Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds have been a band since 1983 and have gained a cult following around Nick Cave's persona as a sort of Prince of Darkness. But about ten years ago, he encountered real tragedy that changed him and his music completely. Wild God, is The Bad Seed's 18th studio album, it deals with Cave's journey through grief of the past decade and landing on new, long dormant emotions like joy, that the band are experiencing once again. WNXP was granted this rare interview with Nick Cave.

1. This coming Friday is option expiration for February. By now, everyone knows this is a week of institutional game playing. The large institutions calculate where the small retail options trader has placed his bet and they will usually take stocks and move it away from that popular strike price this week. 2. Tomorrow the CPI report will be released at 8:30am. This report has been a market mover throughout 2022 and could be again tomorrow. Remember, a hot number would definitely signal to the market that the Fed needs to continue its rate hikes. A weak number would be the opposite. As I always say, let's see the market reaction. 3. Gold is a bit weak this morning. I'm still in the camp that gold should coninue to trade lower from here. Obviously, there is a war going on in Ukraine with a lot of NATO involvement so it is difficult to get too bearish on the precious metals. 4. Bitcoin is stalling out today. It has had a huge run recently as the markets have inflated. Last week, Fed Governor Christopher Waller commentedon crypto assets; "a crypto-asset is nothing more than a speculative asset, like a baseball card... [if price goes to zero] don't be surprised and don't expect taxpayers to socialize your losses. If that is not telling is something I really don't know what will. They are basically telling you nothing will compete with their currency. Ultimately, that will be the CBDC. https://www.financialsurvivalnetwork.com/https://inthemoneystocks.com/

Nick Jackson began racing motocross at four years old. Though this was short lived at the time, he began racing full time in District 23 ARMCA when he turned ten. He worked his way through the ranks, and now competes in the A classes in District 23 ARMCA, and even competed in two AMA Pro Motocross Nationals in 2021. In the future, Nick would like to continue competing in Pro Motocross Nationals, and would like to make a return to Loretta Lynn's ranch in 2022 in the 30+ class with his sights set on a top 5 finish.Nick attributes much of the joy in his life to motorcycling. Some of the greatest relationships in his life have come from this sport. He even explains that motorcycling kept him from going down the wrong path like many of the kids he grew up with. In addition to the friendships he's made through racing, Nick values his family, and enjoys visiting new places with the people closest to him.Once advised to “be the person you want to be, not what others want you to be,” Nick has stayed true to himself. He loves learning how to improve on the track, through his graphics business (Black Diamond MX), and in everyday life. He even rewards himself with his favorite treat after big days: a Snickers and a Sugar Free RedBull. Nick encourages other District 23 ARMCA members to “remember we all started riding for the fun of motorcycles.”This article was prepared by an independent contractor and may not be the views of the board of directors of District 23 ARMCA or any of their sponsors or affiliates.

1. Market has been quiet since before noon. Typical options ex. Sideways move, nothing major. Most indicies are flat. For Monday, you never know what you’re going to get. Market is prone to a down move and then we’ll see from there. 2. Stocks can be all over the map to assure that retail option traders don’t have to get paid. Weekly options are a bad move. Not enough time to make money. May be okay for a day trader. But avoid weeklies. You need to give yourself 2-3 months time. They are much cheaper because there’s no time premium. 3. Gold and silver are strong once again. They’ve been relentless to the upside. Nick is thinging a pull back for next week. Metals and miners are up once again. Nick will sit back and wait for the inevitable pull back. Don’t chase them higher The gold futures chart has been sideways. The charts are saying there’s way more ahead for the metals. $1750 was the big resistance point. We are overdue. Maybe on Tuesday.
1. Yesterday's sell off was on heavy volume. At this time, it looks like a pullback from an overbought condition on the charts. Either way, when you get a high volume decline from a high you must respect it. It’s probably a minor pullback. It’s a healthy pulback. Central Bank intervention still going on. 4 day pullback after the high. A little caution. 2. Gold is flat and silver is down 2%. A healthy movement. Have to let markets play out and set up.3. Vix had a good bounce. Not heading for a record again. 4. Still holding a position in MCD. If it runs where Nick expects it’s going to be a very nice. It’s holding its 100 day moving average. May be stopped out of his remaining position. 5. Negativity is back. A lot of call option buying for next week’s expiration. Took profits on UUP and made 25%. New trade in Pfizer Options. Next week is options expiration. It is a quadruple witching expiration. This means that 4 different asset classes will expire next week. It is also contract rollover time for many futures contracts. For example, the S&P 500 futures contract will move from June to September. Next week is also a time for lots of institutional game playing. Remember, there have been a lot of call options bought recently and the institutions will not let the retail options trader that is playing the expiring contract win on that trade and vice versa.
Beware of Options Expiration Week - Nick Santiago 5/12/20 #321. Options expiration for May is Friday. The real Shark Week. This is a week of institutional game playing. Generally, this is a week where you will hear a lot of rumors, mostly untrue. You will also hear a lot of ridiculous upgrades and down grades by analysts. Also, stocks and markets that are sharply higher are susceptible to pullbacks. On the flip side, stocks that have been sold off sharply and in down-trends can often get bounces this week. I call it a week of game playing, especially if the overall volume is light. Always give yourself time on the clock, which will give you protection. 2. The Rebellion starts. Elon Musk has gone head to head with the California government, especially Alameda County. He’s reopened his factory, deliberately defying the petty dictators and challenging their authority. You can’t shut down countries and expect a positive outcome. Never mess with a man’s livelihood, as Guido the Pimp warned Tom Cruise in the hit film RIsky Business. 3. No signifcant earnings reports today. GDP could be down 35% this quarter. We need to see if the economy is going to reopen. How fast will normalcy return? That’s the question. In many places it will be faster than others. Airlnes and Hotels continue to build their chart

Thanks for tweeting us and for sharing our episodes. The Shameless Plugs of the Week: Nick is back from the set of Bed of the Dead, the latest horror feature from Black Fawn Films that he was editing on-set while they were filming. Internet fans were abuzz with opinions on the Supergirl 6-minute "trailer" for the TV series premiering in the fall. It was described by some as "The Devil Wears Prada mixed with that SNL Black Widow parody trailer. Some editors have taken it upon themselves to re-edit the trailer by slimming it down considerably and amping up the action while ditching a lot of the "ditzy, urban girl problems" material. Nick has started cutting his own version, too. How do you set up your editing suite and office so that you can better concentrate and do your best work? Some editors have personal touches that they put on their work space, personalizing it and making it there own. Some are neat and tidy. Others are messy and more decorative. Some swear by 18% grey walls and balanced lighting. Others not so much. There are some things that you can do to improve your work space and allow you to edit better. Listen on to hear from Nick and Josh and about what might work for you.
