Hostem podcastu Men's Factor byl chirurg a účastník několika misí s Lékaři bez hranic Tomáš Šebek. Operoval ve válečných konfliktech i v oblastech zasažených přírodními katastrofami, například po ničivém zemětřesení na Haiti.„Společným jmenovatelem většiny misí byla válka, lidé v krizových situacích si dokážou neuvěřitelně pomáhat, ale zároveň se v nich rychle stupňuje frustrace, která vede k agresivitě. To se děje všude a velmi rychle.“Na otázku, co považuje za prevenci válek, odpovídá překvapivě: „Energetická soběstačnost. Lidé a státy neustále hledají, kde získat zdroje, a to vede ke konfliktům. Kdybychom dokázali využít termonukleární fúzi, možná bychom tím některé problémy vyřešili.“ Jedním z nejtěžších momentů, které lékaři v krizových oblastech zažívají, je rozhodování o tom, kdo dostane péči a kdo ne. „Dostat 50 zraněných najednou a vědět, že můžeme zachránit jen 35, to je situace, kdy se Bůh stává lékařem na zemi. Musíte říct pacientovi, který dýchá, který vám rozumí, že mu nemůžete pomoci. To jsou chvíle, které člověk nezapomene.“ Šebek přiznává, že i po návratu domů je potřeba zpracovat psychické dopady těchto rozhodnutí. „Chodím k psychologovi. Je to naprosto normální. Zvlášť mezi muži by se o tom mělo mluvit víc,“ dodává.V rozhovoru s Hynkem Čermákem a Josefem Tomanem mluví i o prevenci ve zdravotnictví. Lidé si prý musí uvědomit, že zdraví je hlavně jejich zodpovědnost. Jednou z důležitých oblastí prevence je podle něj svalová hmota: „Kolik svalů naberete v produktivním věku, tolik budete na stará kolena pohledávat. A mimochodem, když v paneláku postavili výtah, lidé tam začali rychleji umírat. Schody jsou prevencí.“

Náklady na personál tvoří v hotelech až 40 procent celkových výdajů. Lidí, kteří by v hotelech chtěli pracovat, současně ubývá. Nezbývá nic jiného než inovovat. Filip Linek, zakladatel Flae Robotics a majitel hotelového komplexu Pecr Pec pod Sněžkou, se proto pustil do vývoje humanoidní recepční. „Hotely fungují jako laboratoř pro vývoj produktu BE-A, humanoidní recepční,“ říká Linek. Bude to taková dokonalá recepční, která mluví všemi jazyky, zařizuje a ruší rezervace, ví všechno o okolí, nabídne vám výlet. Podle Linka by měla zvládnout až 95 procent práce běžné recepční. Jde mu o zachování hospitality, pohostinnosti. Na jednu stranu totiž vznikají hotely bez personálu, jde o plnou automatizaci. Host naskenuje pas a jde se vyspat do pokoje, který si otevře QR kódem. Druhou cestou je zachování hospitality, lidí, kteří se starají o své hosty. Ale těch se podle Linka nedostává.České hotely potřebují 100 tisíc lidí a ty evropské potřebují pět milionů lidí. A ti nejsou. Nebo jak se nominoval na pozici DJe na otvíračce Salted HOME v srpnu. ALE! Je neskutečné vedro a podcast studio se pomalu mění ve finskou saunu. Naše mozky přestávají fungovat. Věty se rozpadají.
