It's an honor to drop this episode today. We have arguably the greatest female high school basketball player to ever come out of Northern Nevada on the podcast! Local legend Ashlee Orndorff takes time to share her incredibly emotional story with basketball and sexual abuse in one of the heaviest episodes in our 5 years of Not In My House Podcast.Ashlee Orndorff is from small town Hawthorne Nevada. At 6'2'' she was ahead of her time and absolutely superior to everyone on the basketball court. She played all positions on the floor and had the complete skillset with the ability to score inside, outside and she made everyone around her stars. Ashlee led Mineral County High School to three state titles. Orndorff at one point held the state record for career points and still holds the state record for career rebounds, career blocks and the single-game record for rebounds (30) and assists (15). She was named USA Today Nevada Player of the Year in 1998, USA Today Honorable Mention All-American in 1999, She was named State MVP in both basketball and Volleyball in 2000 and she was selected to the Nike All-American Team. Orndorff was also ranked as a top 30 player and a top 5 wing player in the nation. Despite being recruited by the top programs in the country, she chose to sign with Nevada before transferring to University of Portland where she was the first in school history to earn WCC Newcomer of the Year and she also made WCC Honorable Mention. Ashlee shares her story of sexual abuse by her AAU coach that started at age 15 and continued throughout both her storied high school and college career that eventually led to drug addiction and depression...yet the ultimate bounce back story of courage and strength. This was truly an honor to have Ashlee Orndorff on the podcast today. Out of all of the incredible accolades racked up and the difference she made in every game she has suited up for in her legendary high school basketball career, the biggest difference may perhaps come from her life experiences off the court to help the next generation. Her life may have more of a purpose now than ever. How fitting that she once again the ultimate difference maker.Thank you Ashlee Orndorff!Be sure to support Ashlee by checking out her podcast that expands more in detail on her story, experiences and other great content! FOUNDER OF 2ND CHANCEBorn into a minister's home, CJ Orndorff was raised in Tucson, Arizona. Music and ministry were just the way they lived. His parents pastored a local church, but also shared the Good News in other cities and nations. They purposefully demonstrated the passion for evangelism that he carries today. He attended Christ For the Nations Institute in Dallas. Known for it's amazing worship, CFNI further deposited a deeper passion for worship and an insatiable hunger for the presence of God in him.He was raised backing up his musical parents on the electric bass, trumpet and acoustic guitar. His mother, Kathleen, and his father, Cliff, were exceptional musicians and pastors. CJ started leading worship at 15 and served in pastoral and music ministry in Arizona, Iowa and in California until the mid '90s. In 1994, a dear friend asked him to bring his worship team to prison for the first time. That experience changed his life and the focus of his future. Evangelism had always been at the core of his vision and dreams. Those dreams suddenly became a reality in his personal ministry.By God's grace, he's completed nearly 1850 concerts in prisons since 1994.CJ has been happily married to his wonderful wife, Laury, since 1988. Their daughter, Lynelle, is married, has 2 boys, and has served on staff with YWAM Denver. Their son, CJ IV, is a musician and photographer, working alongside his father in 2nd CHANCE. Their daughter, Candace, is married with two sons and lives in Southern California. https://watch.tbn.org/c/sns/fW6r76Qmhttps://www.cjorndorff.com/

This first installment of Wednesday Night Thunder is the go-home show to Souled Out and it sure was... a 2 hour block of television. Terry Funk has formed The Old Age Outlaws with Arn Anderson, Larry Zbyszko, and Paul Orndorff to help take out the NWO. Bret Hart reveals he had an epiphany and t-shirt politics are back on WCW TV. Coming out of WrestleMania I, we had Saturday Night's Main Event debuting on NBC in May of 1985! These shows were always structured weird, and this one was the first one to do so. The "main event" was actually the second match on the show, with Hulk Hogan defending the WWF Title against "Cowboy" Bob "Ace" Orton. Wendi Richter also puts her WWF Ladies Wrestling Title on the line against the legendary Fabulous Moolah while Cyndi Lauper cheers her on. The show also takes place on Mother's Day, so we get a lot of special stuff going on to celebrate mothers (oddly enough, Mr. T doesn't talk about his mama). In the news, we also talk for almost an hour about the state of the territories in the United States as well as wrestling abroad in Japan and in Mexico. There's a lot going on, not all of it is great, but all of it is entertaining as hell.ALL PODCAST, SOCIAL MEDIA, & MERCHANDISE LINKS: linktr.ee/MainEventMarksCHECK OUT OUR MERCHANDISE: MainEventMarks.redbubble.com & bonfire.com/store/maineventmarksGET FUELED WITH SHOCKED ENERGY: https://shockedenergy.com/collections/all?sca_ref=1814354.mOXH7RrwKh&sca_source=MainEventMarks (promo code: MainEvent for 10% off)GET AWESOME SPORTS T-SHIRTS: intheclutch.com/MAINEVENT (use code "MAINEVENT" for 10% off)ORDER FROM SWIFT LIFESTYLES: SwiftLifestyles.com, use PROMO CODE: MainEventMarks at checkout for 15% offLISTEN EVERY WEDNESDAY AT 9PM EST: tikilive.com/channel/BURNS
