The Dutchman and the Macho King are back. Jack Tunney joins us for about 30 seconds before he's whisked away in a witness protection helicopter.
On this episode of the Noobs and Knockouts Podcast, we return to 1990 to answer the burning question: Who will defend their title at WrestleMania 6? Jack Tunney has the answer, and that answer is "por que no los dos?" The WrestleMania 6 card is shaping up, and Bobby Heenan and Gorilla Monsoon have all the scoops. Also on this episode, we have more Hogan and Warrior miscommunications, Ultimate Warrior (probably) reading cue cards, Bobby Heenan's failing ticket scalping scheme, unlawful arrests, the throughline from Rick Rude to Daniel Garcia, and more! Won't you join us?
This week on the show we chat about so much fun stuff. In the history portion, we talk about the resignation of Jack Tunney from the WWF, a short WHC reign for Savage & more. From there the Retro Raw covers a main event that involved SCSA & The Undertaker as they are set to meet at Judgement Day. Into the Dorkness is surprisingly full of news and new arrivals. Toward the end, we cover all things AEW, touch on WWE and run down the recent ACW Wisconsin show at Tanners.

The Macho King visited Jack Tunney out by the sea and they recap the trip while Dutchman does yard work.
The eighties... supposedly Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, and George Bush were all presidents of the united states but the only President we acknowledged was WWF President, Jack Tunney. It was the decade of glam rock, hair metal, acid-washed jeans, Hulk Hogan, the Nintendo Entertainment System, DeLoreans, and Bird vs Magic in the NBA. Family sitcoms, Saturday morning cartoons, MTV, video games, comic books... more so than anything else from the 80s, it was the films of the 1980s that shaped so many of us. With that nostalgia in mind, we will be looking back at our Top 10 favorite movies from the 80s. Joel has made his list of 5 and I've picked 5 of mine. We based our choices off of films that we enjoyed at the time... leaving behind the movies from the 80s that we watched later in life and became fans of. We'll cover Joel's 5 picks in part 1 and Cash's 5 in part 2. We hope you'll enjoy revisiting the 80s with us and make sure you let us know what your favorite movies were when you were living life in the 80s. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/middleagedandmediocre/message

Solomonster opens 294 with a special announcement, then discusses handicap hell on Raw, CM Punk's homecoming, rumors of an Undertaker/Ryback match at WrestleMania, why it's a bad idea and a suggestion for a better opponent, the plight of Dolph Ziggler, can he draw money and be a top guy, the shocking lack of real heels in wrestling, a possible storyline twist for Magnus, the Hulk Hogan/AJ Styles/Dixie Carter finale on Impact and the incredible spoiler for this Thursday's show (which involves the perfect cover for the inevitable Death of TNA book), talking Los Matadores before going off on an unintended rant on the Running of the Bulls in Pamplona, explaining "Lucky Sperm" Nash, setting the record straight on his "hate" for The Miz, explaining Jack Tunney's role with the WWF since they won't and, in a follow-up to last week's Q&A, running through many of the crappy WWF gimmicks from 1995. Plus, Bruno's lost title belt, JR's first heel turn, The Zamboni Incident, the Kennell from Hell and more this week in history!
