2011 are: meeting the needs of the people, making a continued effort on preaching the gospel, a re-examination of our ministries to ensure they are meeting the needs of this church and meeting the needs of the community, and finally, a continued focus on training the people that are already here so they can start serving or better serve.
