To kick this week's episode off, Andy Roddick and Jon Wertheim cover the stories that were buried in the Jannik Sinner ban and all the drama that surrounded it. Lastly, they address the recent comments made by Reilly Opelka about doubles and its place in the sport of tennis, with Andy and Jon sharing their views on this ever-growing debate. In honor of the U.S. Open going on in New York, I'm talking about one of my favorite past times - TENNIS. And, come to think of it, it's perhaps the ONE physical activity endeavor where I didn't let competition with others or especially within myself get in the way. I didn't think garbage thoughts like "my body is too fat to do this, people are judging me, I won't be good at it so I shouldn't even try." while suited up in a super cute Adidas tennis skirt and bad ass bloomers. I just picked up the racquet and swung (for the most part). --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/whosdatphatgirl/support

Tennis came to the United States in the 1870s and was quickly taken up by the East Coast upper crust, the nouveau riche of the Gilded Age. Germantown's Clarence Clark became one of its primary organizers, and his good friend and neighbor Frederick Winslow Taylor joined him as a doubles partner. William Clothier was the son of department store magnate Isaac Clothier and played his way into the International Tennis Hall of Fame. Harold Head found that he was not a very good tennis player, so he changed the equipment to improve his game, just as he had done for skiing. And William Clothier Jr. hobnobbed with the likes of Billie Jean King and Arthur Ashe while also serving as a spy for the CIA. All five of these men are interred at West Laurel Hill Cemetery in Bala Cynwyd.

A description from the FULL clip: Alexis has a problem. Her weekly tennis game is being disrupted because one of the players is moving across the country. Needing a replacement, who can compete with 3 former NCAA women's tennis players, she thinks of her office mate Ron. The other players aren't so sure, but she promises she can make Ron fit in. Everything is going well until a trip to the tennis boutique convinces Alexis that a tennis dress might be a better choice for her reluctant coworker than the simple tennis whites she had originally planned. What started out as a friendly game becomes sheer humiliation for Ron and pure pleasure for the girls. This story contains elements of female domination, feminization, and spanking.
