Check out the new book here: https://www.itsonlytuesday.com.au/ The Backstory: 'Holy Sh!t, It's Only... Tuesday?' is a book by Paul Rowse and his eminence, the one and only Joe Wehbe. What started as a serious non-fiction book inspired by Paul's multi-decade business and life journey, turned into a fiction book! A satire on the workplace, a comedic story about two cleaning companies. Instead of insight and wisdom, the story is full of clueless characters who try (largely in vain) to improve their workplace culture... and their lives. It's available to purchase online via Amazon. Do they walk around like us, appear as ancient gods, and whisper into our dreams?Today, we speak with core shamanic practitioner and author, Dale Allen-Rowse, who has delved into the world beyond our world and shares how he did it, and it's all set to a disco beat. How do you find the soul of yourself? You let it find you, but that doesn't mean you just sit around waiting for it. Author, performer, and Shamanic practitioner, Dale Allen-Rowse takes us on his journey from working with one of the Divas of music to uncovering his passion during the pandemic so that he could dial into the soul of his truth. About Dale Dale Allen-Rowse always knew he was a creator and a storyteller. However, it wasn't until Celine Dion hired him as an original cast member for her show ‘A New Day' that he understood his calling. During the almost year-long creation of Celine's Las Vegas show, Dale's vision for storytelling, narrative, and fantasy emerged. He worked for three years under the direction of Dion's director, Franco Dragone, the creative genius behind many of the Cirque de Soleil shows. From that relationship, Dale discovered his storytelling voice. In 2005, Dale left Celine's employment, ending an eighteen-year professional theatre performing career to pursue a new life in real estate. Within three years of becoming a real estate agent, Dale was awarded top honors for individual sales volume for RE/MAX and opened a brokerage firm. After a twenty-year career as an agent and real estate coach, Dale is adding new passions to his interests, including his spiritual life as a shamanic practitioner and student of core shamanism. With the publishing of the Journey of a Dark Shaman Trilogy, and the first four books in The Language in Light Series, Dale realizes a lifelong dream of becoming an author who seeks to challenge the status quo through modern-day fables that study and dissect energy work. Dale channels his books using a process called ‘Automatic Writing,' which he discusses on his YouTube.com/DaleAllenRowse channel – as well as many of the topics covered in his books, such as personal evolution, spiritual energy work, core shamanism, manifesting, and evolving. Plus, his talks are set to a disco beat, and that's not nothing. Connect With Dale Website Facebook Instagram Hey Guys, Check This Out! Are you a guy who keeps struggling to do that thing? Dale Allen-Rowse and I unpack parts of his journey living with generalised Dystonia. We get to know Dale and really get an understanding of what Dystonia is, which is essentially part of the Tourette's family.Below is a little excerpt from Dale:"Do you know what it's like to be a teen and have to run for your life to avoid being put into Conversion Therapy? I do. Do you know what it's like to show up at your baptist minister father's funeral and be told that the reason he's dead is because of you? I do. Do you know what its like to have your mother tell you that, had she known you'd be the result of having children that she wouldn't have bothered? I do. -WHY?- Because I was raised in a religious home, not a spiritual one. And for this abuse... I am blessed. Truly. However it wasn't until I was really ready to unpack all of that 'stuff' that was still living within me, that I found its gifts. My books are spiritual fiction that talk about personal evolution and how what we've been given in life ISN'T a mistake. So much so that I'd say my greatest asset is my trauma, and while I've had to learn how to manage my PTSD and PTSD induced neurological movement disorder (generalized dystonia) I wouldn't change it for the world because its what has lead me to channeling books and shamanism and tons of other weird shit that I love and that makes sense to me - but it's there, in the chasing of your weird that we discover a crack in the expected and see God."Here is a medical site about Dystonia if you would like to know more: https://tinyurl.com/43a85xcjHere's a video Dale did showing his symptoms: https://youtu.be/zfIyzFqm4OgLink to buy Dale's bookhttps://www.amazon.com/kindle-dbs/entity/author/B0B7QH19KR?_encoding=UTF8&node=283155&offset=0&pageSize=12&searchAlias=stripbooks&sort=author-sidecar-rank&page=1&langFilter=default#formatSelectorHeaderIf you would like to donate to the running of the podcast and leave an energetic exchange that would be completely wonderful.https://tinyurl.com/366hv625You can get my book here which is a raw and honest dialogue of how I went from completely using allopathic medicine to manage a diagnosis of epilepsy, to only using a small amount of medicine and managing the rest with lifestyle choices and other wonderful plant medicines and supplementshttps://electrogirl.com.au/product/electro-girl-living-a-symbiotic-existence-with-epilepsy-paperback/If you have a story that you think other people will benefit from and you would like to be on the podcast then contact me at electrogirl55@gmail.com orFind me on FBhttps://www.facebook.com/lainie.chaitA little side note:I am not a practitioner of health professional. These shows are meant to create food for thought for people going through similar situations. The topic of gender equality is a huge one, not just a social issue but an economic issue as well. With International Women's Day around the corner, I've asked my guests, Adam Rowse & Catherine Duncan, to join me for a conversation about creating an inclusive and equitable workplace. Adam and Catherine are two people who have a big influence on how diverse and inclusive their organisations are and I know you're going to discover so many takeaways as they share their wisdom and experience in this episode. Catherine Duncan is the Chief Operating Officer at Matthews Steer Accountants & Advisers. With more than 30 years of experience in management roles, Catherine's collaborative approach, and her wide-ranging experience across industries, nationalities and networks means she is well equipped to create an environment of support, learning and growth for both her people and her clients. Adam Rowse is the Chief Customer Officer at Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, overseeing thousands of employees while leading the Business and Agribusiness banking divisions. He is passionate about diversity and inclusion within the workplace for employees, leaders and the broader community. In this conversation, we discuss some of the things Catherine and Adam have implemented in their businesses that have been successful in creating a more inclusive workplace. Equity is not a linear path, and we talk about some of the biggest influences in creating an inclusive workplace culture. We dig deeper into ideas around: What embracing equity means and why the pendulum has to swing further the other way to remove centuries of bias. Why gender equality is imperative to a successful business Embracing diversity of thought and defining targets for gender equality How the unconscious bias impacts recruitment and the overall culture of a workplace Why technology is one of the biggest contributors to enabling an inclusive and equitable workforce Lastly, Catherine and Adam share their final piece of wisdom for women in the workplace. They encourage us to understand what we need, ask for what we want and get supporters around us to champion us forward in our careers. I know you're going to love this episode. We (obviously) love his mission, we love the show, and we love hanging out with Corey, so we were thrilled when he invited us on the show. Now we're sharing that talk with you because we think you'll love Corey and his podcast too. From Corey, about this episode: "We get into all kinds of important, timely topics including: how we're all living in this "high energy environment"; the "us vs. them dynamic" and what the solution is; the value of actually getting together in person; how the Village Square is able to get people of diverse views in the same venue together; how the first casualty in this environment is nuance; and being played by the "conflict entrepreneurs."" Shout out to The Democracy Group for introducing us to Corey Nathan. The Democracy group is a network of podcasts working to understand what's broken in our democracy and how we can all work together to fix it.
