Murph caught up with more RAGBRAI LI riders to hear about their week biking across Iowa. This is the fourth and final episode in a series of great interviews with riders from all over the country. On this episode we have Drew from Connecticut who talks about what RAGBRAI means to him and how much fun he had turning strangers into friends. Next is Kisha and Dan from Illinois. They decided for their first RAGBRAI they would be completely self contained and self supported so everything they needed was on the bike all week. Then we hear from Babbu who lives in Iowa City and jumped on the route for the last day. They were a crew of 9 riders including her 13 year old triplets and her husband who was a national cyclist in India. And finally we have Tiffani and Ali from Idaho. They are from Team Jedi Mustard and they have a fun story about that team name. They are also podcasters! They have a podcast called Frank and Honest and it is about cultivating happiness. ragbrai.com ragbrai.com/thegreatiowafallride/ Frank and Honest Podcast: https://www.youtube.com/@FrankandHonestPodcast?app=desktop

Determined to alleviate this stress, she birthed Babbu. Rooted in science but crafted by parents, Babbu reimagines the parenting journey, providing a supportive community and expert advice to empower parents in nurturing their children. This episode we discuss:Lessons learned as a serial founderGrief that comes with failed businessesWhy we have to value our time differently as foundersLessons in linkedin marketingFundraising - what Charlie knows now but didn't know when she startedBalancing being a mother with being a startup founder and the guilt that comes with itLinks to Babbu's website:https://babbu.co.uk/

Welcome back to NetSupport Radio! In this episode, Al Kingsley speaks to Charlie Rosier of Babbu, as they explore technology in early years education.
It happened. The bhoys have become suburbanites. Babbu's lived it, Scam's a kid in a candy store across state borders having a ball. #Glamwell The MBTA burns, the rents keep getting higher, home ownership is simply inaccessible, and that big purple wave of politics became status quo. They reflect on this pod project and where it will go since cities are going down the tubes due to a lack of accountability from those big Twitter fingers and electeds alike. Girl, dog, house, job still, Tottenham transfer window. In that order.
Who else would get the slot after election day? Of course it's Uncle Jim. First the bhoys catch up after a long hiatus. Babbu's still playing dad, Scam's soft launched the partner. Then the good stuff when Jim helps the bhoys run down why Michelle Wu winning is so good and cool for transit, the differences of opinion on who is best for First Suffolk & Middlesex, State Auditor, and finding common ground on a gubernatorial candidate for 2022 with a bold prediction. And of course why Jim is an aged Stanley Tucci. Jim's the best. The bhoys love him.
Scam's neighborhood is changing before his eyes. The luxury building towering over the bike lane and the park. The bus lane that looks exactly like the MBTA 1 bus between Sullivan Square and Davis. The same stories told city to city, town to town. So Scam said why not have Will Mbah (Chelsea [Football Team], yuck) come on and talk about why he's running for mayor of Somerville, his Chelsea fandom, the housing crisis that's happening on our respective streets, and why policing should look different and Somerville's a perfect place to start. Will's impressed with Scam's eating and drinking hangouts. Scam and Babbu are impressed with his laugh and joy. A match made for Broadway. Don't forget to vote Tues 11/2. Follow Will https://twitter.com/MbahCouncilor Volunteer/Donate/Tweet Hard For The Guy https://www.willmbah.com/wills-story
Babbu still likes to keep an eye on big city politics no matter how much the suburbs, the third co-host, or the Bluetick Coonhound keep him busy. So he checked in on his friend James Solomon of Ward E in Jersey City (7:10) to compare the past four years to now, why this campaign is way hotter than his first go around, and his race being a microcosm of what's happening in the city as a whole as a councilperson, a dad, and a husband. Be sure to follow, volunteer, donate, etc. www.solomonforjc.com Follow James! https://twitter.com/SolomonforJC Song: https://open.spotify.com/track/7zgZEof1vqsg2NkEWA20lc?si=8056e02cfa0140a7
All three black candidates lost and the takes from everyone were endless. I guess some must continue that. Alejandra & Malikai, co-hosts of Insert Name Here, took the slot while Babbu keeps grinding in real life as a good dad. All three of us are younger people of color (under 40) who have a different perspective of being a voter, identity politics, the monolithic vote that can range from God fearing/going and cop loving to breaking the entire system down brick by brick, and why we love Michelle Wu. It's beyond Ricardo Arroyo, Tito Jackson, Wakanda II, the academics, and the professional activists. Coalitions matter, all folk actually are folk. Scam got intolerant of the city and needed an escape. He can't visit Babbu because of the pandemic and can't necessarily go anywhere else. So why not ask someone who lives there to come chat with the bhoys? Jess Bradley Rushing of Pembroke got the slot. An Emerge alum, Pembroke Selectwoman, mom of 4. She does it all and even Babbu had to ask "How do you work?" A COVID-19 vaccine rollout, schools reopening, the basics of an open town meeting vs. your Strong Mayor/Council system. Also a cool story about being a Chelsea fan (across the pond.) It's all here. You know the deal. Follow Jess: https://twitter.com/jbradleyrushing?s=20 Her pro-views on Free, Universal Child Care as a "The Argument' in the Globe: https://www.bostonglobe.com/2020/08/27/metro/should-federal-government-provide-free-universal-child-care/
What is a Civil Complaint Review Board? Why are our police officers allowed so much freedom to protect their private lives? How does one get any accountability from those who can kill us? The bhoys had to get to the bottom of this so Babbu asked CJ Griffin of Pashman Stein Walder Hayden and Karen Thompson of the ACLU NJ to help navigate why police accountability is critical in New Jersey as its' legislature debates a police reform bill. CJ's bio: https://www.pashmanstein.com/attorney/cj-griffin Follow CJ! https://twitter.com/CJGriffinEsq Karen's bio: https://www.aclu-nj.org/about/leadership/karen-thompson Follow Karen! https://twitter.com/amazonatty
The bhoys continue the discussions with David's perspectives on the state of Jersey City's mayoral race and Babbu's eyes on what Phil Murphy will (or won't) face for another run as NJ Gov. Also an update on David's new book on H.P. Lovecraft and his time in New York City! Follow David! twitter.com/DavidJHudsonJC David's blog/info! anothertownonthehudson.com
The bhoys are reaching the end of the year so that means your elected leaders are probably playing a game or two with police reform, budgets, and everything in between before it closes out. Babbu's extremely pissed about the Hudson County Freeholders and their decision to extend an ICE contract for 10 years. Tom DeGise brings out the worst in him. And then Marie-Frances Rivera of MassBudget got the slot to try and explain why public policy in Massachusetts is difficult, the challenges she deals with trying to have leaders focus in an anti-racism lens, and relates to Scam on how lucky people can have it and life is still a pain in the ass. She rocks. Give her a follow: https://twitter.com/MarieFrances_MA?s=20 Donate to MassBudget if you can: https://massbudget.org/
Babbu had a child, a female child, a beautiful third co-host. So he's adapting to life as a new father during a pandemic laughing at how Donald Trump had it, Jeffrey Toobin going zoom hambone, legal weed in his neck of the woods, why Scam voted for Joe Biden after all, and more. Literally this child needs some milk all the time. Can you believe that?
Babbu's on break and Scam needed a co-host so why not the host of another podcast that discusses the same thing Milk does. Evan George of Renters Radio got the slot where he hashes out the DSA and it's role with the past primary season, a housing crisis we're looking at without an eviction moratorium, and mayoral races where two candidates are officially in who know how to play both sides of the game. Follow Evan: https://twitter.com/bostopianews Take a listen to Renters Radio https://anchor.fm/renters-radio
Well, this one was bound to happen at some point right. Michelle got the slot and talked with the bhoys about schools restarting, managing being a mom and an elected official, giving Babbu some tips on parenting, Marty Walsh always being mean to her in the press, and what Boston could look like in a post-COVID19 recovery. A chill pod.
Scam was watching last Tuesday's Boston City Council Ways & Means hearing because he knew it'd be spicy. Everyone finally activated, ready to start defunding some cops and putting that money back into the communities where it belongs. And then @Khudaaaaa got her turn to speak and she went full scorch #bospoli policy on why we need to fully defund the Boston police, why Mike Flaherty and Annissa Essaibi-George are accomplices to how we got here, and how adults only listen when it's prepackaged and polite. Scam & Babbu don't care for prepackaged and polite so they gave her the slot and came away with a reality that the future is very bright. The youth just need to mobilize every election and make it count. The bhoys were inspired by her. You should be too. Let's go. Follow Marwa: https://twitter.com/khudaaaaa
A pandemic started two months ago and now COVID-19 is magically over. Babbu & Scam cannot compute this logic. While Phil Murphy & Charlie Baker keep figuring out how many political mouths to feed, the bhoys are horrified at what society has become during a public health crisis. Political leaders across state and local governments are willing to risk lives for the very few who made sure all the relief benefited them as food bank lines become the norm and debt snowballs are an individual mandate. Babbu's disgusted with those who refuse to wear masks, Scam's infuriated at how "equity" is a buzzword that doesn't mean anything to those in power. It's a hot and emotional ride.
Babbu had to get Hector Oseguera running for New Jersey's 8th district so Scam asked Ihssane Leckey to come on because he was keeping an eye on the Massachusetts 4th district. Out of all the candidates, she seemed to be the one talking issues that actually affect people (of the poor kind) beyond Newton/Brookline. Why is she doing this? Why is our healthcare attached to our employment? Will you ever get your 1,200 dollars? So many fun questions, so many compassionate answers. Authenticity, it comes a long way. Check out her website. Everyone is doing social distance but not Babbu & Scam. Julia Mejia's been planning some public hearings on sanctuary safe spaces (on hold because of COVID-19) and the bhoys wanted to get some background on the legal aspects of immigration here in Boston. Who better than Matt Cameron, a local immigration attorney (and new ward committee member for East Boston) to harp with them about ICE, immigration policy, and what he hopes to achieve with new ward committees in our midst. It's the indica.

Babbu talks a lot about the Gateway Project. It's basically the MBTA getting a massive overhaul, but for millions more people. It's a lifeline to New York and New Jersey that can keep him up at night if something goes wrong. So he invited Brian Fritsch of the Regional Plan Association (7:48) to coach the bhoys on a few things about it. No, it won't collapse soon, but how many bodies will it take for it to finally matter? Who knows. Here's a video explaining Gateway Project's Hudson Tunnel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJi2-I18kW4&frags=pl%2Cwn And one on the Gateway Project's Portal Bridge https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ty7F3bOjkZU
Babbu has fond memories of Liberty State Park and always wondered what efforts it took to protect it. So he invited Sam Pesin, President of the Friends of Liberty State Park (8:40) to explain the decades long fight to preserve it, the battles he's had to fight, & the stories going back to when the park was first founded to now. The current battle is protecting Caven Point, a bird sanctuary that is being considered for three golf holes for Liberty National; something that benefits few under the presumption of many. Sam's just like the bhoys... he's just seen it longer. The fight goes on. Find The Friends of Liberty State Park's website below and consider your own conservation efforts in your cities: http://www.folsp.org/preservation/protection_laws.html Also find Morris Pesin's (Sam's dad) obituary that speaks to the heart of who he is: http://www.folsp.org/history/father_print.pdf
Babbu & Scam have returned from holiday break and not much has changed. Your rents still sky high, public transportation still dysfunctional, and capitalism is what will ruin us all. But at least the bhoys let their two "uncles" David Goodwin & Jim Aloisi come back and provide a few predictions on what they see as the growing issues of Jersey City, New Jersey and Boston, Massachusetts respectively. AirBNBs, public parks becoming golf courses, free public transportation, and a Gateway Project that will never get started. 2020 with that zero vision. They love to see it. "Uncle" Dave https://twitter.com/DavidJHudsonJC "Uncle" Jim https://twitter.com/JimAloisi
Babbu is a Canada-based creative who is well-known for the characters he plays in JusReign's YouTube videos, his artwork and his clothing brand Committee Members. Over the last decade, Babbu has become a common and important figure in the childhood experiences of so many in the South Asian diaspora community. In this episode, we discuss Babbu's start on YouTube, his priorities right now and his goals for the future. We also talk about some of his best-known characters including Tide-jacket-wearing Prince and the Baghban Uncle, and his relationship with other Desi creatives like JusReign. And be sure to follow @pardesipodcast on Instagram and Twitter, and like us on Facebook for updates and more content.
The bhoys had one more left in 2019 and had to go back to basics. So they gave Neema Avashia, your local Boston Public School teacher, a chance to give them some knowledge on daily life as one and what makes BPS great. But it also has it's problems, so you know Babbu & Scam want a piece of that. Biggest budgets ever (when they never go down), the McCormack Fieldhouse saving the school itself, bathrooms in disarray, and BuildBPS... so many things, so little time. They're just doing it for the kids. Check out Neema https://twitter.com/AvashiaNeema
Mohammed Missouri (13:08) got the slot and the bhoys put the North London rivalry aside for the greater good to have a few laughs about New Jersey not delivering the goods to Phil Murphy, why everything on Beacon Hill is broken, & how we have moved into the next phase of the election cycle: 2021. Babbu & Scam trying to get back into the swing of things. Mohammed can be found here! https://twitter.com/hammodimissouri
Babbu & Scam recorded this last Friday, 10/18 so they are certainly not in the positive moods they presented. But they are reaching the end of this #darkhorse series before Election Day on 11/5 so they had Liz Breadon running for District 9, Allston/Brighton. She reminds Scam of his mother, Babbu was supremely impressed with her environmentalism, and they came away nodding at everything she was saying. Babbu almost sold the house in Jersey ready to get gouged by a realtor. Another great candidate up for your consideration. Be sure to check out her website/platform. https://www.liz4ab.com
Scam spent a weekend in Buffalo. He ate all the wings, he consumed the Molson Canadians, and lived off of Tim Hortons. It's a different way of life for the Bills Mafia. And then Babbu & Scam got into the Boston City Council Preliminary Election. It shook out as you expected for the top 3, but that 4th spot.. let them fight. Election Day is November 5th. Let's be better than the 11% turnout.
(Recorded on 9/4/19) Babbu & Scam keep the #DarkHorse series going. This time it's with Lee Nave, a candidate for District 9. An outsider taking a risk so the bhoys wanted to pick Lee's brain about being a Democratic Socialist, his campaign, and the issues that seem to be where everyone's focus is. (Shocker, it's housing.) They also harp on the similarities of where he grew up to Boston regarding race and the Straight Pride Parade. A lot of milk to be poured with another candidate risking it all. Don't forget to vote on 9/24 either way!
Babbu & Scam wanted to talk about taxes. So they asked Brandon McKoy, President of the New Jersey Policy Perspective to pour a cold one and make some mustaches. A dive into how New Jersey got to where it is fiscally, life in Trenton, and answering Jim Aloisi's question of why it exists. #MathIsReal Follow Brandon! https://twitter.com/Brandon_McKoy New Jersey Policy Perspective https://www.njpp.org/about
Lotta confessions in this episode. Babbu has a secret and it's the suburban life for him now. Yuck. But we also get into the highs and lows as a first time homeowner, a little GOP bashin', and Scam's own confession about why Operation Clean Sweep was personal. He's pretty pissed about it.
Babbu & Scam enjoyed a nice Independence Day together in New Jersey and concocted an idea to get someone on who cares about transit, but has the ability to move it forward (or get in the way.) So they asked someone who can move it forward: it's Eric Lesser of the 1st Hampden & Hampshire district. He came on and gave the rundown on the East-West High Speed Rail/the transportation crisis we're in, representing a district on different ends of the economic spectrum, & flashing around 10,000 dollars to convince Scam to move back to Western Massachusetts. Eric making it rain whole milk and bridge the gap between the East and West of the Commonwealth. The fellas can get down with that.
Remember when Babbu & Scam had Andrea Honore on to talk about the Weymouth Gas Compressor and life as a mom/activist? Well recently, it cleared a big hurdle and while we recorded before the news broke, the boys invited Nathan Phillips on to discuss the climate we're living in politically, the relevancy of moving off gas, and even how the MBTA plays a role in our climate efforts. Make the damn MBTA free already. Update on the Weymouth Gas Compressor: https://www.wbur.org/earthwhile/2019/06/27/air-quality-permit-for-weymouth-compressor-should-move-ahead-state-official-says Follow Nathan! https://twitter.com/nathanpboston
Babbu & Scam started this podcast because believe it or not, Boston and Jersey City have a lot in common: transit's awful, rents are too high, wages haven't gone up, but everything's economically boomin' So they invited James Solomon, Councilman for Ward E on the Jersey City Council to come on. A progressive at heart and in mind he opened our eyes to what's happening within it with gentrification on the rise, his start in politics, and even the connection he lived working in Boston City Hall to now. An excellent episode that only showcases why the boys provide the milk. Because they'll always find a Boston/Jersey City connection.
While Babbu is known for his hilarious roles in Jus Reign's YouTube parodies of western South Asian culture, he is also an entrepreneur and a major influencer for young Sikhs around the world. He stars in the National Sikh Campaign's "Diversity Day" video created by the renown Funny or Die production studio, where he takes on the challenge of educating others on what it means to be Sikh and what the turban represents. Our interview touches on not only what he hopes to do with this role but also his career, his goals, and most importantly, how he came across his infamous Tide jacket. See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
Babbu & Scam needed a bloodborne of Jersey City to explain what it was then to what it was now. So they invited Duquann Sweeney of the Royal Men Foundation to come on and explain what we're all missing. Photographer, introspective tweeter, and creator of the Royal Men Foundation he provide insights ranging from the purpose of his organization, the borders between black and white of Jersey City, and a fine assessment of some local foods in town. Scamwell also noticed that when it comes down to even craft beer, it'd be hard to find another brother or sister around. As much as he loves it, he's just blending in as slings the classic tropes about the Seaport (which are true.) Follow Duquann! https://twitter.com/DuquannSweeney Here's his website! https://www.duquannsweeney.com The Royal Men Foundation https://theroyalmen.com/about-us/
Babbu is a big fan of art, in particular the stuff that's on our public transportation, back alleys, and abandoned areas of our fair cities. The rebel, angsty kind. So he invited the author of Patrick Verel, the author of Graffiti Murals: Exploring the Impacts of Street Art to come on and talk about some of the case studies from it and how the most random of places can be a better landscape. Check out Patrick's website! http://www.patrickverel.com And the book! https://www.amazon.com/Graffiti-Murals-Exploring-Impacts-Street/dp/076434899X
A lot of people know Scam grew up in Western Massachusetts. So why not have Babbu and him peek their heads behind that Interstate 91 curtain with Matt Szafranski, Editor-in-Chief of Western Massachusetts Politics & Insight. What's Domenic Sarno's deal as a closet republican? How is the MGM Springfield working out as the Wynn deal collapsed during the live recording? How does Charlie Baker and the MassGOP play out there and can Marty Walsh make a swing in 2022 for the highest office in the Commonwealth? The milk this episode is very rich. Be sure to stay up to date on Western Massachusetts political news by checking out his website and give him a follow Western Massachusetts Politics & Insight https://www.wmasspi.com Follow Matt & WMassPI https://twitter.com/MSzafranski413 https://twitter.com/WMassPI As an update since recording, there have been several candidates announcing their run for mayor against Sarno, find that here! https://www.wmasspi.com/2019/05/briefings-sudden-springfield-aspirant-surge-ensures-mayoral-preliminary.html
Babbu & Scam harp a lot on local political machines, boss politics, and the will of the party. So Terrence McDonald of the Journey Journal came on to tell us all about it and more. A dive into the status of the Jersey Journal's unionization efforts and the paper's future existence, how covering the Mayor's office in Jersey City can have trials and tribulations, bats**t crazy stories about funding local schools to local councilmen in DUIs, and Terrence's Jeopardy! addiction. It's all here.
It's Earth Day (or #MAEarthWeek dependent on who you ask) so Babbu & Scam had @grumpygrumpyowl on. A mom and activist from Weymouth, she's been trying to put a stop to a gas compressor station being built in town and currently sacrificing lunch hours for 130 days silently protesting outside Charlie Baker's corner office to stop it. Why must we ruin the planet when we don't have to? What does this mean for Weymouth? We had questions, Andrea had answers. Happy Earth Day Andrea's website https://sitwithandrea.wordpress.com Follow Andrea https://twitter.com/grumpygrumpyowl
Babbu & Scam have been talking about Opportunity Zones, the trojan horse of development talk in recent months. So they had "Captain" come on. A real estate junkie, Captain went to a conference that laid out an "ends justify the means" approach to the O-Zones and gave us the low-down on what to expect and what they all mean. They're policy driven on this one everybody.
Babbu & Scam needed a vacation from Massachusetts & New Jersey and Matt Goletz, local pod friend and singer/songwriter tried to convince us to come to Austin. It's the Wild Wild West, or the live music capital of the world dependent on who you ask. End Song: "Moby Dick" by Matt Goletz Check Matt's music across all platforms! matthewgoletz.bandcamp.com
Babbu & Scam were stuck on what the hell is going on in local/state/national politics and needed help to flesh it out. So Stephanie Murray from POLITICO Playbook Massachusetts came on and broke up the fight. A heavy talk on recent weed legislation in New Jersey, the state of news in our respective borders, and the stories we're all keeping an eye on whether they're the congressional delegation or the state GOP. It's all here. Stephanie's got Milk credentials.
Babbu & Scam continue their raucous journey on urban planning, cities, and everything in between with @theurbanologist. Join them. And be sure your milk is ice cold!
Babbu & Scam wanted @theurbanologist on, so he accepted the invitation. Imagine if you could make a city like SimCity or Cities: Skylines? And then you inject steroids into it? Here's the appetizer. Max is pretty brave.
First, Babbu & Scam report back after enjoying a long Presidents Day weekend in Jersey City. Fact finding mission. Also, Babbu & Scam read polls. They wanted to understand them. They asked Steve Koczela to come on to explain them. He also holds off everyone who wants him in a guillotine for a very early Massachusetts 7th primary poll. You know, the one that had Capuano up 13 points. He entered the Poll Thunderdome. Only one can come out, he was it.
Babbu & Scam had "Fidel" on, one of Babbu's old college friends and a admitted capitalist/auditor of the corporations. He explains the plot of the Big Short, how New Jersey is a great place to live but you're nickel and dimed for everything, his latin heritage/growing up then and now, and how Scam could never move there because of a fear of crowds. Capitalism is hard. It doesn't get easier.
Babbu & Scam realized it's Black History Month so they better get into the thiccness of blackness with "Desmond Guyle", a hard nosed real brother they have known since Nat Turner revolted. What originally meant to be a discussion of race in Boston turned into race in America. And how Scamwell looks like Edward Brooke, R-Massachusetts. Good grief. Also, African Americans are still worth only eight dollars in Boston. That needle hasn't changed for a year.
Scamwell & Babbu remember when school was important but didn't care how it was funded during recess or Field Days. That's changed a bit at their older ages. They invited Kristin Johnson, a local BPS parent and advocate to give them the heads up on schools in Boston and Jersey City, what a Foundational Budget is all about, and providing voice for the voiceless. Bak to school the boys go, and came away with a lot more than they thought.
Babbu & Scam are back everyone and invited David J. Goodwin of Jersey City on to discuss his book Left Bank of The Hudson: Jersey City & The Artists of 111 1st Street. A great discussion on the subject of gentrification, development, urban planning, and the political powers that be in our respective metropolitan areas; this is finally when #bospoli and #JerseyCity complete it's convergence. Buy the book below: https://www.amazon.com/Left-Bank-Hudson-Jersey-Artists/dp/0823278034 Follow David! @anothertownonthehudson https://twitter.com/DavidJHudsonJC David's Website https://anothertownonthehudson.com
Babbu & Scam run down some of the final stories of 2018 they look forward to following up on in 2019. Time for a season break for the boys, they needed some egg nog on payroll taxes, opportunity zones, the MBTA... and Scam's arch nemesis Geoff Diehl. See you in 2019 everybody. Happy HOLIDAYS.
Oh what, you thought Babbu & Scam were done with housing? Yeah well, they're not finished yet. We all had to use a rental agent in Boston to find an apartment so Scam knew the perfect one to bring on and give the scoop on what the market will always be about, why colleges/universities are partly to blame, harping on old times like getting drunk at Rednecks in Allston, and how Craigslist became the housing database for the region. Everyone welcome Ice. Let's do this.
SPECIAL TWO PART EPISODE PART 2 Recorded Tuesday 11/20/18 Grace, Babbu, and Scamwell deep dive even more on the dangers Amazon was gonna bring to Boston and what it will bring to Crystal City/Long Island City, our general disappointments with the Democrats, how important Roxbury is in general, and China Delight being one of the best Chinese restaurants in all of Malden. Let us ease the pain a bit. We're feeling it too.
Scamwell and Babbu do the rundowns of the New Jersey and Massachusetts Senate Debates in anticipation of the final showdowns where we won't learn anything new. We got the clips. #mapoli #NJSenate Debate
Babbu & Scam decided to come back to Earth and look back on the old days when they had to work two jobs to get by and then a special guest named Deppo came to mind who made Scam laugh more than one should handle. A man behind the line making your food he gave the boys a rundown of what life is like back there, how the current immigration debate plays out amongst his staff, minimum wage hikes, and sick time. A real laborer's laborer, memes included
The honeymoon's over and after a nice time in Greece and France, Babbu's not exactly sure what country or state he's come back to. New Jersey Senate's a mess, #masen is bananas, and then the Kavanaugh train came rolling in. And surprise, we called it before Saturday, because people are spineless. Scam's mad, Babbu's uncertain. We're back baby.
WELCOME BACK to the @ButterChickenPodcast! We are beyond excited to be launching Season 2 of BCP, and couldn't be happier to do so with the extremely talented artist @BabbuThePainter. Babbu stopped by while she was in NY recently and chopped it up with @DJSharad + @DJJuicy for some buttery conversation. The #ButterChickenBoys and #BabbuThePainter dove deep into history, as Babbu told us about what growing up was like, being cool, wanting to make her own clothing, going to art school and what her parents thought about her pursuing art. Babbu had us laughing the entire convo while also painting the picture of how hard she's had to hustle to get to this point in her career. She explains what Bakwaas means, merging Indian culture with art + hip hop, how to separate social media from reality, and her skin tone being powerful! We also chatted about her @Converse campaign, that one time she broke her elbow, promoting confidence in women, and when her mom found out she had tattoos. Make sure to tune in to this buttery weekly programming as we launch the beginning of #Season2! Link in Bio! Go like, comment, share, subscribe, forward + follow!
Babbu is on his honeymoon so Scam had to find a celebrity host. Kyle Clauss was free. Two #mapoli bulls in a china shop; they pick up where they never left off: the MBTA, Boston media/journalism, Marty Walsh, Reimer, and more Reimer. One part Milk, one part Buswell Street, you get a pretty bold #mapoli Americano.
Babbu & Scam have recovered from Babbu's wedding and they brought on their first non-aliased guest: the one and only Andy Goodrich of JobsFirstPAC right here in Massachusetts. A rundown of what happened in the Massachusetts Primaries (Ayanna had one of the best ads of all time), a deep dive into Term Limits (do em', what happens afterward tho), and what makes JobsFirstPAC & MassFiscal different with the Mass Supreme Judicial Court ruling against orgs like them (Hint: Andy's actually a decent guy but there's laws too!) Babbu and Scam welcome him back. Here's the links to some of JobsFirstPACs episodes. We've bridged the gap. https://soundcloud.com/jobs-first-pac

Babbu & Scam report back after their "fact-finding mission" aka Babbu's Bachelor Party what legal marijuana is like in Denver, Colorado and what it could look like for Boston and Jersey City. A four course meal infused with Marijuana, the experiences in a dispensary, and what our favorites were. The greatest hits of their journey for those Rocky Mountain highs. The one thing they took away from the experience: it's gonna be awesome and the facts they did find... they can't even believe they remembered them.
Babbu & Scam got sick of the local journalism in Boston and New Jersey and asked for a journalist to come on and tell us what they're missing. "Summer" relates to the boys on traffic in New Jersey to Boston, an interesting story on taking down the man, and defends her fellow reporters as they think journalists ease on criticism for the sake of access. (Looking at you Boston Globe!) And yeah, a sneak preview of the upcoming episode. The boys are going to find Rocky Mountain highs.

Babbu & Scam invited a special guest they're calling MB to come on and do a long form conversation/rant. He gave them the rundown on a simple question: why did he vote for Trump? Surprisingly, they learned a few things on the way like what a conservative's idea of a balanced budget is, why Obama is to blame for why we got here, and that Hannity really doesn't talk about the pee tape, (We're serious, MB didn't even know about it.) -Apologies for our sound issues, we're working on that. Practice makes perfect.

» È noi simu in listessu spiritu. Incù l’edizione di a so currespundenza – ci vole à salutà quì u travagliu di Antone Maria Graziani –, si cunnosce avà qualch’uni di i so difetti, chì lighjendu e so lettere u pudemu seguità passu à passu, è guasi entre in lu so cerbellu... Ma si trovanu dinù in li so scritti infurmazione menu legere nantu à i so calculi pulitichi cumplessi, è ancu cumplicati certe volte... Ma ci si vede sopra tuttu l’amore di Pasquale Paoli per a so terra, per a so nazione, è ci si trova un idea centrale chè no ripigliemu oghje à contu nostru : a vulintà di cunsacrà tutte e so forze à a Corsica, è di serve, senza stancià, u bè cumunu, u bè publicu, spressione chì rivene à ogni pagina. Micca un Diu, micca un santu : un omu. Solu un omu, ma un umone. Oghje, ghjè incù assai emuzione chè no li rendimu umagiu. À ringrazià vi.
