This week, hosts Elizabeth and Kathy speak with Suhani Gupta and Amogh Sriranga, the co-captains of the Masti dance team at Boston College. Suhani is a sophomore studying human centered engineering, while Amogh is a junior studying economics with a minor in finance. Masti, which was established in 2003, is BC's only Bollywood Fusion dance team. The group competes annually in the AHANA Leadership Council's Showdown competition. Last year, the group won first place at Showdown and chose to donate their winnings to South Asian Americans Leading Together, a charity that strives to achieve racial justice for South Asian people in the United States. This year, the group performed at the annual SASA Culture Show, where they demonstrated their energetic and unapologetically cultural routines.  Tune in to hear about the group's preparation for this year's ALC Showdown and their goal to hold their title as the reigning champions of BC's biggest annual dance competition.
