The Agents of Change: SEO, Social Media, and Mobile Marketing for Small Business
If you've ever typed a prompt into an AI image tool and ended up with something that looks like a corporate stock photo had a fever dream, you're not alone. Getting genuinely good output from these tools takes more than a two-word description. Ross Symons, co-founder of Zen Robot and a guy who spent a decade making origami stop-motion content before the influencer wave even had a name, breaks down what most people are doing wrong, and more importantly, what the people doing it right understand about these tools. https://www.theagentsofchange.com/621 Need help with your branding, website, or digital marketing? Every day, generative AI is pumping millions of new pictures into existence. Researcher and UNSW lecturer Dr Charu Maithani is redefining how we think about the images flooding our world, exposing how they capture only the narrowest sliver of human experience. Her work reveals how reimagining the way AI is trained – what it sees, learns, and absorbs from culture – defines our visual vocabulary and reshapes our collective imagination. Sometimes, what we don’t see is just as important as what we do. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
In this episode, Jason shares an exciting breakthrough in how construction concepts can be taught and understood: using AI-generated images to communicate complex ideas visually. Many lean and construction principles like advanced queuing areas, kitting zones, 5S truck organization, or jobsite logistics are difficult to explain with words alone. But when people see them visually, everything clicks. Jason explains how combining AI image tools with platforms like Canva is helping him create clear visual representations of jobsite systems that once took pages of explanation. What you'll learn in this episode: Why visual learning dramatically improves understanding on construction projects. How AI-generated images can simplify complex lean concepts. Examples like advanced queuing areas, water spider systems, and jobsite logistics layouts. How combining AI tools with design platforms creates powerful teaching visuals. Why clearer visuals can transform construction training and field communication. How this approach could reshape how future builders learn the craft. If a single image can help a team instantly understand a concept that once took hours to explain… how much faster could our industry learn? There's a lot of communication flying out of dealerships every single day and text messaging is often the fastest way to reach a customer. But if your messages look like everyone else's, they're going to be treated like everyone else's. "Just checking in" and "any questions?" isn't follow-up… it's noise. In this episode, Jen shares a creative tactic she's been using in her own follow-ups that's getting responses and turning heads! AI-generated images built directly from CRM notes and customer conversations. Instead of sending another plain text, Jen shows how you can create a visual message that proves you were paying attention. The customer's name, the vehicle they liked, details about their family, their interests, even a little humor, all layered into a custom image that feels personal and memorable. It's not about fancy graphics. It's about showing customers that you remember them and care about their situation. Jen explains how she started using these AI images in her own outreach, how the responses led her to start teaching the technique in her sales classes, and how teams are now using it as a fun internal contest to drive replies from customers. If your follow-up messages are getting ignored, the problem might not be the message, it might be the format. This episode will show you how to change that! Dealer Talk with Jen Suzuki Podcast |

Are AI images fooling you? They're everywhere. Perhaps you saw all those cute "candy cane" body suit photos and thought, "That looks fun." Or, maybe you posted one yourself! In this thought-provoking episode, Heather Creekmore unpacks the rise of AI-generated photos and their profound impact on how we see ourselves—and each other. What started years ago as a debate over Photoshop has now exploded into a world where anyone can create altered, “flawless” images of themselves in a matter of seconds. But the effects go far beyond just looking different in pictures. These doctored images are changing our brains, our body image, and even our spiritual health. Heather shares what happened when she created a bunch of AI photos of herself, including her hilarious results. What You’ll Hear The Evolution from Photoshop to AI:Heather Creekmore reminisces about early discussions on Photoshop and magazine covers—and how AI has made “perfect” images accessible to everyone, not just celebrities and models. Personal Experiment with AI Headshots:Hear about Heather’s own journey using an AI headshot generator, the surprising (and sometimes hilarious) results, and the unsettling emotional triggers that come with seeing an altered version of yourself. The Science Behind How Images Affect Us:Learn how the brain processes images, why filtered photos are so convincing (even when we know they're fake), and how repeated exposure to “perfect” bodies rewires our brains to set unrealistic standards. Real Dangers: Snapchat Dysmorphia and Beyond:Explore the rise in people seeking cosmetic procedures to look like their filtered selfies, and understand why AI-generated “ideal images” up the stakes for comparison, perfectionism, and dissatisfaction. Spiritual Implications:Heather dives deep into the spiritual cost of chasing AI perfection, discussing body image idolatry, why you were purposefully designed by a loving Creator, and the difference between being designed vs. manufactured. Practical Tips to Beat Comparison:Walk away with actionable advice, from mindful scrolling to curating your social media feed, setting screen time limits, and turning to prayer when you're tempted by those idealized images. Memorable Quotes “Now you can actually have an image of yourself to worship.” “Our brains know these images are fake, but our hearts still hurt as if they’re real.” “You’re not a red Solo cup. You’re not manufactured. You’re uniquely designed.” "Are you worshipping a perfect image, or are you worshipping a perfect God?" Ben Smith welcomed Angie Moxham and Mark Borkowski to the weekly PR news review on the PRmoment Podcast. On this week's show our panel discuss Farage and Jenrick, Grok's explicit AI images and alleged Wikipedia edits by Portland.Mark Borkowski criticised the Reform party's recruitment of Robert Jenrick as a "massive PR own goal," which Angie Moxham agreed was simply to get headlines."Why oh why are they (Reform) taking on these lame ducks, these Tory party failures that were kicked out by the electorate.""The public will remember Robert Jenrick dissing every aspect of Reform, and particularly Nigel Farage. Now they are buddies. They are in the same swill pit"Regarding X's delayed restriction on explicit AI images, Mark Borkowski suggested the initial delay was due to arrogance that generated bad PR, while Angie Moxham notes the controversy secured more headlines for Grok and its image tool. What does this story say about the society we now live in: where criticism of an AI tool generating explicit images of women, got derailed to become a (false) debate about free speech? Finally, Mark and Angie discuss Portland's alleged "black hat" Wikipedia editing in an investigation by the Bureau of Investigative Journalism.
Nick Dagan Best joins me to discuss the rare triple conjunction of Venus, Mars, and the Sun that took place in early January 2026. We review the major news stories that coincided with this alignment, with a primary focus on tracing historical recurrences to show how each event is tied to specific precursors that occurred under similar triple conjunctions over the past century. We spent the first week of the year witnessing a decade's worth of history unfold in just ten days. In this episode, we analyze how the precise alignment of these three planetary bodies in Capricorn correlates with the dramatic geopolitical events we are seeing now, including the US military strike on Venezuela, the escalating tensions regarding Greenland, and the widespread protests in Iran. Our discussion builds on our previous episodes on recurrence transits, by showing how they work when more than one planet is involved in a recurrence, creating a more specific repetition of events. This is a deep dive into mundane astrology, looking at how the past informs the present through the repetition of planetary cycles. This is episode 518 of The Astrology Podcast. References to sexual assault, abuse, and potential trauma INCLUDING DISCUSSION OF SEXUAL VIOLENCE.VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED.The story starts with chaos—kids in the doorway, a violent assault, sirens in the street—and becomes a masterclass in survival, strategy, and justice. We sit with Lindsay Hendricks as she walks us through the realities most people never see: the cycle of abuse, the excuses that keep you trapped, the way gaslighting isolates you from family, and the hard choices you make when children are watching everything. We get candid about the legal fork in the road: take it to trial and risk retraumatizing testimony, or accept a plea that guarantees decades behind bars. The team chooses to protect the children—and two judges go further. Ada County hands down 65 years fixed. Canyon County follows with life without parole, after playing a recorded jail call where the abuser and his mother mock the victims' pain. It's the rare moment when the system does what it should. This conversation is raw and emotional. We outline red flags worth memorizing, how to build a quiet exit plan, why hidden savings matter, and how to document everything without jeopardizing an investigation. We talk therapy, survivor mindset, and the guilt that can swallow a parent whole—and how to keep it from consuming your life. We also push for change: clearer minimums for child sexual abuse, tech-savvy investigations, and judges who match sentences to the harm done.If you've ever wondered what it takes to get from sirens to sentencing—and how to support someone living in fear—this is your blueprint. Recently, I had one of those gut-punch moments every creator dreads: a dream interview, a perfect conversation… and I realized afterward that I never hit record. Disney and Universal are suing AI image and video generator Midjourney With just a couple of sentences you can create your own scene starring Homer Simpson, a Minion, or a Star Wars character. That's cool, but a problem for the studios who own the IP for that content. The studios call Midjourney a “virtual vending machine” and “bottomless pit of plagiarism” in their suit. Many of these AI companies have been using copyrighted material under "fair use" provisions to train their models, but this lawsuit directly challenges that. The lawsuit seeks damages ($150,000 per infringement) and an injunction that would immediately stop Midjourney's operations. Apple is bringing Call Screening to iOS26 Why are you calling me? That's the question the caller will now need to answer before you decide to pick up. Not interested, ignore them! This builds on the "live voicemail" feature they already rolled out. With this update, telemarketers will need to explain themselves before you answer! Spam calls are a real problem in the USA, so this will come as a welcome relief for many. CarPlay can now be customized for car makers Aston Martin is Apple's first CarPlay Ultra customer. The two collaborated to bring Apple Car Play to the driver's dashboard. So now your maps, music controls and more will be right there, not off to the side screen. What's coming with Expo SDK 53? Here we are at the end of another wild week, and I'm back with four topics I believe matter most. From AI's growing realism to Gen Z's cry for help, this week's update isn't just about what's happening but what it all means. With that, let's get into it.AI Images Are Getting Too Real - Anyone else culture changed overnight? That's because AI image-gen got a massive update. Granted, this is about more than cool tools or creative fun. The latest AI image models are producing visuals so realistic they're indistinguishable from real life. That's not just impressive; it's dangerous. However, there's more to it than that. Text got an upgrade as did the visual style for animation.Gates Says AI Will Replace You - Bill Gates is back with another bold prediction: AI will replace doctors, teachers, and entire professions in the next 5–10 years. I don't think he's wrong about the capability. However, I do think he's wrong about what people actually want. Just because AI can do something doesn't mean we'll accept it. I break down why fully automated futures might work on paper but fail in practice.Gen Z Is Crying Out - This one hit me hard. A raw, emotional message from a Gen Z listener stopped me in my tracks. It wasn't just a DM; it was a warning and cry for help. Fear, disillusionment, lack of trust in institutions, and a desperate search for meaning. Now, I don't read it as weakness by any means. I saw it as strength and a wake-up call. If you're a leader, parent, or educator, you need to hear this. How AI Helped Me Be More Human- In a bit of a twist, I share how AI actually helped me slow down, process emotion, and show up more grounded when I received the previously-mentioned message. Granted, it wasn't about productivity. It was about empathy, which is why I wanted to share.
