Send us a textCan Christians read and appreciate pagan literature? The vexed relationship between the Church and a world that hates it has generated many different responses. The most popular recent proposal is Rod Dreher's "Benedict option" - Dreher counsels Christian retrenchment and quasi-monastic self-sufficiency. But the great saint of late antiquity and compiler of the Vulgate, Jerome (aka Eusebius Sophronius Hieronymus), proposes a different option, drawn from the Mosaic Law. Jonathan and Ryan look at three different letters from Jerome's voluminous correspondence, each taking a different angle on literature and learning.Richard M. Joris Van Ael (°1949) is gehuwd en vader van vier kinderen. Hij stamt uit een kunstenaarsgezin. Sinds 1979 is Joris Van Ael zelfstandig iconograaf.

It's a new way of wellness in which there's no physical downside, there's no chemical reaction.Lesley Logan 0:16 Welcome to the Be It Till You See It podcast where we talk about taking messy action, knowing that perfect is boring. I'm Lesley Logan, Pilates instructor and fitness business coach. I've trained thousands of people around the world and the number one thing I see stopping people from achieving anything is self-doubt. My friends, action brings clarity and it's the antidote to fear. Each week, my guest will bring bold, executable, intrinsic and targeted steps that you can use to put yourself first and Be It Till You See It. It's a practice, not a perfect. Let's get started. Lesley Logan 0:57 All right, Be It babe, I have something you've never heard of before. I'm pretty sure. And it was (inaudible) something I hadn't heard of before. And there were a couple of reasons why I wanted to have our guest today on the pod. One, I find unique things interesting. And who am I to maybe this is the thing that you've always been needing to help you be it till you see it. The other thing, the other reason why, is I find when people are doing something new and different and going out of the box, very fascinating, kind of interesting, I find it like, how are they doing that? Because we live in a world that's like, let's be a tulip. Don't get taller than all the other ones, and don't constantly in the coaching world that I've been in, it's like, you don't actually want to be doing something new. You want to be doing something that's already been done before, which I find is really dumb and annoying. So I really was intrigued when I met our guest, is Tom Paladino, and the work he is doing, and it's all about energy and some healing powers. And then we also got into how he's been able to maintain his stamina and passion around something that no one's really heard of. So I think you'll find it very fascinating. And if you do use his amazing work, please let us know. We'd love to know how it's going to go out for you. And also, if you're like, yeah, I don't know about this, I still think you're going to get something so well, actually, I know, I know you're getting something so good about this, because just being around people who are freaking passionate about what they do is actually like, I am on a high just having talked with him, not having used the service yet, just having just talked to him because most of us are just around people who don't believe in themselves. And so then you walk around with that energy around you. And so listen to this guy, just for the fact of the pure passion and enthusiasm that he has about what he does. And then, if you like what he's doing, take a look at it. Also, I liked his be it action items, they're in a way, simple and yet so difficult for us to do and so I can't wait to see how you use them in your life. Here is Tom Paladino. Lesley Logan 3:00 All right, Be It babe, I promise you, today's guest is the first you've ever heard of this, and I know it's the first I've ever heard of this. And I'm really excited to dive in deeper, because I find it fascinating, intriguing, interesting, wondering, curious. So Tom Paladino is our guest today. He's a researcher. He's amazing. He's figured out some amazing things he's been doing for a really long time. Tom tell everyone who you are and what you rock at. Tom Paladino 3:23 Thank you for the invite. First of all, listen, thank you. I'm a researcher. I'm a scalar light researcher, what some people might call zero point energy or Tesla energy. What distinguishes my work is I do not work with electricity. Most researchers today are working with electricity magnetism, electromagnetic energy. Well, there's two energies I'd rather work with, scalar energy. It's quite superior to that of electricity. So we're going to speak about scalar energy testing. Lesley Logan 3:50 Okay, so I know electromagnetic energy. That one I've got. Some of the other words you said. I don't know. So scalar is the type of energy you work with, but is there a way of explaining it to me?Tom Paladino 4:02 Let's define our terms. Scalar. Energy is nonphysical divine energy. I believe it's from God. It's not a movement of electrons. Electricity is some type of movement of electrons. So we're working with consciousness. We're working with what some people might call intuition or intention. We're working with nonphysical thought. So the instrument behind me is a scalar energy instrument that taps into that dimension of nonphysicality. It's indeed a different dimension. This is the dimension beyond the space time construct. This is the energy that some people might call the ohm, or Christ-consciousness or chi or prana. It's very real.Lesley Logan 4:46 Okay, yes, I love that you brought up intuition and intention. I feel like those are, you know, less woo. But I guess we need to go back and how did you even discover that this energy exists? And how did you figure it out? Because I feel like there's a good story there, and also maybe can help us understand just how real this is. You know?Tom Paladino 5:06 I studied Nikola Tesla as a youngster, and Tesla, later in his life, was working with this energy, what he called radiant energy. Tesla said frequently he wanted to harness the sun, not harness a motor, harness sun, and that's what I'm doing. These instruments harness the energy from the sun. So Tesla was my first teacher. Thereafter, I was very fortunate to meet an American inventor, Sarah Hieronymus, and I never met her late husband, Galen Hieronymus, but they were scalar energy inventors who had scalar energy instruments who could prove that they could control this energy of the sun. So that was my understudy, and if you will, this is not taught by academia. This is so groundbreaking, so cutting edge, you're not going to find a college textbook on this. So that was my, if you will, my backstory. That was my background. I have been pursuing this independent research my entire life. It's been well worth it, because the, if you will, the payback, the dividends are so incredible to be realized from this energy. We'll explore some of those benefits today. Lesley Logan 5:06 Yeah. Okay, so thank you for that. How long have you been doing this? Because you said that was your first teacher. So how many years has this been and then what are the benefits you saw in doing it?Tom Paladino 6:23 I've been at this for 50 years, my entire life. The benefits that I've derived is I have been (inaudible) exceptional health. I am 64 years of age, and I don't take any medicine. There is I don't take any pharmaceutical problem. I do not need any medical surgery. And part of that reason is because I'm working with myself every day with this energy. This energy is my healthcare regimen. We'll get into that. How have I benefited? This instrument, if you will, prevents many diseases. This instrument, I believe, has given me a great nutritional background, a great nutritional support by way of energy, I receive my vitamins from this instrument by way of energy. This instrument allows me to target the force field of microbes, germs, and eradicate those microbes, those germs. So those just are some of the benefits that can be derived from this, what I call quantum healing. It's not physical. We'll get into that. This is all informational. Remember, all of my work is nonphysical.Lesley Logan 7:31 Right. So some of this, like, I can totally grasp, because I was just listening to Mindy Pelz, who's a scientist on fasting, and she was talking about inflammation, and what are the top reasons we have inflammation. And one of the things that she said was negative people. She said negative people cause inflammation, chronic inflammation in your body. So I was like going with that thought, this makes sense. How you protect the energy around you can definitely protect you from illnesses, diseases, things like that, and also needing surgeries or needing nutrition, because if you can protect the negative energy, if you can put a force build-up, or if you can just keep yourself around, not so negative, draining people, like, that can be helpful. So you've been doing this for 50 years. You don't look 64 so if you're not watching on YouTube, guys, you could check that out. When did you start? I guess like you've been doing this for 50 years. I'm sure you've come across people who are total doubters, and I'm sure there are people who are intrigued and they're going to keep listening. But what about the people who are like, I don't know, guys. How do people who maybe are skeptical or doubtful, how can we make them understand what you're doing in a way that doesn't make them feel like it's a double woo?Tom Paladino 8:39 I work with scientific instruments. Those instruments follow the laws of science. There cannot be any complicity with the laws of science. The laws of science are immutable. This is a scalar light instrument behind me. To demonstrate, it's pulsing right now. This instrument gives off so much power, to demonstrate, I can illuminate a light bulb in my hand, the scaler (inaudible).Lesley Logan 9:05 Oh, wow. You guys, if you're, those who are listening, he just lit, like, the light bulb's not in he's just holding it.Tom Paladino 9:09 So, that's evidence that this instrument is broadcasting some type of energy. We're in a different energy spectrum, a scalar energy spectrum, that, if you will, proves that free energy can light up a light bulb. Now, if I can light up a light bulb, then I can light up a person's aura, their force field. And that's what I'm doing. I don't want to light up a person's light bulb. I want to light up a person's aura, their energy field. That's what this instrument can achieve. Again, it's not flesh and blood. We're not working with people. We're working with the aura or the energy field of a person. Lesley Logan 9:46 Yeah, I, okay. That makes a lot of sense to me. And also, in taking myself back to when I was a little girl on a school bus, you and your friends would have your palms up, and they'd have their palms over, and you could, like, kind of, do you know what I mean? You can, kind of, like, get your hands closed and you're like, oh, I feel your aura. Like.Tom Paladino 10:00 That's it. That's it.Lesley Logan 10:01 Okay, okay, perfect. So I felt that. I understand that. So you're doing research, you're in science, you're seeing the benefits in yourself. How did you start to even understand that you could help other people? Is it because of the apprentice scene? How did it come about?Tom Paladino 10:14 Yeah, very good. Well, my apprenticeship with the Hieronymus family was just incredible. They taught me scalar energy. Again, keep in mind there might be five scalar energy engineers in the world who've ever developed instruments like this that can produce human quantum improvement health benefits. Okay, so going back to 1993, I met this family, the Hieronymus family, and they brought me into their laboratory, and they showed me what they were doing. I was awestruck. It works. Well, my predecessor, Hieronymus, was so famous at one time he was working with NASA and the FDA and other government agencies because they saw the merit of his work. Why? He was a scientist and he follows the laws of science. So there's no woo-woo here, because the laws of science cannot be changed. You cannot in any way interrupt the laws of science. That's why we have scientific instruments. That's the key to our work. So we can duplicate our work. Lesley Logan 11:18 Do we, so in order for us to benefit from scalar light work, scalar energy work, do we have to have these tools, or do we have to work with someone who's trained? And there's like five of you.Tom Paladino 11:30 That's, that's the sad part about it and I don't know why there's only a few scalar light scientists with scalar light instruments like myself. I am trying to promulgate this science. I'm an open book. I don't want this to be arcane, but sadly, very few people have followed up, as I have. It takes a lot of work. I don't blame people. And there's no paycheck in the present moment. There's no remuneration. So to answer your question, yeah, there's about five of us on the planet right now that I know of that have scalar light instruments.Lesley Logan 12:02 Okay. And so I think where I'm now really intrigued is because this is Be It Till You See It. How have you been able to continue to show up every day with this belief of something where there's only five of you with instruments, you know, that's gotta feel like people listening, gotta be like this. Gotta be an uphill battle to show up every, you know what I mean? How have you been able to be it till you see it to show up with this? Because I think so many people would just almost give up. You know? It's hard.Tom Paladino 12:29 I'm not a quitter. I don't give up. I see the merit and the people who've been with me for years, and we have many followers, they understand and they feel better. That's the key. Now, to be very clear, this cannot be proven by present-day academia, by science. Nobody's duplicated my instrument. Nobody's duplicated my work. My instrument is unique. That's why I'm saying there's probably only five people like myself that have my type of instrument, and most of them have followed in the footsteps of my predecessor, Galen Hieronymus. So it's a very narrow field, I admit to that, but I have confidence that this will catch on someday. I have confidence that someday people will see the merit. I have confidence that this will gain a mass audience someday. That day is coming. Lesley Logan 13:17 Yes, so is there like pep talks that you give yourself? You know what I mean? Because here's the deal, I'm a Pilates instructor, which people know the word Pilates, and then also, in the world, there's a bunch of different variations. The way I teach, there's only so many of us who have actually been trained in the way that I teach, and it's by Joseph Pilates. So I totally follow the idea of understanding like, when you're with the source and you're the closest, and there's only a few of you, sometimes I can feel like, oh my gosh, everyone keeps saying, I do reformer Pilates. I'm like, there's no such thing, that's just Pilates on a reformer. I can find myself wanting to, like, hit my head against the wall. What do you tell yourself each day to keep going, to make this something that you're so passionate about, to continue the passion because the middle is so hard.Tom Paladino 13:56 You're right, and to put this into a common day experience, it's the reason why people get up and go to school and work a job and have a marriage or have kids or have goals, etc. You believe in yourself. I believe in myself. If this was not rendering great results, I'd say well, I made a mistake. I have to do something else. No, it's rendering wonderful results. I believe in myself. Our subscribers believe in us. But we haven't hit that point, that tipping point, where it's mainstream. When will it become mainstream? I don't know. Only God knows. That's a great point. You have to believe in yourself. And I'm sure your audience, they've come up, they've had this, if you will, this crossroads in their life, in which it depends, but what crossroad you want to take? I believe in myself. So I'm going to teach you to do this until the day I die.Lesley Logan 14:50 So then did your parents just phrase you to believe in yourself? Has it always been easy? What would you tell someone who doesn't? Like people who (inaudible) out so much that they can't believe that they were given a gift. You have this gift and you believe you have this gift. And I that's what I think is so cool about you. It's so rare that someone just like totally believes even when they're coming, they've seen the results, they have the research, they've done all this stuff, but it hasn't hit that tipping point yet, right? Like whatever Seth Godin says, I think it's called the tipping point. There are people who are listening where their self-doubt is so, is stronger than anything that they, because that's how they've always lived. And I guess I'm just curious how you believe in yourself so well. Tom Paladino 15:32 Believe in God, believe in yourself. Have goals, have objectives. I believe in God. I believe in myself. Don't listen to the negativity of the role. I've had some snide comments. I don't lose sleep over them. I don't listen to them. It's a waste of time, people. If you follow your purpose in life, that's it. Remove all of those extraneous noise. It doesn't matter.Lesley Logan 15:57 Yeah, yeah. I think that's the voices that you've made up in your head or the ones that are on repeat from a family member you don't even talk to, or it's being distracted by the other people who are trying to put their stuff on you. That's such a good thing. Okay, so let's get into more of this together. Like, how can people, how do people know they need it?Tom Paladino 16:16 Okay, everybody needs it, whether everybody realizes that or not. Why? It improves your force field regardless. Energy from the sun, this divine energy, will always enhance the human condition. Now I have no medical problems. I'm 64 years of age. I'm not on one pharmaceutical product. I still treat myself every day. What am I getting at? This is nonphysical. Hence it's nonchemical. Listen carefully to what I'm about to say. I don't work with people, which would be a physical treatment. I don't work with the biochemical person. I work with people through their photograph. This is my photograph. If somebody sends me a photograph, I simply print it out on the piece of paper and I placed the photograph inside the instrument. Now, what's the point? That photograph, my photograph now, is experiencing a scaler energy force field. I feel that. If I can light up a light bulb, then I can light up my chakras on that photograph. That's what's happening right now. I know I'm rather sensitive, and I could feel that, that energy now tingling in my brain, in my mind. I can feel that, if you will, as I'm treating myself through my photographic force field. This is a new science. Has nothing to do with Newtonian science. This is a new science, quantum science, in which we access a person's aura, their force field, through their photograph. It's a new way of wellness in which there's no physical downside, there's no chemical reaction. It's information and people do not come to my lab. They send their photographic double. That's right.Lesley Logan 18:00 That's kind of, I mean, that's kind of nice, right? Tom Paladino 18:02 Thank you. I can be in two places at once through a scanner and G-force field, in which I never work with people. The instruments are not designed to work with people. Their instruments are designed to work with a force field, which is their Bilocated version. Lesley Logan 18:16 Yeah. This is, okay, so of course, there's a part of me going, oh, my God, can someone do voodoo on my photo? I'm not you, but like.Tom Paladino 18:25 You know, that's a good point. Now, that gives credence to the point that some people in the occult claim that they could take a photograph put a hex on the photograph. Now, that's not my line, I think. But is there a connection to a photograph to a person's force field? Yes, that, my photograph carries my soul, mind and body. My blood type is on that photograph, my eye color is on that photograph, my background, my genetic background, is on that photograph, a photograph light energy carries our makeup, my makeup as a human being is on that photograph. Lesley Logan 19:02 Okay, as someone whose photograph is taken all the time, this is a very (inaudible) to me. Okay, so the, the next thing is, what's really nice about this is it's not another appointment I have to make, which is great. For the busy person listening, you can go be it till you see it without having to make an appointment. But I guess then, my next question is, like, do you need to know why I want the scalar light energy work? Or your don't even need to know what the things are. Do you have to know like, oh, I think I have the flu. Or is it just like, we put it in there and your machines do the work without needing to know what they're working on?Tom Paladino 19:34 On balance, the instrument does the work without any diagnosis. Now that's a good point. I do not diagnose. This is not a medical device. I don't want to claim that I'm diagnosing that's for the medical field, which is wonderful. Remember, I work with the aura, a force field. There's no hospital in the world that works with your scalar energy aura. So what's the point? You simply send me, email me your photograph. Here's a collage. Every day, I'll print out a collage, thousands of photographs, and I place them inside the instrument, and the instrument will ascertain what health challenges you have and start negating those health challenges. In other words, disease appears as a signature, as a some type of code, a scalar energy instrument, can find a disease signature and eliminate the code. Eliminate the signature. It's much like turning on a light bulb and having light and turning off a light bulb and you have no illumination. What's the point? If disease is some type of skin energy signature. I turn off the signature of scalarlight. I negate the scalar light signature of disease.Lesley Logan 20:48 How do you prioritize yourself in all of this? Because I can tell you care so much about what you do, and I have a lot of women who listen, who are so passionate about the things that they do that they actually don't take care of themselves anymore. You clearly do because you have no issues or diseases or lack of energy. We can tell that. So how are you prioritizing yourself in trying to make your goals happen?Tom Paladino 21:10 Every day, I start the day with prayer. I've got a great wife. She mandates that I have a super diet, that I have a logical diet. We don't overeat. I exercise frequently. I pray frequently. I am happy. I'd rather be gregarious than negative. So that is part of my lifestyle. The guy you see on this TV on the video screen is 64 years of age, without any complications, and I never has been on one medication ever in my life. Why? Well, it's because of my lifestyle. It's because of scaler.Lesley Logan 21:43 So if I were to send in my photo, would I know when you were working on it? Would I just feel different? How would I know that this works?Tom Paladino 21:51 That's a good point. People will send me their photograph, and they'll say, Tom, can you help? I have, I have Epstein–Barr. Now again, it's always by way of a photograph. So I'll take a person's photograph, and with this technique that I've developed, I'm able to take a magnified photograph of Epstein-Barr and have the two photographs communicate. I'm holding in my hand a photograph of Epstein–Barr. And what's the point? These two force fields communicate. And after they communicate, if I have in my aura, in my photographic force field, Epstein–Barr, the instrument will negate the force field of Epstein–Barr, will eradicate, remove, disassemble, Epstein-Barr. Now, after I do that, people tell me they no longer have symptoms of Epstein–Barr or some people will have a PCR test. Here's one test in particular. After I work with this person, their PCR test is not detected, no viral load, so I have to rely upon people. But our testimonies are stupendous. People from around the world tell me that they feel better. Now, I don't know anybody who who can show a track record, as I have, with thousands of people around the world, different lifestyles, different backgrounds, but essentially, all of them feel better, and I've never met them. How is that possible? It's not human ingenuity. There's no human diagnosis. It's simply the energy correcting the disease signature. You see the chemical level, the disease already manifests. Why not go to the signal, to the signature, before the disease manifests? It's so much easier at the level of cause than working at the level of effect. Which the biological level.Lesley Logan 23:38 Yeah, I understand that, because sometimes we take medications that help with just the symptom, but don't actually get to the root of the problem. You know, like yesterday, I was sneezing and I was on a call, and I was like, oh my god, I can't stop sneezing. So I took this allergy spray that I and I was like, okay, now I'm not sneezing, but it doesn't solve the problem of the sneeze in the first place. What is in my office that is causing me to sneeze. So if that, correct me, if I'm wrong, but that's what you're saying. What you're trying to do is like before you're trying to take care at the aura level, at the top level, versus all the way down, just like at the symptoms of the problem.Tom Paladino 24:14 Yes, thank you. The sneeze is the manifestation. The runny nose is the manifestation. What if we can tell this instrument to look for the energy field of a virus, the influenza virus, and negate it, remove it. That makes much more sense than worrying about the symptoms. I don't work at the symptom level of symptoms. I work at the causal level.Lesley Logan 24:36 Yeah. So, okay, so it's really cool. This is just, I'm just, observations. I think it's fascinating. A lot of times when I hear some unique ways of healing, they're kind of anti-science or anti-medical, but you are taking the medical diagnosis that someone gets from someone else, and you're using that on a different level. And I think that's really (inaudible) because, oviously, Western medicine has its perks. Sometimes, like something's wrong, you need the diagnosis. So this is really fascinating. What if I don't have a diagnosis yet? What if I just don't feel good and no ones's able to figure it out? Can the scalar light stuff help?Tom Paladino 25:16 Yes, it can. I'll give you a for instance, for the past five months, I've rolled out a new program I've worked with over 100 people who had cancer, 100 people, and most of those people after the past four or five months are in remission. Now I don't claim to be a cancer specialist. What I claim is that this instrument can pick out the force field of cancer in a tumor, and negate it, shut off the tumor, shut off the cancer, negate the signature cancer or tumor. That's my claim.Lesley Logan 25:49 Is it your hope that people would use this before they need it? Or is it, once they have the diagnosis, do they still go to the doctor while you're working with their aura? What's your favorite combination?Tom Paladino 26:01 Yeah, that's a proper term. I'm working with their aura, their force field, and it is preventative. Now, keep in mind, I get a yearly checkup. Doctor says you're fine. I have not one medical issue. Now, why? My wife has not one medical issue? What's the point here? We're not on any meds, because we take care of ourselves, but we're on scalar, which is preventative. I'll make this bold statement, as long as this instrument is working, functioning properly, I declare I'll never develop cancer in my life. That's my declaration, because I can identify a cancer signature and negate it. So it's in my case. I'll speak for my, it's my testimony. It's my body. It's preventative. I have 3000, 4000 testimonies on our website that speak of other people's testimony. To be clear, this cannot be reproduced. Nobody's ever reproduced by work. This instrument, my laboratory, is unique, and until somebody reproduces my work, then I I have to rely upon testimonies.Lesley Logan 27:04 Yeah. And also it's like, partly, if someone did, was able to reproduce it, then people would, I feel like it might be able to hit that tipping point, you know, sooner. But also, it's so hard if they haven't trained the way that you trained. What are you most excited about right now, and what are you hoping that people take away from this?Tom Paladino 27:23 I'm excited about life. I'm excited anytime we can improve our well-being, we do so. By the way, every day I have one or two goals, research goals, and I usually meet those. If I can do it, you can do it. If I have goals, you can do it. If I can introduce something that's new and different to mankind, everybody can do that, or at least everybody can participate. Why not improve our human condition? That's what I'm trying to do. In order to make an improvement, we have to change. If things aren't working out, we have to change. That's what I (inaudible). This is a change for the better.Lesley Logan 27:57 I really like your enthusiasm for life, and I think, also, everyone listening, those are some just really great ways to go about everything you're doing. Let's just be excited about it. This is fascinating. If you guys haven't been watching this on our YouTube channel, it's worth going back, because he has been showing different things, like not every YouTube interview is, got visuals. So this is one of those ones want to get back to. We're going to take a brief break and then find out how people can find you, follow you, work with you, and your Be It Action Items.Lesley Logan 28:23 All right, Tom, if somebody wants to have you work with them, where should they go? How can they follow you? How can they get more information if they're curious?Tom Paladino 28:32 I'm all about performance. So the first thing you're going to do, go to the website, scalarlight.com, S-C-A-L-E-R and you'll visit that website, and you're allowed to submit, email your photograph, we'll work with you and your family for free. We'll treat your photograph for 15 days. I do that because I want to prove to you that this works. I want to prove that you're going to feel better after 15 days of (inaudible). So the website, scalarlight.com. Now, moving forward, I'd like to prove this to the world. I'll treat the world for free. If I have 8 billion people can sign up for the free session. What's the point here? To improve the world condition. That's why I've done this. This is why for 50 years I've been out on this path of discovery. I'm a humanitarian. I want to improve your lifestyle, my lifestyle. So, participate. Help me with this.Lesley Logan 29:26 So, okay, hold on. I have one more question, can you work with a photograph that is not sent to you? Or do you, do you know what I mean? Could you, in theory, take photographs of people that are just like out of a yearbook or no?Tom Paladino 29:39 You can. You can. Any photograph is a source of light. My photograph is my fingerprint, so to speak, and my life is embedded upon that photograph. Yeah. So yes, you could walk into a football state. I mean, you could take photographs of 60, 70,000 people in a football stadium. Yes. Now, fast forward this, in my laboratory today, I've been working with half a million photographs. Over the years, people sent me their photographs. Today, I work with half a million photographs. Lesley Logan 30:08 Wow, wow. Okay, well, that's, I mean, how, so someone like you could send your friend's photograph in you're really worried about them.Tom Paladino 30:19 It's a permission. We ask people to (inaudible).Lesley Logan 30:22 Get permission. I appreciate that. Okay, so get their permission. Don't just send people's auras in. Okay, all right. This has been really fascinating. You've given us so much of like self-talk and also amazing information about what it is that you do. Before we let you go, bold, executable, intrinsic or targeted steps people can take to be it till they see it, what do you have for us?Tom Paladino 30:44 Just be happy in life. And if you want to change your life, then just make steps, gradual steps. Every day I have goals. Imagine if you had one goal a day and you're only working Monday through Friday. Well, that means, out of 220 days out of a year that you're working, you're going to make 220 improvements in your business, in your home life, family life, in your social life. What if you make just one improvement a day? You'd only do that Monday through Friday. That's 200-some improvements a year. Imagine what the world would be if everybody could have one improvement, one benefit per day. That's 8 billion people experiencing benefits every day. That's what the world is missing. We have to stop fighting. Improve the world condition. Be happy. Stop fighting. Let's make progress.Lesley Logan 31:38 Yes. Did you hear that? You guys? One goal a day, just one. I think the problem is some people have 17, and that is why we don't get to move forward. So I love this. Tom, you're doing really cool things, and they're really interesting and really fascinating, and I'm excited to see what you do. I do believe your passion is going to take you everywhere you want to go. And I also believe that when people are trying to do good things in this world, they can't, like, it has to work out. It has to be seen. So thank you for doing the efforts that you do, and for taking care of people and yourself, because that's how this planet becomes a more and more amazing place. Lesley Logan 32:12 You all, how are you going to use these tips in your life? Make sure you check out Tom. Tom, are you on the socials?Tom Paladino 32:18 Yes.

Tom Paladino is a Scalar Light researcher who claims that Scalar Light technology, otherwise known as the Divine source energy that creates all things and which makes up the Sun and the stars themselves, can be utilized to interface with our brain waves and address emotional, psychological, and physical health issues. Tom states that this Light source has a corrective or therapeutic intelligence based in the double-helix form of a scalar wave, first discovered by Nikola Tesla. He states that the ratio and proportion of a scalar wave form is identical to the double-helix design of human DNA and, therefore, fundamental to the body's natural healing mechanisms. Tom began researching Scalar energy in his undergraduate studies, and has been working with his unique scalar light instruments since 1993, the design of which he attributes to a previous pioneer, Galen Hieronymus. If you are interested in exploring Tom's work, you can visit his website at scalarlight.com. Tom offers a free 15 day trial of scalar light sessions done remotely with only the use of a photograph. This episode covers a wide range of topics fueled by the possibility of free energy and advancement in the areas of light-based healing. May it be an invitation, a gift, and a medicine to consider a new frontier in the realm of energetics, light, and expansion. The views in this episode do not represent my personal views nor are they to be taken as medical advice or scientific fact. Always do your own research, come to your own conclusions, and trust your own guidance. FOOTNOTES -Apologies for the sound distortion in the beginning, it smoothes out! ~9min Tom really does light up a bulb with his Scalar Light instrument! ~12min Tom references Kirlian Photography, a photographic technique used to capture Bio Energetic or subtle energy fields unable to be detected by conventional means (This claim is not yet accepted within the scientific community)

Welcome to Episode 204 of Lucretius Today. This is a podcast dedicated to the poet Lucretius, who wrote "On The Nature of Things," the only complete presentation of Epicurean philosophy left to us from the ancient world. Each week we walk you through the Epicurean texts, and we discuss how Epicurean philosophy can apply to you today. If you find the Epicurean worldview attractive, we invite you to join us in the study of Epicurus at EpicureanFriends.com, where you will find a discussion thread for each of our podcast episodes and many other topics. This week we continue our discussion of Book Two of Cicero's On Ends, which is largely devoted Cicero's attack on Epicurean Philosophy. This week we move on through Section XIII, starting roughly here:... Well, this is directed against Aristippus, who accounts that pleasure which all of us alone call pleasure, to be not only the highest but the only form of pleasure; while your school holds different doctrine. But he, as I have said, is in fault; since neither the shape of the human body nor reason, preeminent among man's mental endowments, gives any indication that man came into existence for the sole purpose of enjoying pleasures. Nor indeed must we listen to Hieronymus, whose supreme good is the same as that on which your school sometimes or rather very often insists, absence of pain. For if pain is an evil it does not follow that to be free from that evil suffices to produce the life of happiness. Let Ennius rather speak thus: he has a vast amount of good who has no ill; let us estimate happiness not by the banishment of evil, but by the acquisition of good, and let us not seek this in inactivity, whether of a joyous kind, like that of Aristippus, or marked by absence of pain, like that of our philosopher, but in action of some sort and reflection. Now these arguments may be advanced in the same form against the Carneadean view of the supreme good, though he proposed it not so much with the purpose of securing approval as with the intention of combating the Stoics, against whom he waged war; his supreme good is however of such a nature that when joined to virtue it seems likely to exert influence and to furnish forth abundantly the life of happiness, with which subject our whole inquiry is concerned. Those indeed who join to virtue either pleasure, the thing of all others which virtue holds in least esteem, or the absence of pain, which though it is unassociated with evil, still is not the supreme good, make an addition which is not very plausible, yet I do not understand why they should carry out the idea in such a niggardly and narrow manner. For, as though they had to pay for anything which they join with virtue, they in the first place unite with her the cheapest articles, next they would rather add things singly than combine with morality all those objects to which nature had primarily given her sanction. And because these objects were held worthless by Pyrrho and Aristo, so that they said there was absolutely no distinction of value between the best possible health and the most serious illness, people have quite rightly ceased long ago to argue against these philosophers. For by determining that on virtue alone everything so entirely depends, that they robbed her of free selection from among these objects, and allowed her neither starting point nor foothold, they abolished that very virtue of which they were enamoured. Erillus again by assigning all importance to know- ledge, kept in view a single kind of good, but not the best kind nor one by whose aid life can possibly be steered. So he too was long ago cast into oblivion, for since the time of Chrysippus there have certainly been no discussions about him.

Tom Paladino, with over 25 years of expertise in Scalar Energy Research, has devoted himself to creating healing methods aimed at aiding global recovery from pathogenic infections, promoting overall health and wellness. His journey began during his undergraduate years, where the works of various scientists, including Hieronymus, Moray, Priore, and Nikola Tesla, captivated him. These works, centered around an energy distinct from the electromagnetic spectrum—known by various names such as prana, chi, radiant energy, zero-point energy, qi, orgone, or eloptic energy—became the foundation of his research.Driven by a passion to harness this universal energy, Paladino embarked on a path of independent study, culminating in the development of a unique healing technique known as Scalar Light. This technique, rooted in the transmutation of pathogens, offers a promising approach to alleviating symptoms of pathogenic diseases. It operates by utilizing photographs of individuals, applying remote passive light energy to influence the human biofield, aiming to disassemble disease-causing agents at the quantum level.Find out more at https://www.TruthSeekah.com/Tom-Paladino

Today on Sense of Soul Podcast is Scalar Energy Researcher and Humanitarian Tom Paladino. Tom is on a personal mission to make a difference in the world by providing people with the education and tools to restore optimal health so mankind can enhance their quality of life. Tom began research with Scalar Energy during his undergraduate years after developing a deep admiration for the father of Scalar Energy research or knowledge, Nikola Tesla. He was also able to study the work of a man Hieronymus who continued research on Scalar Energy. Hieronymus' major contributions included unbinding the RNA/ DNA bonds of microbes plaguing. What is Scalar Energy? It is Scalar Light emitted continuously from the Sun of our Solar System, and all the Stars in the Universe. It is the fundamental life force energy found everywhere in the world, space and universe. It originates from the sun and stars. Call it chi, prana, mana, Reiki and Chakra energy, pyramid energy or zero-point energy, all are synonymous for Scalar Energy. He theorized that all energy in the universe initiates as Scalar Energy; and that the sun of our solar system and the stars of the universe are the points of origin, “the storehouses,” for scalar energy. He further theorized that scalar energy is instructive energy, as the entire universe is instructed by this Divine Essence. Subsequently, all spiritual, cognitive, emotional and physical action in the universe is initiated and maintained by Scalar Energy instructions. Scalar Energy provides order in the universe. Scalar Light Sessions are administered remotely by way of a photograph of a person, animal, plant or object. On this episode of The Black Wine Guy Experience, my guest is Count Michael Goëss-Enzberg, caretaker of the historic Manincor Estate in Caldaro, Alto Adige. The historical buildings date back to 1608. They were built by Hieronymus Manincor. For his loyalty to the Crown of Austria, the Emperor elevated him to nobility status and bestowed him with land on the shores of Lake Kaltern.Hieronymus adapted his family's coat-of-arms to symbolize “Man-in-cor” (meaning “Hand on the heart”). It can still be seen on the facade of the winery building today. In 1662 his granddaughter married an ancestor of Count Enzenberg. The Enzenberg family has been growing wine grapes since the end of the 17th century. Historical documents refer to Enzenberg wine cellars in Terlano, Caldaro, and Schwaz in what is now North Tyrol. In 1978 the estate finally passed to Count Enzenberg. We hear about Count Michael's journey from California to Terlano and how he adopted biodynamic principles to ensure a natural approach to winemaking. We learn about the unique challenges and beauty of growing wine in the region, with its wide variety of grapes and the wide range of altitudes where wine is grown. We also delve into the importance of service in the wine industry and how it can make all the difference in creating memorable experiences for customers. Join us as we discover true farm-to-table cooking and how the presence of animals can help bring Soul back to the vineyard and create harmonious work and growing conditions.A Massive THANK YOU to Count Michael Goëss-Enzberg!!!To learn more about Manincor Wine Estate, click the link!Follow Manincor on IG____________________________________________________________Until next time, cheers to the mavericks, philosophers, deep thinkers, and wine drinkers! Join me as we explore the remarkable craftsmanship, profound influence, and indelible mark left by these legendary violin makers. Discover the distinctive characteristics of their creations, renowned for their elegance, exquisite sound, and unparalleled craftsmanship. Delve into the secrets of the Amati brothers' workshop, uncovering their innovative techniques, meticulous attention to detail, and the artistry that made their instruments treasures coveted by musicians and collectors worldwide. In this episode I speak to Cellist James Beck and Violin maker and Expert Carlo Chiesa. Transcript of Episode Welcome back to Cremona, a city where you can find almost anything your everyday Renaissance citizen could desire. Located on a bend of the impressively long Po River, bursting with artisans and commerce, we find ourselves in the mid-1500s, and more precisely in the home of Girolamo Amati and Antonio Amati, otherwise known as the Amati brothers or the brothers Amati. In these episodes, I'll be talking about Andrea Amati's two sons, Antonio Amati and Girolamo Amati. Sometimes Girolamo Amati is also referred to as Hieronymus, the Latin version of his name. Because I'm doing these podcasts chronologically, we heard about the early childhood of the brothers, in the Andrea Amati episodes. As we heard in the previous episode, Antonio Amati, the elder brother, by quite some years, perhaps even 14 years older than Girolamo Amati, inherited his father's workshop with his little bro when their father died. They grew up in Cremona during the mid-1500s, in a time that was relatively more peaceful than their father's childhood and would have attended the local school. The local school was attended mainly by children of merchants and nobles. They would learn, in addition to the traditional subjects of geometry, arithmetic, and even astrology, subjects such as geography, architecture, algebra, and mechanics, both theoretical and applied. This created quite a well-educated middle class that the brothers would have been part of. Like their father, they would go on to be quite successful in their business, adapting their products to the demands of the time. The brothers were growing up in post Reformation Cremona, and the instrumental music was bounding forward. Renaissance composers were fitting words and music together in an increasingly dramatic fashion. Humanists were studying the ancient Greek treaties on music and the relationships between music and poetry and how it could. This was displayed in Madrigals and later in opera and all the while the Amati workshop along with other instrument makers of course were toiling away making instruments so that all this could happen. Now the eldest brother Antonio Amati never appears to marry or have a family but the younger brother Girolamo Amati apparently a ladies man, does and as you would have heard in the previous episodes, when he was 23, he married Lucrencia Cronetti, a local girl, and she comes to live in the Amati house, handing over her dowry to her new husband (Girolamo Amati) and father in law (Andrea Amati). A few years later, Girolamo Amati's father saved up enough money to buy the family home so that when he passes away in 1576. Girolamo Amati is in his mid-twenties and his older brother (Antonio Amati) is probably around his late thirties. They inherited a wealthy business, a house, and a workshop. So here we find the Amati brothers living and working together in the house and workshop in San Faustino (Cremona). Antonio Amati, the head of the household and Girolamo Amati with his young bride. Business is looking good, and life looks promising. Antonio and Girolamo may have been some of the only violin makers in Cremona, but they were by far not lone artisans in the city. They were surrounded by merchants and tradespeople busy in industry. There were belt makers, embroiderers, blacksmiths, carpenters, boat builders, masons, terracotta artisans, weavers, textile merchants, and printers, just to name a few of the 400 trades listed in the city at this period. Business was going well for our violin makers. There was a boom in the city. Many noble houses were being built amongst which the grand residences of merchants stood out, sanctioning their social ascent. Charitable houses, monasteries and convents were popping up like mushrooms around town. Ever since the Counter Reformation, the local impetus to help the poor and unfortunate had flourished. Wondering what the Counter Reformation is? Then go back and listen to episode two of the Andrea Amati series. Where we talk about what the Reformation was, what the Counter Reformation was, and what its effects were on artisans in Cremona. But nowhere said organized religion like the Cathedral. And entering the vast, echoey structure was something to behold, with its mysterious, awe-inspiring grandeur, the towering heights of the ceilings inspiring a sense of reverence and humility. The vaulted arches and frescoed domes drawing the eye upwards, the kaleidoscope of colors entering the windows, and the glittering of precious metals illuminated by flickering candles, ornate furnishings, intricate artworks, sculptures, and base reliefs with depictions of saints, biblical stories, and the scenes from the life of Christ covering the walls, all created an otherworldly feeling and a sense of the divine. And what would the Cathedral be without music? The glittering of gold, the fragrant smell of incense, and the heavenly sounds of music were an all-in-one package for the regular church attender in the Amati Brothers Day. The Chapel House School of the Cathedral produced many talented composers, yet the church would only sponsor and permit sacred music. And even then, this music had to be in full compliance with the Council of Trent. This meant following a whole bunch of rules in composition. Wing clipping of aspiring young composers led to many of them moving away to other courts and cities who were looking for fresh, raw talent. This may or may not have been the case for a musician and composer called Claudio Monteverdi. But what we do know is that he left Cremona to join the employ of the Mantuan court at the age of 23. I spoke to cellist James Beck about Monteverdi, who was a Cremonese composer who left the city to work at the Gonzaga court during the Amati brother's lifetime. And so Monteverdi, for example, to take him as an example, he was employed in the court, in the Manchurian court, and he was just one of many musicians and composers. And also I'm wondering about just, the everyday life, would they also, were musicians expected to, to wear certain. Clothes, like they were just told, look, this is what you're wearing. James Beck Livery is the term for the, the uniform of the house. And we know about that kind of stuff from, you know, Downton Abbey and all that kind of stuff so musicians were very much part of the servant class, a very intellectual servant class and a very trusted servant class, but Monteverdi arrived at that Gonzaga court in Mantua as a string instrument player of some kind. We don't really know if it was a gamba, you know, between the legs or brachio held like a violin. He was at the court for about, I think, 10 or 15 years as a string player before he became The Maestro de Capelle and of course that was a very trusted employee because he accompanied his employer, the Duke, on various war campaigns or social outings to other countries, as a musician and maybe as some kind of trusted part of the entourage. So, Monteverdi was picking up lots of ideas about things that could go on in music because he was witnessing different practices, he was in Flanders. He was in Hungary. He was in other parts of Italy seeing how they did music over there on the other side of the fence and I think that is what can never be underestimated, that communication was haphazard and accidental in previous times and there was no such thing as uniformity. So, to go to another country and to go to another court and to see musicians who had different training or had come into different spheres of influence to yourself would have been hugely, hugely exciting and influential and we think that Monteverdi picked up some of the ideas of what might be opera from these kind of trips. Linda Lespets It makes me think of when I was a student and I would do work experience in different workshops and they would, I had been taught in French school, it was a very specific way of doing things and I'd go to another workshop and I'd just be like, wow, it's like, what are you, what are you doing? How could this possibly work? And it does. And you're like, oh, and now I feel like I, the way I work, it's a mixture of all these different techniques. What works best for me. And it must've been magnified so much, to such a greater level for in that period for music and competition. Because of the, because of the social isolation and the geographic isolation of previous times. James Beck And I mean, just if we just talk about pitch, whole idea of what is An A was different in each town, and it might have sounded better on some instruments than not so good on others, and those instruments would have been, you know, crafted to sound good at those different pitches. And now we all play the same pitch, and we want every instrument to be the same. What were some of the, if you could generalize, what were some of the differences for you? In the different Lutherie schools. Linda Lespets So, in the French method, you basically hold everything in your hands or it's like wedged between you and the workbench and you don't use really, uh, vices. And I have quite small hands and I did one work experience and the guy was like, just put it in a vice. And I was like, Ohhh, and I was getting a lot of RSI and sore wrists and it kind of just, it was sort of practical as well. James Beck Wow. And is that for crafting? Individual elements or is that for working on complete instruments? Linda Lespets Like in general, like you just, you can make a violin without using a vice and they, they won't use sandpaper or it's all done with, scrapers. So it's good. I know all the different techniques and I can, when there is a blackout or an electricity failure, we can just keep on going. Like, we can keep rolling, it doesn't stop us. There was a thing with Monteverdi that, that you seem to know about how madrigals. James Beck I know about madrigals. I hope I do. Linda Lespets In Mantua and the, this kind of trapezoidal room. James Beck There's a very special room in the ducal court. Ducal castle or Ducal palace in Mantua, and they call it the wedding room and it's a room that was, had existed for some time. I mean, it's a huge, huge palace, I think it's the sixth largest palace in Europe. So, it's 34, 000 square meters, 500 rooms. And this is not, I mean, Mantua was not a big state. You never know when you need 500 rooms. It wasn't a big state, but it was a very aspirational state. And they really wanted to kind of prove themselves amongst these, the cultural elite of Northern Italy, because there were extraordinary things going on in Florence and Venice. So, you know, they were really, the Gonzaga's were really trying to hold their own. So, they had one of these 500 rooms slightly remodelled. So it was of cube proportions. Right. So, you walk into a cube. You walk into a cube and then, they commissioned, a very, uh, distinguished painter to cover, everything within that room in very realistic, uh, lifelike portraits of, of the Gonzaga's going about their life. And this was the highest status room in the palace, and it was used for various purposes to impress. So, it could be used for ceremonies, or it could be used for, as a bedchamber for the Duke if he wanted to receive a guest of high status, and show that guest that he slept in this incredible room. Linda Lespets Slightly creepy. All these people looking at you. James Beck I know, and they're really, there's a lot of eyeballing in those portraits. So it's like, you're outnumbered. Like when you go in there, like you're surrounded by people. You're surrounded by the Gonzaga's. We're here. That was not a very, uh, fertile or, healthy line. So, they were dying out fast, but there were lots of them painted on the walls. Linda Lespets Wasn't there one with mirrors? James Beck There was a hidden room, that they discovered in, I think 1998. ., which had mirrors. Linda Lespets and I was wondering what the, maybe it was polished metal, the mirrors. James Beck I'm not sure where they would, where they would sing madrigals. Well, they think it was specifically for, for performances of Monteverde, but I don't know. . Why a hidden room is needed. Yes. And how, how do you hide a room for 500, or, sorry, for 200 years, maybe it was walled up. Linda Lespets Well, I mean, if you're in a palace with 500 rooms, you might miss one, you know, if it's walled up. James Beck And also there was a big, there were quite a lot of, traumatic experiences in the Mantuan court. Not long after Monteverde left there, there was a siege and a war and then a lot of plague. So you can see how knowledge could dissipate and everyone could die that knew about it , exactly absolutely. When the Gonzagas were running out of heirs, their neighbours and, and particularly the Hapsburgs, were like, Hmm, we might take that little gem of a dutchie. So they, they laid siege to it for two summers. War was a summer sport at those days. 'cause you know, no one wanted to do it in winter 'cause it was just too much. And Mantua is at that stage was completely surrounded by water. It was very cleverly conceived and beautifully conceived too because the water reflects the beautiful buildings. And so they, the Mantuan's stockpiled food and drew up the bridges. And, and for two years they were, no one came in or out of the city whilst the Habsburgs laid siege. And actually the Habsburgs didn't really get through those defences, but at the, in the second summer, in the second siege, a cannonball did get through and then the whole, the cannonball made some rats got through and those dirty soldiers who'd been on campaign for two summers were riddled with plague and the plague got into the town and that was actually undoing of the Gonzaga dynasty. Linda Lespets A rat brought them down. James Beck A rat brought them down. And so, the plague weakened the city. The city fell. And then that plague was taken by those refugees from Antwerp down into Venice. And Venice was absolutely devastated by plague for something like 10 years. And the city's population plummeted to its lowest in 150 years. Linda Lespets Wow. . And it's true that war was like a summer sport. And I'm wondering if nowadays, we, you know... That's, we play sport instead. Well, I hope, I think that's why we do play organized sport. I think that's, you know, it's... Take the World Cup or something. Well although that's, not... To get that aggression, to get all that aggression out of our system in a nicely controlled manner. James Beck It is like countries like against each other. Totally is. Linda Lespets The Cremona City Municipality had at its disposal a group of wind players, mostly made up of brass instruments, trombones, bombards, bagpipes, and sometimes a cornet. This ensemble was particularly suited for outdoor performances. Or at least I hope it was. I don't know if you've ever heard a bombard being played inside. I have. Anyway, the viola da braccia players and viola or violin players were also employed by the town hall and given a uniform made of red and white cloth. This was the instrumental group in the church, and it doubled up for civic occasions as well. I speak to Carlo Chiesa, violin maker and expert in Milan. Carlo Chiesa And the other way by which Cremonese makers got their success is musicians, because in the 16th century, there are a few important Cremonese musicians moving from Cremona and going to northern cities to play for the emperor, for the king, or to Venice. I think the most important supplier of instruments at some point out of Cremona was the Monteverdi Circle. Linda Lespets This orchestra employed by the city of Cremona played both for the council and in the church on all public holidays and in processions. One of their members, a cornet player called Ariodante Radiani, who was paid the considerable sum of 100 lira. When the maestro di cappella was paid 124 lira, ended up having to be let go. It turned out he was a little bit laissez faire with his responsibilities as a musician, and a lawsuit was brought against him for neglecting his duties as a musician. To add to this, he was also found guilty of murder. So, in the end, their homicidal cornet player was replaced. Linda Lespets You know, you've got the scientists and human thought and philosophy and looking back to Greek and Roman antiquity. So, I feel like that's, that's like the idea in art, in literature. And what do you, how do you see that happening? in music. James Beck We as musicians had really practical roles to fulfill as well and sometimes that was expressing the will of the church through music and of course you know that's kind of self-explanatory and then we've got this really practical role to entertain and how we go about doing that with the materials we have. So the renaissance as an idealistic expression, I think, you know, as a practical musician, we were always doing others bidding out unless we were church musicians, we were there to entertain and to, excite and to distract and act as an instrument of sometimes of state policy or, or, you know, kind of showing off the power or opulence of a state. Maybe it was through, opera. Where are you? You're getting like human emotion. Yes, absolutely, absolutely. But also, the subject of all those early operas is usually, ancient material from ancient Greece or Rome, so, you know, clearly Renaissance in its ideals of looking back. Othello. Of course. Poppea, Ulysses. I mean, the operas were definitely, drawing into ancient literature and myth, which was bypassing Christianity in many ways. Linda Lespets It's strange because it was an era where it didn't really contradict the other. People were cool with it. Like they were very devoted churchgoers and at the same time they were very into all this Greek and Roman mythology. It was interesting. And then all this humanist thinking and invention I mean, Monteverde was a priest as well, right? James Beck Towards the end of his life. Linda Lespets Instruments are starting to play a bigger role in the music, in the church in Cremona. In 1573, the Maestro de Capella, the Chapel Master at the cathedral, wrote a piece of music for five voices, consorted with all sorts of musical instruments. The words and text are completely clear in accordance with the Council of Trent, he points out. The Amati brothers' father, Andrea Amati, would have witnessed this musical tradition in his lifetime as he attended church, where the music sung would have gone from something that had been unrecognizable in, or in any case very difficult to understand, to music that had identifiable text that could possibly be understood and sung with. They were not hymns like the Lutherans were singing in a congregational style, but there was a marked change in the music being played in the churches. And these were the effects of the counter reformation trickling into everyday life of the people. The workshop continued to be a success. Both the brothers Amati were able to earn a living and to provide a generous dowry for their sister, who had just recently married a man from Casal Maggiore. In town, the cathedral looked like it was finally going to have the interior finished. This had been going on ever since their father was a little boy. And now it looked like all the frescoes and paintings were to be completed. And most amazing of all was an enormous astronomical clock that was being mounted on the terrazzo, the giant bell tower next to the cathedral. Sadly, Girolamo Amati's pregnant wife would never see the clock that would amaze the citizens of Cremona, as shortly after giving birth to their daughter, Elizabeth, Lucrenzia ( Girolamo Amati's wife) died. The fragility of life and uncertainty that Girolamo Amati had to deal with is quite removed from our lives today, and a man in his situation would certainly be looking to marry again, if for nothing else than to have a mother for his young daughter. And as he was contemplating remarrying, finding a new wife and mother for his child, over in Paris, one of the biggest celebrity weddings of the decade was taking place. And the music for the closing spectacle was being played in part on the instruments his father (Andrea Amati) and brother (Antonio Amati) had made for the Valois royal family all those years ago.
