Send us Fan MailMelissa Strong, was electrocuted at home, while working on a design project related to opening her now-acclaimed restaurant (Bird & Jim) in Estes Park, CO. She died briefly and came back, experiencing a forest and tunnel! When she came back, the damage was so severe that charred bones in her hands were visible, jutting out where fingers once were. Doctors initially told her she would likely only have four fingers left — her pinkies and index fingers. A passionate, elite climber, this was difficult news for Melissa to swallow.The recovery was long and brutal, both mentally and physically. At one point in the hospital, her arms were surgically sewn together, and she was riding a stationary bike in that condition just trying to keep her body moving and her mind sane. Six months later, she managed to open her first restaurant, and eventually found her way back to rock climbing.She wrote a memoir about the experience, published by Falcon, called Climbing Through: A Courageous Story of Grit, Healing, and Second Chances (March 3, 2026, paperback). What started as a carefree summer job in 1970 turned into a life-or-death experience for 19-year-old Eileen Whitaker. While exploring the snowy terrain near Wyoming's Togwotee Lodge, Eileen was unexpectedly electrocuted while trying to lift a snowmobile from a melting snow puddle. Paralyzed by the shock, submerged in freezing water, and left unconscious, she awoke six feet away from the snowmobile — with a spark plug in her hand and no memory of how she got there.Experts from the snowmobile company later told her: she should have died.

The video was shot by Pelosi's daughter Alexandra and provided to Congressional investigators via HBO. 6:25pm- While appearing on Fox News with Jesse Waters, billionaire David Sacks noted that Silicon Valley is suddenly backing Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. Although the California-based technology sector has historically been progressive in political ideology, Sacks says he believes people are starting to realize that Trump's policies benefit them. 6:30pm- A jury in Wilmington, Delaware has found Hunter Biden guilty on three felony charges related to lying on a background-check he submitted when acquiring a firearm in October of 2018. According to reports, the president's son could face up to 25-years in prison and a fine up to $750,000. Following the trial, Juror #10 spoke with CNN—explaining that he never considered that Hunter was the son of the president of the United States. 6:40pm- When asked about the Hunter Biden trial during an interview with Dana Bash on CNN, Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI) claimed that her internet connection dropped and could not continue the conversation…perfect timing! 6:50pm- A progressive journalist secretly recorded a conversation she had with Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito. At one point Justice Alito agrees that the country is polarized and that it should return to a place of godliness. How is anything he said controversial? The left is, of course, losing its mind.
