A classic Alex Suhy podcast. Back by popular demand. No time stamps on this episode, but the title pretty much sums it up. With the fresh opinion of Ian, we dive into the recent news activities going on in our great country as well as our fair share of movie discussion.

In the opening moments of this podcast, I ramble on asking paul if there is a solution to stop gun violence, and if so, HOW? We then transition into more of a spiritual, philosophical discussion, at 19:30 of this podcast. I highly suggest you listen to this part. Are people A-moral? Who decides what a moral is? 30:00 minutes I dispute the idea of amorality.
In this episode, Gavin and I take to the attic to discuss the art of acting. Gavin, an aspiring actor, has been acting for 5 years and is a member of the Young Rep theatre workshop community. We discuss the way humans create empathy for things that don't exist. The only thing that exists is feelings, and the art of acting causes those feelings to surface. We talk about film vs. theatre acting, among other topics, such as what acting means to him.
Today I talk with Mr. Mason! I ask him a series of questions about his life. Some subject matter covered in this episode involves life outlooks, ocean polluting, nudibranchs and Mr. Mason's answer to the question, what do we know more about, oceans or space? Happy listening!
Isidra, Riley and I talk in-depth about the recent Joker movie starring Joaquin Phoenix. We then lead into a discussion about his other movie, "Her."
Fun conversation to listen to!!! Fun Topics. Fun People. Period. Kanye, robots, government, Kim K's role in the culture. Good vibes.
Do you like listening to people talk? Well if you like to listen to people talk about college and classes and psychology and the death penalty and global warming then HEY! Listen to this!!
Awesome content. Everyone who is everyone listens to this. So you should too.
On this pod, despite being rudely interrupted by the school announcements and bells, we manage to have a very interesting conversation. *DISCLAIMER* We talk a lot about art on this pod. I am aware there is no video. Use your imagination. However, the entire conversation is not just about individual pieces. We talk a lot about the mind of an artist, inspiration, and the art show that just happened this Halloween!
Damn.... I can't say enough about this podcast. Aanya and I started the discussion off-camera about reproductive rights. I press record about ten minutes in. Then we dive into the stressful, but rewarding side of sports and the role it has played in our lives. Followed up by sharing our individual feelings on how Kanye is percieved, vs who he actually is, and why we think society doesn't take the time to understand him, and just write him off as "crazy." P.S. Name one genius that ain't crazy.
The Coach of my soccer team Mohamed ALY Fofana. I have been on his team since July and have had many very inspirational talks with this man. He hails from the capital city, Conakry of the West-African country Guinea. He was a civil engineer for 10-years before becoming a full time soccer coach and a husband and father.
In this short segment, Paul and I talk about the 2020 presidential candidate Andrew Yang. Andrew Yang has the concept for UBI which is controversial but has a very positive outlook on the American Economy. The trouble is, Andrew has less than 2% of polling in the Democratic primaries, as well as a crazy bi-partisan system unlikely to get through congress.
You know what goin on. Paul and I chat about opioids, Steve Jobs, government-funded media, how companies breed different types of workers, lack of privacy, GPS around the world, other countries perceptions of America, Police perceptions and racial biases, brand superiority, Travis Scott and Kylie breaking up, as well as finally the question of what is the largest social need in our country/ world today.
Riley and I discuss police accountability for our T.H.U.G. Project.
Rolling loud, climate talk you get it. Me n Suhy chop it up once again.
Let me paint you a picture. It's a beautiful Sunday morning. Isidra and I have long awaited a mono y mono podcast and the result is phenomenal. We discuss a variety of topics starting from Seth Rogan being a sexy bearded pothead to memory to police accountability to college to parents. It's a wild ride. Buckle up and get ready for another episode of Attic Antics.
Paul and I are in the same AP Government and Politics class. Today we were having a class discussion or, HOT TOPIC, as our teacher calls it. In the hot topic, a group of 3 or 4 students chooses a political issue that is relevant to today. Today's group choose climate change, and we discussed whose responsibility it is to administer legislation and regulations regarding climate change. Paul and I's opinions on the matter differ, and we posed each other with hypotheticals to try to get to know each other's perspective on how to move forward in the wake of scientific research, as well a public shift to unrest in the form of the global climate strike and a demand for action from activists like Greta Thunberg.
We just got out of a class in which we watched innocent black men and women in video format get slaughtered by police and react to the outbursts and protests that these individual incidents caused. Then we discuss waste and climate action in the wake of the recent strike.
This podcast is short an sweet. It was originally a school assignment to discuss an act of police brutality that became a hashtag. The goal was to discuss the event, what happened as a result of this, as well as our own personal incites, as well as what the character STARR from The Hate You Give thinks about how her friend dying turned into a hashtag.
Dean and his girlfriend Celia and my girlfriend Riley hop on into the Attic to talk about the strike for demanding action and legislation for climate change. We describe our experiences and our perception vs. expectations. Also, we talk about how rare it is that Celia is even in the US, and why if so many people are passionate enough to take to the streets, then why don't we do this more often???? Also scary movies.
This episode of Attic Antics Lajolie and I talk about a lot of stuff. To name a few topics, apathy in general, comedians, society, what happiness really is, friendship, why trippy conversations aren't usually brought up, and our individual experiences as humans and our desire for change and improvement.
