We waren even bang dat Steef het de hele uitzending alleen nog maar zijn coole spulletjes in Diablo 3 zou gaan hebben maar gelukkig bleek hij ook nog StreetPass Battle (34:15) in de tussentijd uitgespeeld te hebben. 00:38:47 - Het wauw-gevoel Het hoofdonderwerp van deze week is games, of momenten in games, waarbij je een sterk wauw-gevoel ervaarde. Wat zo'n wauw-gevoel onder andere in kan houden en welke spellen dit oproepten voor het vaste Button Bashers panel hoor je in deze rubriek, maar daarnaast komen natuurlijk ook de wauw-momenten van alle andere Button Bashers in de Benelux aan bod (1:37:07). Dat er genoeg van dit soort momenten zijn blijkt wel uit het feit dat we moeilijk konden stoppen met praten. 01:52:59 - Koningsdag 2014 Heel wat Button Bashers zijn er met Koningsdag opuit gegaan om de vrijmarkten af te struinen, getuige alle foto's met spulletjes op het forum. Duidelijk was dat er nog steeds veel gave dingen gevonden kunnen worden op de vrijmarkten, consoles, spelletjes, bordspellen, action-figures en noem maar op. Maar wie is nu de Button Bashers Koningsdag-koning van 2014? Je hoort het in deze rubriek! 02:14:18 - Afsluiting Het is een lange aflevering geworden, maar het wauw-effect en wat er allemaal met Koningsdag gevonden wordt zijn dan ook onderwerpen waar lang over te praten valt. De volgende aflevering brengen we weer een populair onderwerp terug dat we al eerder gedaan hebben, welk onderwerp dat is hoor je in de afsluiting.

Episode #161 - Giana Sisters Tribute Even little girls are getting old one day. Once upon a time, in 1987 to be precise, we played around with two cute girls on C64 and Amiga: The Great Giana Sisters. A great jump 'n run game in the style of Mario, featuring fantastic music by sound magician Chris Hülsbeck. Now, 25 years later, a new game with the twin girls has been released. After a successful Kickstarter campaign Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams was brought to life by Black Forest Games. With music by Chris Hülsbeck himself, Fabian del Priore and the metal guys from Machinae Supremacy plus awesome graphics where you can switch fluently between the beautiful landscapes and dark places this download title captured our hearts by storm. Now we want to celebrate the 25th birthday of the Giana Sisters together with the creators and you! The BitJam podcast episode #161 features not only the original Giana theme, but also music from the DS version of the game, which was released in 2009, the brand new Twisted Dreams game as well as some cool remixes.
