We started the hour talking about the Giants as they head to Dallas this week. We wondered when we might see Jaxson Dart. If they have another bad half, they might throw him out there in the second half. Both Aaron Rodgers and Daniel Jones played great in week 1, which was just awesome for Jets and Giants fans. As much as we were impressed with the Jets, they did blow the game and let Rodgers stand up there as the victor at the podium. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the sounds of the Mets losing to the Phillies for their fifth straight loss. The Mets are not looking like a playoff team. Boomer said the Giants must get the ball in the hands of Malik Nabers at least 10 times this week. Richie Incognito said of Tua's performance: ‘Tua is ass. He looks bad'. In the final segment of the hour, we took a look at week 2 in the NFL and looked at some good teams that could start out 0-2 and whether those teams would go into panic mode.

Kyle Schwarber hit his 50th HR of the season as the Phillies beat the Mets again. The Yankees had a terrible 7th inning and lost to the Tigers. Daniel Jones was on with Pat McAfee and asked him what he learned in his short time with the Vikings. The Moment of The Day: Jerry talking like a space alien. In the final segment of the show, yesterday was 20 years ago that Gio walked in to WFAN to start the first day of his internship.
Who is more likely to win this week, the Giants over the Cowboys or the Jets over the Bills? Will the Jets offense look anything like week 1 or was that an anomaly? If the Jets can run the ball like week 1, they will be in every game this year. Gio wonders if Boomer was into the UAP video of a missile being shot at an orb and it bouncing off. Hour 1 It feels like we are in the middle of a complete collapse by the Mets. The Mets are on the verge of not making the playoffs, and if they do make it, it will be short lived. To not get as far as last year after adding Juan Soto would be insane. They cannot let Sean Manaea pitch another game this season. Gio said they stink and have stunk for months. Jerry is here for his first update of the day and starts with Kyle Schwarber hitting his 50th HR last night as the Phillies beat the Mets. The SF Giants won, also not good for the Mets. Buck Martinez had quite the critique of the Yankees during the Blue Jays broadcast. Chris Long talked about feeling old while watching the YouTube NFL broadcast. In the final segment of the hour, we took calls from Mets fans who have come to expect this type of season. Hour 2 Caleb Williams is using the same nail technician as Angel Reese. Gio's not sure if Chicago Bears fans want to read something like that. Boomer said he needs to get his head out of his ass and start listening to his coaches. A caller said this Mets season is karma for all the trash talking the fans did after they got Juan Soto from the Yankees. Jerry returns for an update, but first Boomer shows a picture from a Ryder Cup event he played in 20 years ago with a bunch of celebrities. Jerry starts with the sounds of the Yankees loss to the Tigers as they gave up 9 runs in the 7th. Sean Manaea had a rough outing in Philadelphia where the Mets lost again. Carlos Mendoza was asked after the game about the possibility of them not making the playoffs. The critics are out in Chicago as JJ McCarthy looked better in game 1 of his career than Caleb Williams did in start number eighteen. Ben Johnson talked about his struggles. Deion Sanders was asked about his starting quarterback for this weekend. In the final segment of the hour, C-Mac, who loves the Yankees, has officially given up on Anthony Volpe. A caller has a wager for Gio for this weekend's boxing match on Netflix. Hour 3 Who is more likely to win this week, the Giants over the Cowboys or the Jets over the Bills? (00:00-28:05) – Query & Company opens on a Wednesday with Jake once again stressing the importance of having deep cornerback room after Indianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steichen announced Jaylon Jones will be “out for a while” and Charvarius Ward is in the concussion protocol. Then, IndyStar Colts beat reporter Joel Erickson joins the show to discuss the health of the cornerback room and questions surrounding Johnathan Taylor’s rest he received last week. Also, what were the biggest differences between a Daniel Jones offense and an Anthony Richardson offense? (28:06:38:33) – Jake explains why Bill Belichick and the story on him banning NFL scouts from the North Carolina program will affect their ability to get recruits. It reminds him of another collegiate program in Indiana that had the same issue. (38:34-45:44) – The first hour of the show concludes with Jake explaining some unwritten rules to live by and if parents should let kids get foul balls. (45:45-1:08:52) – The second hour of the show opens with Jake relating fantasy football teams to how the Colts are having to operate in their cornerback room. Shane Steichen gave voice to the questions surrounding the position group today and Jake reacts to his comments. Jake also combs through Steichen’s “coach speak” and how reading between the lines of his quotes is important. (1:08:53-1:16:05) – We’re month out from Pacers basketball, and the expectations have changed dramatically since this time last year. Jake shows the similarities between the Fever and the Pacers due to the personnel changes and flow of their respective seasons. (1:16:06-1:26:25) – The second hour of the show concludes with Jake readings texts from the listeners and explaining why the Fever deserve to be commended for the way they’ve overcome obstacles this season. In what ways can the Pacers do the same thing this year? (1:26:26-1:49:26) – To open the final hour, Jake answers what the burning question is for the Pacers this year. Is Benedict Mathurin going to take a leap this year? What will that mean for his future for the Pacers? The Colts also have a burning question that still needs answered at the quarterback position. Shane Steichen had the answer to it all along. That same answer is also the solution to the injury problem in the Colts cornerback room. (1:49:27-2:04:49) – Indiana Fever TV analyst Debbie Antonelli joins the show to give an update on how the team is examining their regular season before they head into the postseason. Jake also presses on the challenges of coaching in the professional ranks in today’s game and how down to the detail head coach Stephanie White needs to be for the Fever to be successful. Kelsey Mitchell wrapped up an incredible regular season last night and Debbie examines why she deserves more praise for it. Lastly, Debbie explains what she expects the Fever to adjust heading into the playoffs and explain Unified Sports and how it brings special needs students with other students. (2:05:50-2:07:20) – Today’s show closes out with Jake handing it off to JMV and previewing what’s on his show! Walking by Faith, Training With PurposeFrom Cedarville to the Indianapolis Colts and now the University of Kansas Jayhawks, Kyler Conn's journey is one stitched together by purpose, perseverance, and a deep-rooted faith.A recent graduate of Cedarville University's rigorous BA in sports medicine and Master of Athletic Training five-year program, Kyler's path has never been just about tape and treatment tables. It's been about serving others through athletic training while staying grounded in his walk with Christ. He recently shared his story on the Cedarville Stories podcast, reflecting on the power of mentorship, faith, and family in his life.Kyler's hands-on experience began with high-level internships at Baylor University, where he worked with both the football and men's basketball programs. From assisting in sideline emergencies to supporting long-term rehab for elite athletes, Kyler's experiences gave him a close-up view of what it takes to perform under pressure at the highest level. Then came the NFL — an internship with the Indianapolis Colts where Kyler worked alongside seasoned professionals in one of the most competitive sports environments. It was during his time in Indy that he connected with a strength coach who recognized Cedarville's name and faith foundation. He eventually invited Kyler to College Park Church, which became a spiritual home during that season. While sharpening his skills on the field, Kyler also invested in the classroom. His academic research centered on Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) — the critical blueprints sports medicine teams follow during catastrophic injuries or athlete collapse. He examined how preparedness, communication, and clearly defined roles can save lives in high-pressure moments. For Kyler, EAPs aren't just paperwork — they're lifelines, and he's passionate about equipping teams to respond with precision when seconds matter most. He's also a strong advocate for mentorship, crediting much of his development to those who invested in him. “I wouldn't be where I am without the guidance of those ahead of me,” he shared. Now, Kyler is preparing to join the University of Kansas as the athletic trainer for men's basketball and baseball. With his faith as his compass and a heart for service, he's ready to make an impact in Lawrence — one athlete, one rep, one moment at a time.https://share.transistor.fm/s/77a3fc4ehttps://youtu.be/WLku-bt4iSA
