(Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark UK Supreme Court: Religious education in Ireland unlawful The U.K. Supreme Court ruled last month that religious education in Northern Ireland is unlawful. State-funded primary schools in Northern Ireland currently include religious education in the curriculum. Schools also have a time of daily worship. However, the U.K. Supreme Court ruled the curriculum was not “objective, critical and pluralistic.” In response, Christian Concern is defending Christian education in schools. Listen to comments from Steve Beegoo, Head of Education at Christian Concern. BEEGOO: “Parents, don't retreat. There is an authority that is truly higher than even our courts that we must appeal to and that we must obey. We must stand for truth and to obey Jesus Christ.” In Matthew 19:14, Jesus said, “Let the children come to Me, and do not hinder them.” Fewer British Christians, more pagans The Institute for the Impact of Faith in Life released a new survey on adults in Britain who changed religion. Christianity experienced the most losses with people usually becoming atheist. Islam saw a modest net gain, mostly from Christianity. Also, movements like Paganism, Wicca, and broad spiritualism saw noticeable growth. The study said, “Media reports over the past decade document a visible revival of Pagan and Wiccan practices in Britain, particularly among women over 30 and those disillusioned with organized religion but seeking ethical and emotional coherence.” Isaiah 8:19-20 says, “And when they say to you, ‘Seek those who are mediums and wizards, who whisper and mutter,' should not a people seek their God? Should they seek the dead on behalf of the living? To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.” Spanish court acquits 21 pro-lifers A court in Spain acquitted 21 pro-life activists on Tuesday. Authorities had arrested the pro-lifers back in 2022 for praying outside an abortion mill. They were participating in a 40 Days for Life prayer chain in the city of Vitoria-Gasteiz. The ruling stated, “There is no doubt that the defendants did nothing more than exercise their right to free assembly. … The defendants conducted themselves at all times in an exemplary, peaceful manner.” 71 U.S. abortion mills closed this year In the United States, 23 independent abortion mills closed this year as of October. That's up from 12 closures last year. Since Roe v. Wade was overturned in 2022, 100 locations closed. Independent abortion mills are not affiliated with Planned Parenthood and account for 58% of abortions in the U.S. Life News reports that Planned Parenthood has closed 48 locations so far this year. Dept. of Justice supports Christian students who spoke truth The U.S. Department of Justice supported two Christian students on Monday in a court case involving transgenderism. Virginia's Loudoun County School Board previously suspended the two male students. They had simply objected to a girl, pretending to be a boy, in their locker room. Harmeet Dhillon is Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights at the Justice Department. She said, “Loudoun County's decision to advance and promote gender ideology tramples on the rights of religious students who cannot embrace ideas that deny biological reality.” Frustrated homesellers pulling homes off market Realtor.com released their November 2025 Monthly Housing Market Trends Report. The report found that home prices are rising in traditionally affordable metros. Meanwhile, expensive metros are seeing price drops. The market has also seen record de-listings as frustrated sellers pull their homes off the market without a sale. Realtor.com noted, “One home was de-listed for about every 3 to 4 new listings nationally.” Fellowship of Christian Athletes distributed 244,000 Bibles this year And finally, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes distributed over 244,000 Bibles this year across the U.S. and 68 other countries. That's up from 219,000 last year. The achievement is due to 900 FCA camps worldwide, 23,000 huddle groups, and about 400 FCA sports club teams. A Fellowship of Christian Athletes spokesman told The Christian Post, “FCA's overarching aim is to reach coaches and athletes with the Gospel, help them grow spiritually and then enable them to help others do the same. Training for the Cross, LLC, is a family owned and operated business focused on producing well rounded bridle horses that have been ridden on the ranch, shown in the arena and ridden by everyone in the family. Wade and his family live in Homedale, Idaho with his wife Amaia, and children, Teo, Josie, Cy and Sam. TFTC LLC horses are used through the TQA Non-Profit program which is focused on instilling correct muscle memory in youth ranging from K-College. Wade and Amaia try to keep a solid string of horses that the family can use to do ranch work and compete on in rodeo. This same string of horses is used to help educate students through TVCC's performance horse series and shown by the TVCC Stock Horse Team. Be intentional and look at the influence he has given you and how he wants to use you right there for his kingdom. One thing everybody has in common is we all want to be seen. Jesus was so good at sitting one on one and asking the right questions to make people feel seen and heard and valued. We can't lead others until we learn how to follow. The Multi-Area Director of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes for Alachua, Bradford, Gilchrist, Dixie, and Levy counties, Noah Wilbanks, joins the show to discuss the upcoming Fall Kickoff Classic. The event, which is on August 3rd, brings together teams and coaches for a night full of God-filled fun and fellowship. The keynote speaker for this event is RV Brown, and former Gator coach, Steve Spurrier, will also be in attendance. What does CARE look like in leadership? This week you'll get a sense of a leader with CARE as we chat with Dan Britton, the Chief Field Officer for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Britton has been on staff since 1990, serving first as field staff in Northern Virginia for 13 years before moving to Kansas City to join the executive leadership team. As Chief Field Officer, Britton travels extensively around the world to work with thousands of leaders in more than 100 countries who are passionate about and called to sports ministry. Britton played professional lacrosse with the Baltimore Thunder, earning a spot on the All-Star team, and he was nominated by his teammates for both the Service and Unsung Hero awards. He has co-authored seven books, including: "One Word," and the "One Word Journal," which came out the day we recorded this interview. (In fact, we've twisted Dan's arm to join us again in December to talk about "One Word" as we head into 2023.) Britton is a frequent speaker for companies, nonprofits, sports teams, schools and churches. He has appeared on national outlets like CBS News and FOX News. He still plays and coaches lacrosse, and he enjoys running marathons—he's finished the Boston Marathon twice. Imagine not only going out of town, but going out of the country. And after just a day or two of being in this foreign country, war breaks out in your hometown. And it's not safe for you to go back. Suddenly, you're in a foreign country, all of your friends are halfway around the world, much of your family is halfway around the world, and all you have possessions-wise are the clothes and whatever that you packed in your suitcase. This week we're chatting with a husband and wife who have faced -- and continue to face -- just that. See, in February, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, which is a worldwide organization based here in Kansas City, was holding a conference in Texas for their ministry leaders from around the world. Some of those ministry leaders were from Ukraine.As you'll hear in this conversation, it became more than just the ministry leaders from Ukraine. In fact, 29 people — men, women and children — came to the U.S. for this conference, realizing that Russia could invade their home country.Of course, that's what happened.In this episode you're going to hear from the main ministry leader, Andriy Kravtsov and his wife Lindsay. Andriy is FCA's Divisional VP, North Global. One goal with the C-10 program is to expose our students to various leaders and people overcoming adversity. Knowing Andriy and Lindsay fit both of those descriptions, in early October, they came to a C-10 session to speak to our students and mentors. Recently I had the opportunity to go to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Camp in Pella, Iowa. This week was a week of God moving and restoring. From what I saw God do, there is no way that you can tell me that God either is not real or does not move any longer. He IS real and He DOES move! As you've seen, Season 3 is dedicated to my father, Mike Jacox, who passed away late in 2021. I Love and miss you, Dad.Today, we sit down with Ryan Johnston, who works for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes as their Vice President of the Pacific Northwest. For nearly the last 11 years, Ryan has seen his career grow as he connects and serves more athletes from a servant's mindset. Today, we talked to Ryan, the dad. We learn how he has evolved and grown as a father and how he is striving to be the ultimate Quarterback of his household. Growing up in Oregon, Ryan was always playing sports and competing. He shares the challenges he faced growing up during his "identity" years and the impact that playing sports had on his life. Ryan also shares a story of adversity as his family recently had to deal with a fire in their house; what a scare! Ryan and his wife, Molly, have three children that keep them very busy in all of the activities they are involved with. Be present! So much wisdom was shared in this episode as Ryan talks about the power of leadership and relationships. He shares that focused attention = love, as well, as we as dads must be intentional with our presence and don't just show up. We talked about the power of BELIEF, and also the power of MENTORSHIP!
