As You Wish Talk Radio with James Gilliland Freedom, Health, Universal Law, Whales UFOs and Challenges In this broadcast, James Gilliland explores the shifting global paradigm, ranging from imminent UFO disclosure to the hidden dangers of AI and mass surveillance. He contrasts a world of "tyranny and division" with a spiritual evolution based on universal law, while addressing personal challenges and "character assassinations" facing the ECETI community. UFO Disclosure and the Political Landscape The discussion begins with the potential for full UFO disclosure under the Trump administration. Gilliland expresses hope for a genuine revelation regarding Earth's history and the presence of technologically and spiritually advanced off-worlders, rather than a "limited hangout" or controlled narrative. He suggests that true disclosure would fundamentally disrupt the current "controlled narrative" and the livelihoods of those maintaining it. The Technological Control Matrix A significant portion of the dialogue focuses on the perceived dangers of modern technology, including 5G, smart devices, and Artificial Intelligence. Gilliland argues that these technologies are currently being weaponized to erode privacy and cause physical ailments like dementia and immune disorders, though they could easily be reconfigured for healing. He highlights a specific interaction with ChatGPT, suggesting the AI's responses reveal a "darker plan" for control and a connection to "ancient" forces. Geopolitical Conflicts and Bioweapons The narrative shifts to Palantir's alleged role in global surveillance and its involvement in targeting AI used in Middle Eastern conflicts. Gilliland discusses claims from hackers regarding the creation of bioweapons in Ukraine intended for use against Russia, funded by billionaire eugenicists and the CIA. He links these activities to a broader "depopulation program," which he claims includes the COVID-19 vaccines, referring to them as "bioweapons" that have caused monumental adverse effects globally. Spiritual Warfare and the "Demiurge" Gilliland describes a "bifurcation of worlds" where humanity must choose between the path of Universal Law (peace, freedom, and prosperity) and the path of the "Demiurge" (war, disease, and tyranny). He identifies "Archons" and "Satanic Luciferians" as the forces behind social engineering, gender division, and the destruction of the family unit. He emphasizes that forgiveness and unity are the "kryptonite" to these dark influences, which feed on pain and suffering. ECETI Hawaii and Personal Integrity The latter half of the document addresses a personal dispute involving ECETI Hawaii. Gilliland claims that neighbors and former associates misappropriated over $1.5 million in funds intended for the sanctuary and have since engaged in "character assassination" to justify their actions. He defends his "enlightened masculinity" and authenticity, stating that ECETI will continue its mission on its own 7.5-acre property despite these setbacks. Gilliland maintains that despite the "chaos and anti-madness" of the current era, those who anchor themselves in higher consciousness and universal law will find protection and eventually achieve a "quantum leap in evolution".

Bertha and Mary discuss their new books and talk about their work and their lives in poetry over the last few decades. Mary Gilliland is the author of Ember Days, The Devil's Fools (winner of the Codhill Press Pauline Uchmanowicz Poetry Award and the CNY Book Award), and The Ruined Walled Castle Garden (winner of the Bright Hill Press Poetry Prize). Honors include the 2023 International Literary Seminars Kenya/Fence 1st Prize in Poetry and a Cornell University Council on the Arts Faculty Grant. Mary is a poet, ecologist, and occasional essayist in New York's Finger Lakes Region where she has transformed a rocky acre of Six Mile Creek into a fawn-filled woodland garden. https://marygilliland.com/ Bertha Rogers is a poet, translator, and visual artist who lives and writes and walks on a mountain in New York's Catskills. Her recent poetry collection (Salmon, Ireland), is What Want Brings: New & Selected Poems. Her translation of the Anglo-Saxon Riddle Poems from the Exeter Book was published in 2019; and her translation of Beowulf  in 2000 (Birch Brook, NY).  Bertha, named First Poet Laureate of Delaware County, New York, in March 2005, and was the founding director of Bright Hill Press and Word Thursdays, a nonprofit organization in New York's Catskill Mountain Region.  www.bertharogers.com. Praise for Bertha Rogers and Mary Gilliland "The richness of Bertha Rogers's poetry flows from each line, each word, not just on the page to be seen, but heard as we silently mouth the words. Oh, how perfectly musical hervoice is, sometimes celebratory, sometimes sad, but always in tune with the matter at hand, whether it be nature or love or loss. Now I trust/in poems, rustling red leaves/I lay carefully on white pages,' she tells us. Her trust is well placed. What Want Brings brings us a most welcome treasure of poems new and selected."  --Matthew J. Spireng - author of Good Work, winner of 2019 Sinclair Poetry Prize Mary Gilliland's In the Pool of the Sea's Shoulder is a modern classic; an elemental deep-dive into the life of her brother, as Freddy, whose life was tragically cut short. Here, time and memory are distilled by ‘listening into the dark' in a poetics so sensitively attuned to loss and written through a myriad of forms and voices. Within the elegiac energy, there are echoes of Muriel Rukeyser's activist commitment in the documentary approach here. Tender yet ludic, this is a work of searing intelligence. Gilliland is a visionary poet writing at her peak.—JAMES BYRNE

In the early hours of March 24, 1976, the streets of Buenos Aires rumble with tanks as soldiers seize the presidential palace and topple Argentina's leader. The country is now under the control of a military junta, with army chief Jorge Rafael Videla at the helm. With quiet support from the United States and tacit approval from much of Argentina's people, who are tired of constant bombings and gunfights, the junta swiftly launches the National Reorganization Process or El Proceso—a bland name masking their ruthless campaign to crush the political left and instill the country with “Western, Christian” values. The junta holds power until 1983 and decimates a generation. One of the military's most diabolical acts is kidnapping hundreds of pregnant women. After giving birth in captivity, the women are “disappeared,” and their babies secretly given to other families—many of them headed by police or military officers. For mothers of pregnant daughters and daughters-in-law, the source of their grief is twofold—the disappearances of their children, and the theft of their grandchildren. A group of fierce grandmothers forms the Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo, dedicated to finding the stolen infants and seeking justice from a nation that betrayed them. At a time when speaking out could mean death, the Abuelas confront military officers and launch protests to reach international diplomats and journalists. They become detectives, adopting disguises to observe suspected grandchildren, and even work alongside a renowned American scientist to pioneer groundbreaking genetic tests. A Flower Traveled in My Blood: The Incredible True Story of the Grandmothers Who Fought to Find a Stolen Generation of Children (Simon & Schuster, 2025) by Haley Cohen Gilliland is the rarest of nonfiction that reads like a novel and puts your heart in your throat. It is the product of years of extensive archival research and meticulous, original reporting. It marks the arrival of a blazing new talent in narrative journalism. In these pages, a regime tries to terrorize a country, but love prevails. The grandmothers' stunning stories reveal new truths about memory, identity, and family. In a world where senseless violence feels constant, politics are fiercely divisive, and nobody seems interested in having a debate or thinking they could be wrong — it can feel like rationality is becoming extinct. Add to that social media algorithms that tend to feed people content they want to see as opposed to a balanced stream of factual information, and the idea of objectivity can start to feel like a lost cause. So, how do people stay grounded amid all the noise? And is there any value in trying to understand people whose actions seem completely irrational? Author and clinical psychologist Dr. Kevin Gilliland unpacks these complex topics, sharing how to navigate a chaotic world by focusing on your “psychological dashboard” — a set of tools and indicators that help maintain psychological health when things get overwhelming. Plus, Dr. Gilliland and Trey take a walk down memory lane, sharing stories from their college days when their friendship first began.  Learn more about your ad choices. On October 6, 1978, Patricia Roisinblit — a young Jewish medical student and leftist activist — was abducted by Argentina's military junta while eight months pregnant. She was never seen again. But her mother, Rosa, refused to let her story end there. In this deeply moving episode, we speak with journalist and author Haley Cohen Gilliland about her extraordinary new book, A Flower Traveled in My Blood — a powerful narrative of dictatorship, resistance, and the decades-long search for justice led by the Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo, Argentina's Grandmothers of the Disappeared.Gilliland, a former Economist correspondent in Buenos Aires, chronicles the brutal history of Argentina's military regime and the courageous women who defied it. We follow the personal and political story of the Roisinblit family — from Patricia's disappearance, to the state-sanctioned abduction of her son Guillermo, to Rosa's decades-long fight to find the truth and reunite her family. We discuss the role of antisemitism in Argentina's Dirty War, the use of genetic testing to identify stolen children, and the uncomfortable legacy of silence, complicity, and denial in Argentine society. With chilling parallels to today's global political climate, this conversation is a haunting and hopeful reflection on what happens when ordinary people refuse to forget.Published by Simon & Schuster (July 15, 2025), A Flower Traveled in My Blood is already hailed as one of the most important nonfiction books of the year.*****STOP PRESS*****I only ever talk about history on this podcast but I also have another life, yes, that of aspirant fantasy author and if that's your thing you can get a copy of my debut novel The Blood of Tharta, right here:Help the podcast to continue bringing you history each weekIf you enjoy the Explaining History podcast and its many years of content and would like to help the show continue, please consider supporting it in the following ways:If you want to go ad-free, you can take out a membership hereOrYou can support the podcast via Patreon hereOr you can just say some nice things about it here Become a member at https://plus.acast.com/s/explaininghistory. Humanity is experiencing profound global changes due to incoming galactic frequencies and the arrival of our ancient extraterrestrial ancestors that are causing millennia-old control systems to crumble. Negative extraterrestrial overlords and their human minions (aka Deep State) are being exposed and will be made accountable for the heinous crimes they have committed, according to a veteran ET contactee and author, James Gilliland. He states that our extraterrestrial ancestors are highly evolved benevolent beings that are making contact with receptive humans all over our planet. The Deep State is making every effort to prevent such contacts to delay the monumental changes that are coming to our planet. It behooves those seeking to free our planet from negative control to make contact with the benevolent extraterrestrials who are helping clear the remaining bastions of negative ET/Deep State power. Gilliland has spent 40 years promoting Enlightened Contact with Extraterrestrial Intelligence (ECETI) protocols through his ranch at Mt Adams, Washington. He and many visitors to the ECETI Ranch have experienced direct contact with extraterrestrials, ascended masters, celestials, Inner Earth beings, and many other entities. In addition, he and visitors have taken thousands of pictures and videos of UFOs around Mt Adams, and also at his new ranch on the Big Island of Hawaii. James Gilliland recently released an Urgent Message to Humanity which is available here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zIP7iLouBIk His website is: https://www.eceti.org/ --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/exopoliticstoday/support
