He could've chose a life of bitterness and resentment. There are tragic similarities in the trauma of abused children and animals raised for slaughter.    Seeing her own pain in the lives of animals being tortured and killed for food is what lead Gianna Simone to make the switch and never look back.    Before Gianna was an activist, model, and actress, it was all she could do to survive. A closer look at the similarities of trauma across generations.

He was once known as America's Pastor, but to Will Graham he was 'Daddy Bill'. Billy Graham's grandson, has followed in his father Franklin Graham and his grandfather's footsteps, to take up the mantel of Christian ministry. His first book, Redeemed, is a devotional containing loving anecdotes of growing up with a world-famous grandfather. Will also talks about what it was like playing his grandfather in the movie "Unbroken: Path to Redemption," the follow-up to the Louis Zamperini story which tells the story of Zamperini's conversion to Christianity, after attending a Billy Graham tent revival in Los Angeles. Will says even though his grandfather died almost a year ago, he finds almost daily inspiration from listening to his sermons.

Steve had the opportunity to do an exclusive interview with Louis Zamperini's son Luke. They talked about the back story to the Oscar nominated 2014 release Unbroken. It's an unbelievable true story about Luke's father Olympian War Hero Louis. The second part of his story comes out on September 14 and is called Unbroken: Path to Redemption. It goes more in depth about what happened after Louis survived 47 days at sea and three years in a Japanese prison camp. It's a powerful story about dealing with PTSD, life spiraling out of control, and the power of forgiveness. Luke shares stories about his father you won't hear or see in the films. Sunshine, directed by Danny Boyle and written by Alex Garland, is frighteningly beautiful and contemplative in that way that the best sci-fi always is - giving us themes of spirituality, science, and humanity to consider while being thoroughly entertained in a tight, tense 100 minutes.
