Kelly brings a lot of Titans of Wrestling Love on this show with Andre vs Hogan, Fuji & Saito vs Strongbows and a bloody match between Larry Z & Ivan Pustki. The flagship show of Friday Evening's Undercard is back after a one week absence, covering the May 18, 1987 episode of WWF Prime Time Wrestling. With: -Bobby Heenan cutting a promo on Ken Patera where he says that Ken Patera should be in a body cast. -A short match between Johnny V and Brutus Beefcake where Heenan and Monsoon eloquently discuss the difference between a choke hold and a sleeper. -A match between Iron Mike Sharpe and Sivi Afi where Sharpe is billed as Canada's Greatest Athlete. The match went just shy of 10 minutes, felt like an eternity. -We get a replay of the Can-Am Connection vs Sheik and Volkoff match from the most recent Saturday Night's Main event. -Frenchy Martin faces off against Nick Kiniski...to answer a question from the show, Nick Kiniski is, in fact, the son of the famous Gene Kiniski. -Gene Okerlund interviews Ricky Steamboat...commentary on the interview is extensive. -We see a six-man tag match featuring the British Bulldogs and Tito Santana. -Ken Patera vs Hercules version 2.0, recorded the day after their first match which was so bad it couldn't be aired. -Demolition vs the Islanders, Demolition is being put over very strong on Prime Time, this is one of the few really progressing stories on the show. -Okerlund interviews the Honky Tonk Man -Ricky Steamboat vs Butch Reed closes the show. Overall, a pretty good show, not the best we've seen, but hardly the worst. We'll be back next week. Hopefully we can get a show out on the Tom McGee special recently released on the WWE Network and a few other things that we have simmering. Thanks for listening.

This week on the show John is joined by an old friend, Thunderous Thurston, who's also always thirsty. He's never heard that before...  Anyway, on the actual wrestling program, we get the first of the big, out of the ordinary shows. Saturday Night's Main Event came on TV 4-5 times a year. On the episode, we talk about where and how these episodes aired on TV and how the cards were made. We also talk about how main event level talent was used in WWE during this time period, especially a main event guy like Hulk Hogan. We also have some top notch matches: Kamala against Jake Roberts, Kamala has "Kim Chee" in his corner, but is it really Kim Chee? George Steele against Macho Man Randy Savage in a lumberjack match...how else does a lumberjack match go other than immediate degeneration? The British Bulldogs against The Hart Foundation, best 2 out of 3 falls for the tag team championship. Really good match between two great tag teams. Hercules against Ricky Steamboat for the Intercontinental Championship.  And finally the Can-Am Connection against Nikolai Volkoff and The Iron Sheik. Overall, a really good show. Not to be confused with the WWF tag team of Rick Martel and Tom Zenk, the Can-Am Connection for this podcast is a reference to my interview with a fellow who goes by the name of Kristian.  Kristian holds the rank of nikyu and he trains in Canada and the United States.  He gives his thoughts on Judo in the United States and shares his experiences and opinions on Judo in the United States compared to Canada.  We also have a fun conversation about the WWE.  As a side note I had connectivity issues throughout this interview so it was not my intention to talk over my guest at times.
