This week, we discuss the Cyberpunk 2077 game play demo that was released to the public - what are we most excited for in the game and does the demo live up to the hype around it coming out of E3? Battlefield V got delayed this week until November 20, and EA says it's so the game can be polished. We discuss whether the real reason is to get away from Call of Duty and Red Dead Redemption in the fall release schedule, especially since Battlefield V has had low pre-order numbers. Xbox has new white versions of the Xbox One X and Elite Controller, and we're really hoping that that isn't what Project Washburn is. Lundt, MD Chronic viral infections can manifest in two different ways: one group, such as Epstein-Barr virus, are immunologically contained after the acute infection. The other group, including HIV, lead to persistent viremia and progressive clinical disease. Are there patients who are able to escape the latter without antiviral medications? The director of the Center for AIDS Research at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Bruce Walker, joins host Dr. Leslie Lundt to discuss these so-called "elite controllers."

Imagine living with HIV for 15 years and maintaining an undetectable viral load and a CD4 count around 2,000 -- without ever taking a single HIV med. Few people are part of this very small (and very fortunate) group of HIVers -- but Loreen Willenberg is one of them. What makes her so special? Doctors aren't quite sure, but if they can figure it out, it could forever change the way we fight HIV. Loreen participates in several studies in which researchers are trying to understand what makes these so-called "elite controllers" tick. "I don't have to participate, but you know what? It's necessary," she says. "It's a personal purpose. If there's any way I can help, I'm all about that."
